  1. Take a good look, cos you won't see much of it on Saturday.
  2. Smile, you're on candid camera!
  3. This is as close as we're likely to get to the Cup this season.
  4. Ball; B A L L, ball.
  5. Why don't you buy Rangers; I'm sure that once the players are all partied out they could do with some R&R in the Caribbean
  6. I think Hutton will get the nod ahead of Faure, in front of the back four.
  7. Not quite, Craig, unless I'm mistaken, they said that the review would be issued before the ST deadline; so they still have 17 days to do that; and rumour has it, it will be next week. Whilst Wallace has shot himself in the foot at least 3 times that I can think of; it would be incredibly stupid of him to miss this deadline; so I can't see that happening.
  8. Pretty sure that will be the line up and I agree with your assessment.
  9. Surely he'll have learned his lesson last weekend and only field fully fit players; SURELY? And SURELY he'll play Smith at LB, Aird on the left and Gallagher on the right, SURELY??
  10. Beating a whole shitload of top teams like Albion Rovers, Berwick Rangers and Stenhousemuir along the way to losing the Final against mighty Raith Rovers; yep, highly impressive. And who have we disposed of to reach the SC Semi Final, amongst others the Lanarkshire duo of Airdrie and those pesky Albion Rovers. Quite a cup run indeed.
  11. Unfortunately buying a season ticket is not like buying a heritable property. I don't know about a legacy but you certainly could create a dynasty if you could sell out the stadium with ST's and create a waiting list. In America "the Green Bay Packers have the most famous waiting list, with more than 105,000 names. This would mean a name placed on the list today would be eligible for season tickets in 955 years. It is a common custom in Green Bay and other Wisconsin cities to put a baby's name on the list as soon as the birth certificate is obtained. Transfer of standing to surviving relatives is permitted by the Packers. The Packers front office tell fans the wait will be for 30 years. A lot of ideas here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NFL_season_ticket_waiting_lists like charging to be on the waiting list. I know it's not what you want; but frankly you're not going to get what you want. It's just not realsistic and the sooner Mr Graham stops peddling that nonsense the better. Just think if we could sell out Ibrox with ST's for next season, perhaps just leaving the corner for visiting fans. I don't know the current rule but I believe in the old SPL the home team had to give the vistors 10% or 15% of the tickets if required; not sure exactly but seem to remember we got 7,000 or so for Parkhead (think the 15% may be in Europe). I wonder what would happen if we went into 2015/16 in the SPFLP auto renewing 48,000 ST's? Isn't that a more laudable objective than starving the club of ST money when it needs it most?
  12. Well he'll certainly look extremely stupid if his plan turns out to be a damp squid and the foundations crumble.
  13. 1) I agree with you on that; I don't like this sending an email with no figures then you have to wait for a letter (mine still hasn't arrived). 2) Already discussed. 3) Agree; somewhere in the region of 21-28 days would have been better. We'll need to stop agreeing or the dinner isn't going to be much fun
  14. Did you just credit the Board with being "clever"; you'll be hanging a banner next.
  15. If you are correct then I would agree with you, it's wrong even if they are doing it because it is the better/cheaper option. Have they by any chance included a statement to those involved saying that we are doing it because we thought you would like to stay on the original scheme but you can of course opt out? It's arguable that they are cutting their own throats by auto renewing the pay direct instalments, because it would be better for the Club for the instalment renewals to go through Zebra as they'll get the money up front; so it is easy for them to argue that it is in your interests to auto renew. If you look at it that way, then you could say that on the one hand the club get the benefit of all the auto renewals but on the other hand it takes longer for them to get the money. Damned if you do, damned if you don't?
  16. Yes that's fair enough FS but would it not take several months to design and organise a new share issue? How quickly would a new issue raise money? Didn't I read somewhere that it was planned for later in the year? It seems the problem is more immediate than that.
  17. What is shaking confidence in the financial position of the Club is the uncertainty caused by statements like that. There is no way this Board will be held to ransom like that and no chance whatsoever of them granting security over our main assets in return for ST money from around 20% of ST holders, which would amount to about £2 million.
  18. It's not probably illegal it IS illegal and anyone who has that happen to them should be able to get an immediate refund. But how do you know that or any for that matter?
  19. That was more than 10 years ago and doesn't have anything to do our current situation. I got a positive result for all travelling fans by ensuring: (a) that if they already had travel insurance, they didn't have to buy more from Rangers and (b) if they did not have travel insurance, they could make their own choice of provider. I used the example solely to illustrate that I am not afraid to challenge the Club as I have done many times over the years. If Rangers fans don't buy ST's in significant numbers the only way the Club can survive the summer is to borrow again on whatever terms it can get.
  20. Sure, I'd like to be able to give Cristobal final numbers by Saturday, which will be two weeks to go.
  21. If you are referring to the Chairman's statement in the accounts then I have quoted it often enough for you to know that I have read it very well; if you are referring to something else then please enlighten me. As to Hearts, I was refering to your use of the word "crooks", which implies criminal activity and is not a word to be used with impunity; nor is "lied" for that matter. Have a nice night.
  22. No worries, guess you haven't been able to persuade your son to join us?
