  1. Any type of win will do at the moment against them. Asking for something better than the 4-2 game earlier in the season would be greedy. Il happily take another Boruc Bludder and 3 points to the Gers.
  2. Cant really comment about that uni but it has a good reputation and thats not a bad wage from it!! Can certainly comment about the town though. Nothing to lose by taking the interview. I always look upon an interview to be the actual one doing the interview regardless what side of the table Im at and if you are the one being interviewed then ask as much questions to show interest and those interviewing will take note - a bit of mind games!! Speaking of the city, just received an offer for my property there this morning which im dwelling on!
  3. yeah i know u were but if 1 team was going to get so close to them this season then its villa. Plus any argument to make sure Liverpool arent going to win the league is all good. Arsenal will beat them on sunday and we have a close top 5
  4. Yip Tonel and Berra would be nice. McCartney from Sunderland?? Would be a good signing for LB. Wages might be a problem. A right back would be good also. Surely there is a few bargains out in the Dutch or German leagues. Pete???? We have to move a few out first.
  5. Villa could certainly break into the top 4 this season, but they are a bit away from being considered in the big 4. Villa do keep on winning, it wouldnt surprise me to see them even finish top 4 this season if they remain consistant. MON has put together a great side and Young and Agbonlahor are just on fire.
  6. And this after being undefeated for 80+ games at home. Shows how things can effect you mentally. Chelsea at home this season: P9 W3 D4 L2 Had Carlton Cole nicked it at the end!!!!!! Just makes it more interesting, thats 2 weeks recently that none of the big 4 have managed to take advantage of the others slipping up. Its a bizarre season so far, but very entertaining.
  7. Never hand ball by Noble. West Ham battle really well and Carlton Cole should have won it in injury time. Told you west ham would get something to make the big 4 not win
  8. Delighted Hamilton didnt win it. Bolt was awesome and despite Phelps 9 golds, Bolt was a pleasure to watch
  9. Just seen this thread for the first time for some reason. Apply for the West Ham one SAlly. That would be a scoop
  10. Thats just superb alone mate!! Nothing like anyone else who would have just went into a newsagent and bought a pack of chewing gum Unlucky on he coupon though, thats just total unluck. Coupons are different these days, ive only wrote out a coupon once or twice in the last few years and last time i was home i did the exact same thing as you - put on 3 homes instead of 3 aways, but this was Will Hills. As Beattie says, Ladbrokes online and phone service is great to use.
  11. Il really need to start listening to you....i cant believe i thought Liverpool to win Arsenal v Liverpool next weekend....OOooomph i cant wait, that will be the Goons right back in the title race.
  12. Woke up at 5am and watched bits of this, at 6:20 i though buggar this and fell asleep at 0-0, then 2 Barca goals came
  13. Fancied Hearts to get something today aswell, they are looking strong. Very good result for us, 2 weekends in a row. Anytime Celtic drop points is good, but dropping points at home is superb.
  14. Shite game anyway, i watched bits of it but slept during most of the 2nd half. Thats Liverpool, Arsenal and Man U all drawing. A few weeks ago the big 4 all failed to score. West Ham are a banker at Chelsea today so it looks like the big 4 wont win again!! Happy days for the Villa
  15. Picked out 9 teams who i thought were pretty much bankers then picked a 4 fold from them who all won: Villa Reading Burnley Wolves Was close to adding Liverpool onto it aswell but as Jon said I am in dreamland sometimes so I didnt bother with them
  16. Yip. We cant win every game but we are dropping far too many points on the road now.
  17. Have you got windows mate or are you locked in a cupboard?? Maybe try opening 1 and have a wee bit of fresh air if you have For what its worth I actually agree with you on McCoist being manager at the moment, and i think most on here do also. The 1 thing i would say IF IF IF Ally became manager is he would benefit to have a good experience assistant with him.
  18. He's right though, 28 is too big a number and hits the wage bill. He did do the right thing and buy first so it didnt leave us short, now he has the hard task of moving players on. I wouldnt be surprised to see Edu being on the list who leaves, seems he hasnt settled. But if he goes along with Hemdani then we would need either a central midfielder or a right sided player to allow Davis to play in the middle. Thomsons injury hit us badly. It will all be speculation until players are moved on.
  19. I think Rangers assistant he would have!! Especially with the CHANCE of becoming boss 1 day.

    Number 9

Why didnt you just PM me if you wanted an argument :box:;) But i agree with you, this (like Tynecastle and Fir Park of late) is another 'test' for Boyd whether he can score in the more difficult games. So far its none this season (did he play at Pittodrie though???) in these so called trickier away ties, but to be fair the partnership with Miller didnt take off until 5 or 6 weeks ago and was interupted for a few games with Millers injury. Agreed since the Burley thing his attitude has improved, if this is what it took to do that then fair enough, its all good for Rangers at the end of the day. Would love him to prove me wrong and blast a couple past Utd today, but whats the chances of WS typically leaving him out or playing him in a 4-5-1!! For me we should stick with Miller and Boyd today.

    Predictions

We are due to give them a hiding, and we will IMO IF IF IF Ferguson and Mendes get there finger out. But il go for this and happily settle for it: Dundee Utd 1 Rangers 2 .........Double for Kenny Miller
  22. Ive always wondered why more managers dont sit in the stands coz you get a far better view. When on the touchlone its quite difficult to follow certain things. My mate has a season ticket in the 2nd row of the East Enclosure and the last few times ive been over I sat with him in there and following the game compared to higher up is a nightmare - the 12 cans of lager before the game makes it a tad more difficult aswell mind you!!
  23. Whats the bets on you and I getting 5 out of 6 every week!!
  24. When i pick say a 6 of 7 fold accumulator of home teams i do pick out 1 or 2 teams from the lower english leagues simply because of the odds of 1/2ish. Its quite a good way actually and shows if your not too greedy then winnings can be made. Im impatient and greedy and never go for a coupon unless its at least 16/1 accumulator. Probably why i dont win!!! I think il have a bash at this and up my stake to maybe 50 quid doubles on 1/2 odds.
  25. Cant blame a keeper for 5 goals, surely the defence takes part of the blame. I always thought moving to Sunderland was a wrong choice as they were never going to be a top side. He should have went to Villa when he had the chance.
