  1. Agreed word for word and thats the team id go with!
  2. Hemdani looks like a student who just wants to read a book. Plus he looks a lot younger there Whittaker looks like he's got Charlie Adam in a headlock in the 2nd picture. Durrant is a bit of a tank aswell is he!!
  3. Nothing worse that 1 team letting you down!!
  4. They are out for sure which is good. There is no way they will win by 2 goals in Spain. Henrys goal was a peach. He doesnt get that freedom in La Liga so wont get many more unless he returns to England. Deco was on the crack before the game saying Celtic are better than Rangers and will give them a better game! Eh dont think so, we almost beat Barca at Ibrox but Celtic were played off the park. Plus how can they be better - In the last 14 months it is Smith 3 Strachan 0.
  5. I knew Boumsong left Juve for France but didnt know it was Lyon, i thought a lower league side. Draws were both fair results for Man U and Arsenal. Lyon were good in the first half and had a few chances in the 2nd also. Man U came into it more and a draw was fair from what I watched. Arsenal started well but Milan were solid enough. Adebyeor should have scored!!! Tough taks for them now but they are capable of a draw in the San Siro and away goals could see them through
  6. From the BBC: 2-2
  7. WS must have snapped the pics Fraser, JCD isnt wearing a jacket, looks like a shirt to me. But who is that standing behind him with the blue jumper on?? Naismith looks about 14 in the top picture and Boyd looks like he is having great fun behind Novo
  8. IN the same way for Albertz and Klos - Spain's loss is Rangers gain. But he is good enough to at least get in the squad.
  9. Lampard and Gattuso in the centre of midfield!!
  10. Consistancy, model professional, skill Overall he'd be top for me. Without doubt in an all time XI. He's a player ive liked and rated since early 90s
  11. Awesome player. Definatly the best in the Premiership has given us for me.
  12. Spending time in the canteen again :fish: Fair play Lamps, quality player and that was a good read, and its nice to hear his support. He's still chunky though
  13. Arsenal v AC Milan Celtic v Barcelona Lyon v Man United The Arsenal game should be a bumper! Ac Milan are 5/2, so worth a punt. Its a tough one to call though. I had to laugh at Gary Caldwells comments yesterday saying McGeady is as good as Barca's stars. If Celtic win its good for the scottish game and I wouldnt care if they did but id also take a bit of pleasure seeing Barca giving them a 3-0 lesson. Lyon are a better side than earlier in the season and will give Man U a tough ride but I fancy Man U to go through.
  14. Once again he adds Buffel and Gow to a european squad. I wonder if he will finally let one of them off the leash to show us what they can do. We are screaming out for them in the team.
  15. Jeez whizz!! When are you retiring from Gersnet?? :uzi:
  16. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/league_of_wales/7253826.stm Just saw this, that means Cardiff take part in the English and Welsh FA cups - how can that work!!! They are going well in the English Championship and in the FA cup quarter finals. Surely there is a legal case for the old firm to use this and get into the English leagues.
  17. It will be interesting to see the line up and if Cousin can play or not. Pana will have to be more cautious due to the fact we can nick an away goal so this could be an advantage and allow us to play slightly further up the park. Ferguson and Hemdani and due storming games after being poor recently and I think they will have blinders to assist us through on the night.
  18. I felt Liverpool were a banker last night. The Italians cant really cope with the pace of English football away from home - that has been the case for a few seasons. If Liverpool go through it shows the Serie A isnt as strong as people make out. Inter are unbeaten all season. The 2nd leg of this one will be good as Inter have to come out and show us what they are made of.

    Predictions

I like your enthusiasm Ian  I'll go for 1-1 which will see us through on away goals
  20. Whats wrong with the owner?? Looks like renting Fir park is costing them !!
  21. What about the coppers though!! The same!
  22. Jon, if we go 4-5-1 how on earth can you come to the conclusion that Boyd should play? He was slightly better on Sunday but only because he came deeper for some flick on's. If he does that when playing himself he is flicking it on for nobody. Cousin is the better option to play upfront on Thursday followed by Novo and Naismith. If boyd stays for the forseeable future I really cant see him getting near McCoists record. I would say 220 tops for Boyd if he stays another 6 seasons.
  23. Same here. Whilst I am proud to be British especially in a foreign country it has nothing to do with Rangers for me. I cant see what the Royals actually do for the country other than dictate what actually goes on in Parliament. Agree with Pete that they should shut the royal doors once the Queen dies, they are becoming a mockery. Pope - No link to him what so ever. UVF - Nothing to do with me. IRA - Terrorists who have went about there "issues" all wrong.
  24. Going on by what I saw on Sunday then yes we probably have missed him. In a 4-5-1 I would prefer Ferguson to sit out with Hemdani and Thomson sitting in the centre. Whoever is the 3rd central guy would be able to play without Ferguson getting on his case all the time. Id actually like to see Novo play right and shift Burke into the role behind the striker seen as Buffel or Gow are never going to get a chance. The position is vital to a 4-5-1 and needs an attack minded player. Burke cant cross a ball so maybe he could slip a few short passes into the striker.
  25. Once again Id play him if he is available. Its pretty likely we will go 4-5-1 over there and he is the only one who can play that role.
