  1. Yeah, this is a good point. Whenever Im at a game its a hole day occassion and i time budget my day to expect to get home later. As Pete said if ur not driving then its a quick pint after the game and allow the crowds to dissolve then enjoy the rest of your day.
  2. Yeah. What i kind of thought was that the majority were immune to knowing about the problems and actually didnt care, and the it was more of a case of Anti Murray crowd v a mass who didnt care. The section in the offical site came as a shock to me for a couple of reasons: 1) Murray still has such big support * and 2) It was a poor piece from the club. * - Im not fully anti-Murray, i kind of sit on the fence when it comes to the football side of things as I dont blame him for recent performances, and he has also delivered Paul Le Guen (a much sought after man). However for management decisions off the park like the Ticket Office and Albion Car Pk etc - I find that he has lost the plot here, but maybe not for personal gain.
  3. I didnt realise Murray had so much support at the moment. My genuine thoughts (from afar) were the majority were not happy with things at the moment. But my thoughts there were probably influencied by reading this website. However, I dont blame Murray for whats happening on the pitch at the moment (to an extent). I think we have a group of players who havent gelled yet and a manager who needs more time to get things right. He also hasnt grasped the countries game yet. However! Had the clubs cash in the past been managed more appropriately then we might not be in the situation of running on a bosman budget. But then that kicks of a debate as to whether people would swap the WS and DA era's where we enjoyed great domestic success and a good few Euro nights. SL and Stan S put up the a fine list of problems that are OFF the park. Now this is a different matter altogether. IMO i find the Ticket Office the biggest farce. I couldnt believe it last time when I picked up tickets from a porta-cabin which was just dumped outside the West Govan Corner. That is embarressing. But change is expected in this world and that includes football. At the moment we are going through a era of change while our rivals are having the better campaigns. Its something we accept and get on with while showing our true support for the club and supporting them through thick and thin. We will be back!!! And TBH i dont think we are in that much of a crisis. If we can make 2nd place in the league and have a good UEFA cup run and add the SFA cup, that isnt bad for a side that is going through the mills at the moment. Stick in bears!!
  4. The win over Dunfermline wasnt the most convincing ever but it ended a terrible week of 2 poor defeats. Looking at the fixture list for the next 4-5 weeks it really is make or break time. We have a chance to take advantage of 2nd place next sunday by going to Tynecastle and winning. After that we have a big away trip to Auxerre where can put ourselves through from the group although i wouldnt call it a must win game. We seem to be fine in the UEFA cup but this will be the toughest test yet and a draw wouldnt be a bad result as we still can beat Partizan at Ibrox. Following that we have a potential banana skin at Falkirk and then we play our bogey side Hibs before the next OF game. Fixtures between now and Mid December: Hearts Away Auxerre Away Klimarnock Home Falkirk Away Hibs Home Partizan Belgrade Home Celtic Home
  5. Im Subway loyal but im glad to say its the Sandwich shop that im loyal to with a 6" Cheese Steak at lunch times!! It is quite annoying see so many getting out there seats around 75-80 mins. I can understand it around 87 mins if the game is over as a contest and someone has a distant journey. After the Molde game recently me and my mate stayed until the final whistle and it took us over an over to get onto the motorway alone from the albion car pk then we had a 3 hr journey north, plus my mate was working next morning at 5am so in this occassion had we left earlier it would have saved us near on an hour and a half and i dont think anyone could have moaned especially since I had drove up from England that morning also. But nobody has a divine right to be made to stay, its up to the individual. But i also think what is on show has a lot to do with it. If we are playing in a 2-2 thriller with chances towards end then people will stay but if its cold and we have wrapped up a 3-0 win over Motherwell then i can understand people wanting home for there supper rather than sit in traffic.
  6. Another great display from Arsenal particularly in the 2nd half. Keeps them in the title hunt with a game in hand but Liverpool are a mess away from home. To think many tipped them to win the league this season. They have went backwards fast. How the hell can Rafa not play Gerrard in centre midfield is mindblowing. The premiership shaping up really nice at the moment with Utd on fire and Chelsea with them and Arsenal coming good also. Man Utd v Chelsea a week on Sunday will be amazing then Chelsea v Arsenal a fortnight after that.
  7. Just wondered why this was actually closed? It had the basis of a decent debate bar a few silly comments. I was looking forward to contributing to this topic with my views but then saw it had been locked. Im sure people can actually have a decent debate without being personal. BTW for the record I didnt realise Murray had so much support at the moment. My genuine thoughts (from afar) were the majority were not happy with things at the moment. But my thoughts there were probably influencied by reading this website. However, I dont blame Murray for whats happening on the pitch at the moment (to an extent). 8. Yes, the next best debate after 9/11, - smoking in public places!. Smokers possibly should have rooms etc to smoke but as long as it doesnt effect the non-smoker. The thing is we are not telling you not to smoke, but we are telling you's not to make us smoke!! Last time i was at Ibrox a few weeks back i went into the toilet in the East Enclosure and was engulfed in a cloud of smoke. Law is law and the law says no smoking in a public place. The police should be fining these people.
  9. Did you's get a wee back hander for that?
  10. But you tell us SHITE!!!! How many NON winners do you need
  11. Gribz

    Allan Smith

See Football room mate! But yeah absolutely but in our dreams i think!! Great player on his day and an England pick IMO ahead of Crouch and Co.
  12. Great piece by Bomber and he hasnt said anything that hasnt been put on here. Interesting that he also says maybe try all 3 centre halfs!!! Does anyone think Le Guen will try this? Im a fan of 3-5-2 as everyone knows and reckon its worth a shout. Only problem is why add a 3rd dumpling when 2 is bad enough!
  13. I kind of assumed they would be nonsense but i dont hear much over this end. I couldnt see PLG quitting without a fight although he has yet to show any fight, but I can see that changing. As for Walter, it would be a mistake as he is already a Gers legend but boy i wouldnt mind him and Archie Knox in the dressing room tomorrow just to install some asskicking before the game.
  14. Ive been saying that someone will get a doing, Dunfermline are as bad a side as there is in the SPL. We may be playing poor stuff but the talent and team IS there to come out and give them a stuffing. C'MON THE BEARS 5-0!!!!
  15. Should be pretty darn interesting
  16. Great idea BTW Barry
  17. Manager Paul Le Guen will leave Rangers of his own accord if results and performances do not improve by Christmas. (Daily Express) Rangers are considering a move to bring Scotland manager Walter Smith back to Ibrox if Paul Le Guen is sacked by Christmas. (The Sun) Im assuming both are nonsense as usual!!?
  18. He is finding it difficult to get some form back after his injury, not sure if cardiff would be the best place for him, that league is tough! Get him to Ibrox please!!!
  19. Dont walk down Harlem with a sign that says "I hate Niggers" - Sorry just watching Die Hard with a vengence and thats what Brucey Willis had to do!!!!
  20. Hopefully we do get some targets in January. Id rather they come in then (even if they were cup-tied) so they could settle for the start of next season. We dont want a repeat of this season where we have to gel new players again.
  21. The thought of Dunfermline at home wouldnt fill with me excitement anyway, however if i had a ticket id still be going. Who knows - we might even give Dunfermline a thumping!!!
  22. I'll be picking a treble from these 5 selections, likely the ones in bold: Everton v Aston Villa - Draw 2/1 Man City v Newcastle - Draw 9/4 Leeds to beat Colchester 11/10 West Ham to win at Middlesboro 9/5 Dundee Utd to beat Kilmarnock 6/4
  23. Glad someone can reply sensibly also and realise that I wasnt being anti BF and just asking the question I thought against Dundee Utd at Ibrox that that was the best id seen Rangers play in years despite the freak result. It really should have been 8-2 that day. Also agree in europe he is a different player and controls games properly!
  24. I cant blame Murray for what we are witnessing on the pitch either at the moment unless he is entering the dressing room and telling them not to look interested on the pitch. They arent motivated, there is no desire or hunger, they look like they dont know each other and there is too much changes week in week out. Had we had Romanov in charge then id be thinking Le Guen isnt picking the team but i think Le Guen still needs time.
  25. Yeah il go with that aswell. There should be someone in the back doing the motivating like Durrant though.
