  1. I think they look crackin'......the away top reminds me of the old Crystal Palace top from years ago...
  2. Just been officially launched.... https://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/rangers-announce-new-hummel-kit/ RANGERS Football Club are today delighted to launch the new Hummel home, away, third and goalkeeper kits for season 2018/19. The new Rangers home kit, the first design by new technical kit supplier Hummel, will be worn by the team for the first time on Friday night for the friendly match against Bury. The home kit jersey will be the traditional Royal Blue colour way with side panels carrying four iconic Hummel chevrons to each side of the jersey. Made from Hummel’s BeeCool performance sports fabric, this classically styled jersey is designed to aid the players in achieving maximum performance on the field, with the jersey’s dark blue vented mesh panels helping to regulate player temperature throughout the game. The Rangers crest on the left chest, as worn, is white raised rubber. The hem of the jersey has red tipping to both sides and this compliments the white under sleeve insert panel and red detailing on the set-in sleeves. The jersey has a sculptured sports neck line with v-cut inset and a red tipped collar trim. The home shorts will be white with two Royal Blue chevrons down the sides and red tipping to the hem. The Rangers crest on the front right panel is again in white raised rubber. The shorts have vented mesh paneling for additional player comfort. The home socks will be black with a red turnover top, the socks have Hummel chevrons in red to the front and the Rangers crest knitted into the sock calf. The stunning new away jersey for Season 2018/19 is white, with a red and Royal Blue diagonal stripe design across the front of the jersey. The jersey has four Hummel chevrons on each sleeve and is finished with red tipping to the raglan sleeves. The away shorts are Royal Blue with two white Hummel chevrons on each side and a raised rubber Rangers crest to the front right side. The socks are white with a red trim with the Rangers crest knitted into the calf in red. Rangers Managing Director, Stewart Robertson said: “We are delighted to showcase our new strips for next season from Hummel and we are sure our supporters will love their design. “We will have more news for supporters on the dates the kits will be available for sale soon. Rangers can also confirm the third kit will be available from October and will be Mandarin Orange and Royal Blue. The Mandarin Orange jersey with matching side panels is finished off with Royal Blue Hummel chevrons and the neckline with Royal Blue rib inserts to the front and back off the neck. The third kit shorts will be Mandarin Orange with two Royal Blue diagonal chevrons to the short sides. The socks are Mandarin Orange with a Royal Blue turnover top, again with the Rangers crest knitted into the sock calf in Royal Blue. There will be three goalkeeper kits this season in Black, Firecracker and Yellow-Black. Allan Vad Nielsen, CEO of Hummel International, said: “We are very pleased at last to be able to unveil Rangers FC kits for season 2018/19. Hummel will produce three bespoke kits each season as well as a range of training wear.
  3. In all honesty, I can see it being a token fee (probably to cover anything outstanding to Cagliari....biggest boost to us will be having a large wage off the bill.
  4. ....and a 1st team regular with a year left on his contract.....£7m should cover it!!!
  5. KM cracking down on Dressing room leaks, somehow now reminds me of Begbie & the "glass" incident in trainspotting....
  6. Would training gear have a full strip Inc. Sponsors??? Most training shots have been different, without 32Red on them.
  7. From todays match against TNS....I would suggest the probably new away/change strip
  8. Interesting line ups: First-half XI: Alnwick, Hodson, Bradley, Katic, John, Halliday, Docherty, Jack, Middleton, Rudden, Atakayi Second-half XI: Alnwick (McCrorie 75’), Tavernier, Goldson, Wilson, Flanagan, McCrorie, Arfield, Murphy, Candeias, Morelos, Windass.
  9. that might be a big IF..... I would like to see someone that can offer more than just a direct strike on goal, and that can also be utilised at corners etc. We certain have players like Tav, Candeias & Alves that have a good shot on them, but sometimes a more subtle, creative touch is required.
  10. today...at some point
  11. One type of player that I think we desperately need is a "dead ball" specialist. At present we have a couple of guys (mainly Tav or Candeias) who can certainly hit a free kick, but as with many aspects of the team, are inconsistent. We could do with someone, either trained internally or brought it, that can regularly threaten the opposition from a free kick/corner situation, offering a variety of deliveries with a high degree of accuracy.
  12. I've got a feeling things might be quite on the transfer front for a couple of weeks....until SG gets to see his players in a "proper" game. I think next weeks game against Bury, will tell SG & MA a lot about what is & isn't needed.
  13. Re. Herrera.... Get him out on loan, with loan club covering 100% wages, if he doesn't was to return to Mexico. That way he either starts banging in the goals & we get a good, confident striker back.....or some team will pay good money to take him (hopefully)
  14. For all the reports about how amazing Broonaldo is, how much interest has been shown in him from anywhere??? With any other player, if they are playing well, rumours start to fly around about different clubs being interested, keeping tabs, scouting them etc. However, I can't recall ANY such rumours or reports about Broonaldo - maybe he's just too good for any other club to be interested???
  15. If Windass does go, then finding someone to replace the 18-goals he scored last season must be a priority.
  16. I say....go down the Jamie Murphy route - 1 year loan, with an agreed price to buy at the end of it. Try before you buy....
  17. I don't believe the players fitness could have increased all that much in such a short space of time - especially within a group of already fit people. What I took from SG's interview/comments was that he had already formed an opinion that the squad were unfit (he'd previously said similar). He's then started working with them & found out that their general fitness levels are higher than he expected. Hopefully he has raised the fitness standards higher & will demand players maintain that standard. IF that is the case, then the teams poorer performances will be more down to mental performance - they can run all days long, but are unable to maintain concentration for 90mins.
  18. Just got tickets for myself, brother & nephew.....my nephews 1st game @ Ibrox.
  19. If it's someone to play alongside Morelos, the key is to identify Freddo's weaker areas ie. in the air, then try to get someone who can complement and balance out his skill set. You then bring in another "all rounder", that can provide backup to both the other players.
  20. Folk will believe what he "writes" simply because they want to believe it - truth of evidence is irrelevant.
  21. It's close enough Couldn't remember exactly where we got him from.
  22. I'd be going back to the Scandinavian market where we got Morelos from.....see whats available
  23. The biggest problem is that there are a lot of folk that follow & believe what he says....
  24. If an attacking player ain't gonna score a lotta goals himself, he better have some pretty damned good assist stats....
