is that not why the wage cap being talked about is a cap on the overall wage budget of 33% of total turnover, as opposed to a cap of say £5k per player.....

IF the BTC result had come out while CW was still in charge (and everything else being equal), who would have been the largest creditor??? Would it still have been HMRC who had the casting vote on the CVA???

possibly by delaying until Jan/Feb, it gives them the chance to see if HMRC are going to appeal the decision. If they do appeal, it throws things back in the air, so business as usual for the SPL...

Never used the Setanta offering.... However, I wouldn't rate the stream as low quality...I would rate it as good, but not great. It's a kinda chicken & egg scenario....we'll upgrade the quality if we get enough subscriptions, but folk don't subscribe due the current quality.....

Teflon coats on, and fully buttoned up!!! If they have any sense they will come out quickly with a statement about the SPL investigation. If handled quickly it would save them a wee bit of face...(don't hold yer breath though...)

Without a doubt..... While it may be true that he hasn't published any articles which clearly state that "Rangers Cheated", I would be certain that he has published plenty of articles which imply (very strongly) that we were cheating....plenty of use of "allegedly", "possibly" and "according to sources..."

The "Small tax case" came to light before Whyte took over. This was a bill for circa £4m I think. RFC admitted the misuse but were challenging the penalties. When Whyte took over, he agreed to pay the small tax bill, but reneged and didn't pay. Why then ran up a further £14m in unpaid PAYE/NI & penalties.

but none of it is connected to the BTC. The BTC decision should only have a bearing on the SPL EBT investigation, nothing else. Administration was directly caused by not paying PAYE/NI, not because of HMRC's investigation.

I subscribe to RangersTV.....I have to say that the stream quality isn't perfect. You really need to sit back from the screen a wee bit. However, I find the quality more than watchable. Would be nice if they could increase the quality....which may be an opton if they get enough subscribers.
