  1. Martins only had a dead leg, he'll be back for their next game.
  2. Coventry have just signed Leon McKenzie, presumably why they cancelled on Novo.
  3. NEWCASTLE United have signed Antoine Sibierski from Manchester City on a one-year contract. The Frenchman, who can play in attack or midfield, arrives at St. James' Park for an undisclosed fee. Sibierski, aged 32, started his career with Lille, and went on to score 17 goals in 97 appearances. He then had a two-year spell at Auxerre, netting eight times in 42 games, and then moved to Nantes in 1998 where he made 50 appearances and scored 17. Sibierski's next port of call was Lens, and in a three-year stint there he bagged 23 goals in 89 games before Kevin Keegan brought him to the Premiership when he swooped to sign him for Manchester City. Sibierski made 92 appearances and scored 11 times in his time in Manchester. The Frenchman has played on three occasions against the Magpies, his first appearance coming in the 4-3 win for United at Gallowgate in October 2004, and he also played in Newcastle's 1-0 win against City in August 2005 as well as the 3-0 win for Manchester City in what turned out to be Graeme Souness' last game in charge in February this year. Sibierski.. crazy signing.
  4. Give Sebo a start in a home game we're expectin to win and give him at least 75 minutes and we'll know a hell of a lot more about him.
  5. It's a bit of cunt this. It's all about knowing people in high places. MSI own half of Corinthians and all the players contracts. MSI also attempted a takeover of West Ham 2 years ago, implying there's someone on the board with West Ham connections, which has also pushed this through. These 2 would easily cost a total of £40m. Believe me, West Ham haven't spent a penny. Oh, and Abrahmovic has a large share in MSI, take that for what you will..
  6. Austria Rangers. Came up with that all by myself, you know..
  7. I love the fact that West Ham clearly haven't spent a penny and got these 2 on permanent deals.
  8. Aye, as well it should. Boro would be mental to sell Downing, and the lad is a Boro boy so don't think he'll be TOO upset at staying.
  9. FM isn't always reliable, mind you. Although the amount of people signed in real life who I first heard of in the game is amazing. Kallstrom, Reyes and so on were all well known to me before they were ever famous.
  10. This is fucking crazy.. they're officially signed.. ON PERMANENT DEALS.
  11. This MSI mob (Media Sports Investments) who own the rights to Corinthians players, attempted a takeover of West Ham 2 years ago, remember. Meaning there's likely a life long Hammer on the board who's helped put this together.
  12. If by FM you mean Football Manager, he's shite in it
  13. It's an official deal, signed and sealed.
  14. That's a fair point infact. Everyone knows the quality they have, but if they don't adapt to the Premiership and what-not, Chelsea and the likes might think twice. Good point Craig-o.
  15. Deal is around £1m aswell, just to throw that out there.
  16. Aye that's true. So made a good profit.
  17. Sky Sports News reporting we've just agreed terms with Papac and he'll sign shortly.
  18. It's the proverbial carrot being dangled in front of United, Arsenal and Chelsea. Corinthians have been planning for ages to loan the pair of them out to a mid-table Premiership side to lure the lieks of Chelsea into spending silly money on them.
  19. If you ask me, getting £950k for Namouchi and Novo isn't bad..
  20. Just been on Sky Sports News that Nacho's away for an undisclosed fee.
  21. Petrov's fee dosen't even cover Gravesen if he takes up the option of a fourth year. Overall, Gravesen will cost £9m if you're including wages. So yeah, they've cost themselves a bit of money, but I suppose if we're sitting here in May with Celtic league champions again and a good run in Europe, they'll quite rightly say it was worth it. I'm not down as such, just someone on here earlier said: "Celtic have signed Jarosik, Gravesen and JVOH, and we're struggling to sign What'sHisName Papac.. sums it up really". A statement I agree with. That said, if our lesser known players deliver us a title.. I won't be complaining.
