System has to change completely I'm guessing. You'd assume he wants to play Prso and Boyd. It's a shame in a way because I'm a huge fan of this system. I'm thinking maybe Hemdani will drop out, with Buffel dropping back a little bit and Prso playing just off Boyd.

    Setanta

Yeah, I don't mind either of them personally, just the principle I guess. Whenever I hear Crocker to this day I still think back to teh days of him screaming "Albeeeeeeeeetz" back in the Sky days.
  4. He's just scored again against Newcastle.

Maybe Brown and Hately will cover the Rangers game tomorrow, you never know. But Lovell taking Scott Booth's role is fine by me in the sense that Booth was awful at it, but what I don't like is the fact that the main commentator and interviewer are now both English.
  6. He just scored against Newcastle there.

    Setanta

Ha, Setanta have recruited Ian Crocker for commentary from Sky. He's the guy who used to commentate on the Old Firm games when they were on Sky.
  8. Was talking to a Celtic fan mate of mine, and he hears that this Venegoor deal is for real, and is a right possibility. Worrying, as Danny said, both of these players are right out of the top drawer, and Venegoor would easily get 30 goals up here.
  9. Only memory I have of Bernard is a 25 yard screamer he almost scored against Porto, apart from that he was awful. We still have the best part of 5 weeks to get these players moved on and bring new ones in, so I'm confident. At this time of year with the season about to start I'm forever forgetting the window stays open a good 4 weeks into the season.
  10. Must admit, wee Charlie must be getting the pish ripped out him for his 2nd photo there. Then he makes up for it by smashing Kevin Nolan's face in the next one.
  11. Must of asked for an African only shot for some reason, dunno.
  12. Dado Prso looked in fine form this afternoon as Rangers played their final match ahead of the big SPL kick off on Sunday. In a game of two halves, Rangers dominated the first 45 minutes, but the visitors came back well after the break to level the match. It marks the end of pre-season for the Ibrox club as their next match will be at Fir Park for the SPL opener. Dado Prso and Nacho Novo were reunited in attack for the first time under Paul Le Guen this afternoon and they didn't disappoint, carving out the opener after eight minutes. Lionel Letizi spotted Novo on his way down the left and the Spaniard sprinted to the corner flag before whipping in a fine cross for Prso to fire home with his second touch. Minutes earlier young defender Antoine Ponroy tested Jussi Jaaskelainen with a header but the Finnish keeper just did enough to keep the effort out. Bolton too sent out a full-strength side for the opening 45 minutes with Kevin Davies, El Hadji Diouf and Ricardo Vaz Te spearheading the frontline. But with 20 minutes gone the Light Blues sliced Allardyce's men apart again and should have doubled their lead. Makhtar N'Diaye fed Novo, who did well to beat the offside trap and he raced into the box, rounded Jaaskelainen to fire goalbound, only for Abdoulaye Faye to slide in and divert for a corner. It was another excellent move and at this stage Gers looked in complete control. The visitors created a half chance when Kevin Nolan found space to meet Quinton Fortune's corner after 26 minutes, but his half-volley fizzed wide. They then created another good opportunity, again from a flag kick and Hunt could only watch as Gavin Rae deflected his shot past the post in 34 minutes. Both sides shuffled their packs at half time but it was Bolton who started the brightest and in the 51st minute drew level through Kevin Davies. The towering striker was perfectly positioned at the back post to meet El-Hadji Diouf's cross and McGregor was helpless to stop his shot. Gavin Rae saved Gers after 67 minutes when he headed Diouf's shot off the line, before Gary Speed then sent an effort crashing off the bar. RANGERS: Letizi (McGregor 45); Ponroy (Hutton 45), Svensson (Rodriguez 72), Pierre-Fanfan, Smith (Adam 45); Namouchi (Sionko58), Rae, Clement, N'Diaye (Hemdani 72); Prso (Boyd 58), Novo (Buffel 58) BOLTON: Jaaskelainen (Al Habsi 33 (Walker 62)); Hunt, Meite (Speed 33), Faye, Fortune, Diouf, Nolan, Haim, Al Tal, Vaz Te, Davies
  13. Well right now I can't see Clement or Hemdani getting forward. I see those 2 sitting in front of the back 4, and letting Sionko and whomever plays on the left really bomb on, with Buffel in the hole linking the midfield to Prso up front.
  14. Clement's more of a pick up the ball and play a pass kind of player. Like Hemdani, only better. So when Barry's back I'm excpecting Clement to do that job and let Barry get forward.
  15. Not happening. Rangers' hopes of landing Arsenal youngster Niklas Bendtner on loan appear to have fizzled out. Ibrox manager Paul Le Guen had enquired about borrowing the Danish youth international for the forthcoming season, which starts at the weekend. But the striker has been taken on the Gunners' pre-season tour of Austria. The 18-year-old arrived at Highbury in July 2005 from FC Copenhagen and made three first team appearances in the Carling Cup last season.
  16. Just a shame there's no Gersnet.net anymore
  17. Aye well I can't sleep so I'm up watching the fucking wrestling. THAT'S sleep deprivation for you.
  18. This getting 19 pages is madness.
