  1. I can only see the Clement pic for some reason?
  2. I don't have a problem with it to be honest, since I get Beattie 8 every time, and don't see the point in getting anything other than a name on it.
  3. The Beatster's a point off 2nd, watch out lads lol.
  4. Beattie

    Clement

Look at him, kitted out in his D & G gear.
  5. Kaka would thrive playing in Spain. Plus if we're honest, I think Italy is the last place anyone wants to be playing right now.
  6. Scottish giants Rangers have reportedly had their approach for Sweden international Johan Elmander rebuffed. Elmander's club Brondby are thought to be looking for a fee in the region of ââ??¬6 million (Ã?£4.2 million) for the striker, a price new Gers boss Paul Le Guen is not willing to pay. Le Guen may now miss out on one of his number one transfer targets, with clubs across Europe interested in the 25-year-old. Premiership side Wigan and Spanish duo Real Sociedad and Real Betis have all been credited with an interest. "We have not received a serious offer, but there has been contact," confirmed Brondby director Per Bjerregaard to BT. Credit: skysports.com Well, this seems to completely go against what Cammy said earlier about Elmander, obviously I hope this report is false, but still. Just when it seemed it was looking up. I know I can't change it, but it pains me seeing Rangers a million miles away from considering paying the likes of Ã?£4m for a player who, in my opinion, will be worth it to someone.
  7. Yeah I'll be shocked if it's anyone other than Terry.
  8. Laughed at. Those cheesy "tribute" videos the BBC and ITV played after their broadcasts yesterday were sickening.
  9. Rangers manager Paul Le Guen would like to sign Brondby striker Johan Elmander and Lyon midfielder Jeremy Clement by the end of next week. Le Guen had already made his interest in Clement public, and he has now confirmed that Elmander, who played for Sweden in the World Cup, is a target. Rangers and Lyon have so far failed to agree a fee for Clement. "I would like to bring Elmander in also, but it is difficult for the same reasons," he told Rangers' website. It has been reported that Brondby are looking for in the region of £4m for Elmander, while Rangers are prepared to offer about £2.5m. Lyon are thought to be asking for £2m for Clement, a price Rangers consider to be excessive, so talks continue. "It is normal to have discussions like these with the club, so we will wait," added Le Guen. "It would be better to have both players straight away. Elmander played in the World Cup and he is fit and I know Clement is fit too so they would be able to go with the team to South Africa. "However the most important thing is to pay the right price." Rangers leave for a pre-season tour of South Africa on 8 July. Meanwhile, Le Guen says two of the trialists currently at the club could win deals if they impress in a closed-doors match against Hamilton Accies on Saturday. French striker Cyril Chapuis and Senegalese midfielder Makhtar N'Diaye, who both played under the Rangers boss at Rennes, will be given 45 minutes to impress. "I know Chapuis and N'Diaye from Rennes when they were great, but that was three or four years ago," added Le Guen. "I want to see what level they are at before I make a decision. We will study them in the game with Hamilton and then I will decide." Save people looking for it :-)
  10. Turns 33 in October. I said I wanted Letizi to be the only signing over 30, and I stand by that.
  11. I jumped from 15th to 2nd today, love it lol.
  12. Aye then PLG said: "I would like to, but at the minute he's too expensive."
  13. Ugh.. PLG saying Clement is too expensive. £1m? Come on..
  14. Gotta love the fact that if Zurawski gets injured Celtic could have a forward line of Hasselbaink and Kenny Miller. Jimmy's past it. He'll do a turn up here, but he won't like the cold nights down at Love Street etc.
  15. Gotta love the lassie getting turned on by the accent. Nothing new to say really, really good to see him sitting there though.
  16. Why are tickets for the Boro pre-season game £20?
  17. I hope you're being sarcastic. Don't fall into that mindset.
  18. Wee Libor nearly getting on the scoresheet there, he did not bad at all when he got on. Quick, nimble feet and got stuck in a few times.
  19. Dortmund also have the highest average attendance in Europe, and with good reason. (By that I don't mean largest ground, but highest actual attendances, as in sell outs most often).
  20. Fuck sake Geo, that hurts. Probably worth noting that Sionko seems to be playing where, left/centre midfield? Haha.. that was hilarious. Muntari trying to get everyone to celebrate with him, not knowing the goal didn't count. A team who could hold their runs would be beating the Czech's by about 6 by now.
