  1. 4-0. Marshall's face is like: "Get me the fuck out of here"
  2. That Miller tackle. Jesus. Lunge with 2 legs wrapped around the cunts hips almost. You know they're in trouble when the commentators are clutching at straws when they're saying: "The saving grace of this tour I suppose is that John Kennedy was here and will be back in full training soon".
  3. AHAHA! Kenny Miller just pole-axed someone and got sent off.
  4. Fine goal there, 2-0. What a fucking awful pre-season this mob are having.
  5. Non-Biased opinion, Celtic have been awful here.
  6. Aye PS CS2 is brilliant, can make some genius stuff. As for sigs, I post on another forum (not Rangers related or anything) and it's this same style, and they have sigs with the option of not seeing them, which would solve your problem Gribz.
  7. Zinedine Zidane has apologised for the headbutt on Italy's Marco Materazzi which earned him a red card in Sunday's World Cup final penalty shoot-out loss. But the France legend did not reveal what Materazzi said, only confirming that it was "very personal" and concerned his mother and his sister. In a French TV interview, Zidane, 34, said: "I want to ask for forgiveness from all the children who watched that. "There was no excuse for it. I want to be open and honest about it." Zidane was sent off for the headbutt to Materazzi's chest in the second period of extra-time in Sunday's final in Berlin. Since the incident, rumours have run rife about what Materazzi said to provoke such a reaction from the Frenchman. There were claims the Italian had called Zidane a "terrorist", but Materazzi denied he had made such a slur. In Tuesday's edition of the Italian newspaper La Gazetta dello Sport, Materazzi said: "It was the kind of insult you will hear dozens of times and just slips out of the ground. "I didn't call Zidane a terrorist and certainly didn't mention his mother." Zidane, who was born and grew up in Marseille, is the son of Algerian immigrants and has suffered taunts about his heritage throughout his football career. But Materazzi added: "I am ignorant, I don't even know what an Islamic terrorist is; my only terrorist is her," he said pointing to his 10-month-old daughter. "I did not bring up Zidane's mother; for me a mother is sacred." After Materazzi's insult, Zidane headbutted Materazzi's chest and was sent off, with Italy going on to win the match 5-3 on penalties. "I held his shirt, for only a few seconds," said Materazzi, who had scored Italy's equaliser after Zidane put France ahead from the penalty spot. "He turned towards me and scoffed at me, looking at me with super arrogance, up and down. "He said 'if you really want my shirt, you can have it later.' It's true, I shot back with an insult." Fifa is to investigate Zidane's sending-off while Fifa president Sepp Blatter has hinted the France star could be stripped of his World Cup best player award. Funnily, Materazza said he didn't talk about his mother, but then went on to say "I didn't know his mother was in hospital. I send her my best". He then also said: "Zidane was my hero"... And an e-mail sent into Sky Sports you have to laugh at.. someone suggesting Zidane should of punched him in the face. He would of been sent off either way and it was his last match anyway.
  8. Aye a Premiership one would be brilliant.
  9. PLG said in his interveiw it was important to keep a core of Scottish based people, not only on the pitch but off it.
  10. Rangers' Fernando Ricksen has been commended for seeking the residential treatment that will see him enter the Sporting Chance Clinic on Monday. The defender will be treated in London for "anger and behavioural management". Clinic chief executive Peter Kay said: "He contacted us several months ago and has got to the stage where he has decided to have residential treatment. "He has embarked on everything up to now with gusto and Rangers must also be commended for supporting the player." Kay had been working with Ricksen for the past six months, but treatment will intensify after the Dutchman was sent home from Rangers' pre-season trip to South Africa. The 29-year-old had an alcohol-fuelled argument with a stewardess on the outward flight. "He cannot equate the person who behaved as he did on the plane with the person he knows he is," said Kay. "Remorse is very much on the menu at the moment. "We are very much interested in working with him on his future and getting him back to playing to the standard he is used to and becoming the man he knows he can be. "At first, he thought one-to-one counselling would support him enough and I travelled up to Scotland on several occasions. "Now this has happened and he has taken the step to get further treatment. "Sometimes these things happen - as tragic and sad as they are - for a reason. "Fernando is in a place where he is full of remorse and regret, but he is also a lighter weight this evening than he has been for the last few weeks." Ricksen will continue his pre-season training at the clinic while undergoing an initial, week-long assessment.
  11. Couldn't believe this when I read it.. World Cup official shot himself Berlin's top World Cup official shot himself in the head just hours after the tournament ended and is now fighting for his life, police say. Juergen Kiessling, 65, was rushed to hospital from his house in Reinickendorf, a suburb of Berlin, after a neighbour heard the shot. The motive for the apparent suicide attempt is not yet clear. German media report that he left two suicide notes - one for his daughter alone, and one for his family. Berlin hosted the World Cup final on Sunday, when fans watched Italy beat France on penalties. Mr Kiessling was known as "Mister WM" (Mr World Cup) by colleagues in Berlin. He was responsible for the hugely successful Fan Mile in Berlin city centre, a concourse where giant screens showed the matches to hundreds of thousands of fans who could not get tickets. The tournament was widely seen as a great success for the host nation.
  12. Couple of newsbits I took from the official site, thought they were interesting. SENEGALESE midfielder Makhtar N'Diaye could be on the way to clinching a contract with Rangers while manager Paul Le Guen continues to search for a striker. Mahktar N'Diaye in action against HamiltonN'Diaye seemed to impress manager Paul Le Guen with his performance in tonight's 4-0 win over Jomo Select, playing most of the match in a central midfield position. Le Guen knows him from old having worked with him at Rennes four years ago and he wants to make sure he is up to the job. The manager said: "It is possible he could win a contract. I thought he did well in the match with Jomo Select. He has been working hard and I will make a decision at the end of the week." Le Guen is still on the hunt for a frontman. He said: "I am still looking for a striker." Wasn't overly chuffed when we took this lad on trial in the first place, but if he's impressing a guy who seemingly has high standards, then fine. As long as he isn't asking for big wages. It would give us decent options in the central midfield position with Fergie, Hemdani, Clement and now him, so it seems. PAUL LE GUEN has revealed that Charlie Adam could have a big future with Rangers after the youngster grabbed three goals in tonight's comfortable 4-0 win over Jomo Select. Adam spent all of last season in the First Division helping St Mirren to the title and his future was unsure. However, Le Guen has involved him heavily in the pre-season programme so far and reckons he could have a role to play in the season ahead. Le Guen, who was generally satisfied with the team performance, said: "Charlie was the man of the match, of course, and I was very pleased with him and his goals. "I know he was on loan last season, but he has talent and he has worked very hard so that is pleasing. He can be a part of my squad for sure. "Overall I felt it was a good performance from the players. They all did well. I was happy with the new players. I knew they would be fine because they are sharp and fit." This I'm happy with. I've always been a fan of wee Charlie, and God knows we need a player with a decent left peg. All being said, it wasn't great opposition he got his hat-trick against, but 3 goals from midfield against anyone is not to be frowned upon.
  13. CHARLIE ADAM was a hat-trick hero in Boksburg tonight as Rangers opened up their South African match tour with a comfortable win over Jomo Select. The young midfielder, who was on loan at St Mirren last season, scored twice in a two-minute period and it was Nacho Novo who set him up on both occasions. Adam, operating on the left side of a four-man midfield, took a great pass from Novo on his chest in 10 minutes after a driving run into the box and fired a right foot shot in off the post. Then in 12 minutes he was sent clear by Novo and rounded the keeper before slotting a left foot shot which actually went through the rather dodgy looking net at the scrappy Boksburg Stadium. And 15 minutes into the second half, the 20-year-old completed a terffic hat-trick when he latched onto a clever Ian Murray back heel and drove a left foot shot into the right corner. Rangers were largely untroubled by the African select side, so it was not the best of games for Paul Le Guen to analyse his back four of Antoine Ponroy, Jose Pierre-Fanfan, Karl Svensson and skipper for the night Ian Murray. The pitch certainly was not the best. There were potholes which Rangers backroom men tried to fill in before kick-off and weeds on the right wing as Rangers attacked in the firsts half. However, it was a decent workout for the likes of Makhtar N'Diaye who is trying to win a contract and played in central midfield beside Jeremy Clement. Le Guen made three changes at half-time, bringing on Thomas Buffel, Gavin Rae and Alan Hutton with Clement, Sionko and Svensson all being rested. And he shook things up again just after Adam grabbed his hat-trick brining on Kris Boyd, Brahim Hemdani and Stevie Smith for Ponroy, Stanger and N'Diaye. Almost inveitably, Boyd got in on the the goal action when he took a pass from Gavin Rae in 68 minutes and hammered a right foot shot high into the net to put Rangers four ahead. Novo should have added a fifth 13 minutes when he was played in perfectly by Adam from the right side but blasted over the bar from only four yards out. All in all it was a satisfacatory night's work, watched by a small band of travelling Rangers fans, but Rangers will clearly have tougher testss when they face Jomo Cosmos on Friday night and then South African champions Sundowns on Sunday afternoon. TEAM:McGregor; Ponroy (Smith 60), Pierre-Fanfan, Svensson (Hutton 45), Murray; Sionko (Rae 45), N'Diaye (Hemdani 60), Clement (Buffel 45), Adam; Stanger (Boyd 60), Novo.
  14. Use Firefox people. Internet Explorer is awful.
  15. Novo set up both of them today. Then in 12 minutes he was sent clear by Novo and rounded the keeper before slotting a left foot shot which actually went through the rather dodgy looking net at the scrappy Boksburg Stadium Haha. RANGERS roared into an early lead in tonight's game with Jomo Select thanks to a Charlie Adam double. 17. Absolutely spot on with everything there Camster. Really loving the pre-match atmosphere building ideas, and the location and set up of the ticket office has also bugged me for a good while.
  18. I know this is a serious matter, but am I the only one who finds the image of Ricksen dancing about a plane in mid-air with a bottle of JD in his hand telling PLG to "shove yer club up yer arse" in a Dutch accent hilarious?
  19. New guys look to be getting on a bit TOO well. Holding hands and all sorts, shocking behaviour. Vut seriously, good to see the new guys there.
