See what you mean mate. I wouldnâ??t accuse any of our youngsters of a bad or unprofessional attitude. They seem to have their heads screwed on right which I think is a reason some of themcould really shine last year.

Everybody stresses they're positive for this to happen which is a good sign. Belil would add major quality to the defense. And Jesus the lad really is big, isn't he.

Unbelievable he was only the 4th to manage Rangers. Shame he had to take over so suddenly and was never really able to adjust in those difficult times facing Septic under Jock Stein. A great Rangers man, RIP.

I guess so. MacLeod seems to have a bit of an injury going on but this will probably work itself out until saturday.

Bit of a surprise Hutton is not on the roster at all, he's getting a lot of praise these days. Anyway, really looking forward to what Moshni can do, he seems like a decent enough defender.

I just read in an interview Ally's philosophy regarding the squad is for every player to know that if they don't perform well, another lad is right behind them to step in. That may explain why (almost) every position seems a bit crowded. Ally's trying to keep the pressure up. I still doubt that doing it at the expense of youngsters who might perform just as well, if not better, is the right way.

I said it in the other thread, but why would you want to sign a 33 year old Miller who is on over 700k a year for the third tier? Ally's talking like Jon Daly is our only striker at this point.

Sounds like their talking business regarding Miller. I just can't make out why exactly we would want him right now.

To be honest, I think nobody would care about a northern European league. Take a second to think about how interesting teams from Holland, Belgium and Scandinavia are when you're not a supporter of those. And I'm quite sure most of these clubs (excepting maybe Ajax, PSV) don't have much of a following anyway.

It is a fair number of competitions and injuries will come. But as somebody surely mentioned before, why not call upon youth and/ or reserve players if needs be instead of signing people who will most likely spend the season on the bench?

Saw a picture of the boys kicking it on a beach or whatever over on Facebook. Jig is bloody fit, probably the fittest I've seen him and this is a lad who's always in outstanding shape.

Luckily, apart from cup competitions and only if we meet Septic, it doesn't matter if we are better than them at this point. To be honest, I don't care. I'll start to worry about this as soon as we draw them in a cup tie. What matters is having the best team in the league we play in and I'm positive that is the case.

Understandable I'd say, he didn't really look too fantastic last year. Sor far nobody's keen to pick him up as far as I know.

I agree, he's very unlikely to have a breakthrough but let's give him a chance. He might just have a good year now.
