  1. It's not often I read a post that makes my skin crawl. Well done.
  2. Ally's contribution in 2012 cannot be overestimated imho, but as for the other two points? We are reduced to speaking about one good performance in three years and one which was matched by in badness by the subsequent performances against Dundee Utd and ICT. My granny could have won those two titles with the resources McCoist had and she died in 2011. Here's a question for you. Can you imagine Ferguson, Morinho or Clough a) singing Karaoke with their players and b) doing it after losing a cup final? The fact that they even went ahead with this meal and party for the players after that game raises serious concerns for me.
  3. aye, but. look, I just can't bring myself to get into a discussion praising TLB any more than I have done already - but I don't think I need to. You can contrast and compare just as well as I can.
  4. this is going to be painful to say, but I think it's time for Ally to move on unless we beat Dundee Utd next week and the reason for my change of heart is as follows: if you can't motivate your team for a cup final, then when can you? Say what you like about the yellow-toothed bigot across the city, but he has got his team motivated week after week for a competition that was won before the first ball was kicked. For me, a staunch supporter of McCoist since he took charge, the next game is about his job. And I still hope to god that he makes me eat my words as he did so often in the 1990s.
  5. Hildy made a good point earlier on and it seems to have been borne out by what the Police have now said; i.e. the stupid wee fannies who thought it was smart to set off pyro have caused this problem. There was never an issue before with surfers and any issue now is not caused by an anti-rangers agenda within the police force - it's something which has only raised its head since halfwit twats decided to copy their timmy friends and start letting off fireworks at football games. btw, der Berliner, keep doing what you're doing, bud: sometimes we need the rational view from afar.
  6. Quite so, Gramps. Some of us were writing html in 1996 and if you tell one of these nappy graduates to run a chkdsk in dos they look at you like a dog that's just been told a joke. He's got a point about Youtube, though. Youtube, Skype and Spotify - can't imagine life without them now.
  7. chuck a salad in there, Yardley, FFS
  8. Clearly, simple mathematics means that being the biggest and best supported club in the country we have a higher number of fannies and fuds than anyone else (except one) - but sometimes I wonder if we're not overrepresented in that respect. Looking a this clown's blog and the replies to it doesn't ease my fears any.
  9. And he's doing sweet bugger all about the situation in Crimea either. And Global Warming? Hasn't lifted a finger. Totally useless so he is.
  10. fuck em. Romanov was more of a maddie than a baddie but their fans were among the loudest when we had our liquidation. Me? I'm looking forward to theirs as if it was Christmas. They should already be in the championship and would be if they and the SFA weren't as corrupt as each other. What they did was more disgraceful than anything we ever did, but they aren't us so they got away with it.
  11. I'll wager the worst thing about it for Mr Kevin Regan was seeing DOB printed after his name.
  12. He would be the first name on my teamsheet every week for one reason and one reason only: fitba is supposed tae be fun! Lest we forget, it's part of the entertainment industry and Moshni is just about the only guy on the park who will bring a smile to people's faces. Granted, the opposition's just as much as ours, but still...
  13. If your idea of entertainment is bungee jumping above a shark infested pool during a lightning storm, then yes, yes he is.
  14. I was about to reply to BH that there was still no evidence that Timmy didn't do it but you beat me to the punch line!
  15. Trust me. It's not. Code either works or doesn't work and would show all (correctly entered) information or none. The 'best' case scenario is that somebody simply selected the wrong option when entering the info. In which case, I think we really have to start looking at the calibre of grannies from Lithuania that are allowed to work at VS. Between you and me though, I think we can leave east European OAPs in peace. We know Timmy did it.
  16. *if*? I think there are two possibilities here. Either it was a middle aged granny from Lithuania, who has never heard of Ibrox or it was Timmy at the wind-up. Which is fine; we'd do the same. But there should also be a risk attached at having a go at us.
  17. We are about one single competent board away from where we need to be and the sooner we get it the better. Until we do, however, any money spent on the team can only be a patch up job and is likely to be money badly spent. We have enough to win the Championship comfortably as it is, so there's no need to spend any more now.
  18. Nothing wrong with the search programme it's just RIRO. Rubbish In, Rubbish Out. Somebody, when entering the information into the database, entered Ibrox as a museum and did not enter it as a football stadium. It's very simple. It's equally simple for the VS database admin to have a look at the logs and find out by whom, or at the very least from whose computer, the faulty data was entered or later edited. VS is a public body, publicly funded and this is clearly a misuse of a public facility for private aims. If VS wants to, there is nothing to stop them finding out who did this and at the very least reprimanding them.
  19. it means that Ally will be getting nothing to spend next season. Which is not a bad thing.
  20. yer gettin yer arse kicked on this one, amms Intellectually, you don't have a leg to stand on, but emotionally, I can't disagree with anything you've said. I don't care if Malky is a Bluenose and a Rangers fan as a kid; he played for them, and it would just be wrong, wrong, wrong to have an ex one of them as our manager.
  21. surely not. Celtic fans are loved wherever they go. Aren't they?
  22. just noticed a wee mistake there. Should it not be 45* ?
