As far as I am aware you can do whatever you like with your own property including shares. If you intend to pay a party a sum of money then I can't see any reason part of that payment couldn't be shares gifted to a specified third party. Edit- what happens to shares when you die? Can they not be left in your will to another?

The shares could be gifted as part of another deal and is nothing to do with C1872. They are just the recipriants of the gift as a sweetener

Has anyone travelled with the TC often? Been once and it was a disgrace, have always travelled and bought tickets on our own. Have seen some terrible treatment of fans when going with the TC like at Auxerre ? Does anyone have good stories of travelling with the official club?

Managed to get two tickets for Thursday there online. Abroad the now and didn't think I would have a chance! Happy days! Hard to see on phone but took 6 tries to find an area with two seats together.

Would again depend on whether we pay for SD's surplus still. SD not selling their stock could cost us more than the profit from our sales even at 75% would be completely counter productive to do so without prior knowledge on how costs are now spread. The fans groups need to hold back and not react to promises and opinions of board members, to take their word for it is not acting in the clubs best interest

Yeah as yourself and bludell say it would make sense that it's been renegotiated too, but after everything I'm taking nothing for granted. The fans groups should stay quiet until answers are known since it could change everything. As said before I'm not sure if SD and his affiliate share holders hold sway over the issue with DK paying going price for everyone's shares but can't help but be severely paranoid when it comes to the club nowadays. To get 75-25 on megastore profits it just makes me think what did we give in return? Here's hoping the costs aspect is fair too but until that is clear think the fans groups and the fans should hold back. Obviously SD and the club will not want to release that info and it will take a bit of force from the fans to get true clarity but we have the power at the end of the day.

the profit percentage is irrelevant if we still have to pay sports direct full retail price for surplus. Especially when they dictate manufacturing levels. The whole profit will easily be wiped out if SD over order by mistake or on purpose. The most important update to the deal has always been the removal of us covering retail price for surplus and SD dictating stock levels at their whim

If we still cover the majority of the costs and therefore the risk at volumes prescribed by SD with us paying full price for surplus then having the majority of the profits is still a poor deal. It tells us nothing really. Can the action against DK where he is to offer the money for shares be dropped at SD and the other affiliated groups request?

Lots of words to say very little. Until percentages are released or leaked personally I will continue to touch zero while SD are present. Boards before have told us it's a great deal and it's turned out to be poor. Tell me how much of the profit from SD sales and how much from our own sales we get and I will decide for myself whether it's good enough or not. Still think the site is the best available frankie. Posters are maybe a bit more argumentative (includes myself) than usual but that's most likely down to the poor season and the last few years rather than the forum. Would like to see a push for more members. Would stick with the quality over quantity mentality with everything but think there is a middle ground to be reached .
