  1. Are you pulling my leg? Are you saying that each member of the board elected, was placed before the other clubs in the same way that the five-way-agreement was democratically placed in front of Rangers for agreement and signature? That kind of democracy?
  2. This absolutely stinks. Gray, Mulraney and Darroch probably exacted the price of a seat on this board for their co-operation. SPFL BOARD MEMBERS Eric Riley (Celtic) Stephen Thompson (Dundee United) Duncan Fraser (Aberdeen) Les Gray (Hamilton) Mike Mulraney (Alloa) Bill Darroch (Stenhousemuir) This absolutely humiliating speech by a Rangers' chairman was probably the price we had to pay to get a full membership. Rangers chief executive Craig Mather said the "best bit of the day" was that his club now had full membership and voting rights, following its associate membership status with the SFL. "I'm very happy," he said. "It's been interesting but we've got there. We've always been active. We continue the road and...be humble." They have slapped us down and told us to toe the line at the same time leaving us under no misapprehension as to who is in control. This no doubt, is the reason we have heard nothing from the board for three weeks or so. Whether this kind of conduct is strategical or not from the biggest club in Scotland, it makes you want to puke. God Almighty, has the board no pride left? Bought and sold for the cabal's gold. Yeeuuuchhh !!
  3. Good on TRS for combating this gnome's selective statements.
  4. Cheers Mr. McLelland, most sensible man in Scottish Football. I think they should vote him in as CEO of the new set-up.
  5. No time left ... Aug. 3 League Cup round 1 Aug. 10 Home to start the league 2, against Brechin.
  6. All away games ... July 7 Brora Rangers July 10 Elgin City July 13 Bristol City July 17 FC Gutersloh 2000 July 20 FC Emmen July 24 Sheffield Wednesday July 27 Ramsden Cup 1st round.
  7. Panic's over ... http://www.heraldscotland.com/mobile/sport/football/still-living-the-hearts-dream.21412214?_=70a314bff9244010fa121a6027fbba7645ee1104 Herald Scotland Home > Sport > Football Still living the Hearts dream Published on 23 June 2013 Stewart Fisher GARY Locke sounded out Ally McCoist about the possibility of bringing Rangers to Tynecastle for a pre-season friendly to raise funds for the cash-strapped Gorgie side. The Ibrox team were unable to oblige as they had already fixed up trips to Bristol and Germany in pre-season – and the Hearts administrators Trevor Birch and Bryan Jackson of BDO are now pursuing alternative glamour opponents – but the story emphasises the manager's willingness to leave no stone unturned in an attempt to make sure his boyhood heroes survive beyond the summer.
  8. Probably the truest statement in the thread. The best idea in the thread.
  9. Improve disabled access.
  10. I was going to say ... ach you know what I was going to say. Why give him the oxygen?
  11. Leave it alone. He is our leader. When he next doesn't win the league in front of him then start whining. WATP.
  12. Here is a link to a long article on the VB site explaining just what the guys had to do to achieve their goal. A test of endurance indeed, well done lads. http://vanguardbears.co.uk/
  13. On the very day that ESC make their announcement they deliberately push the envelope again. Forward this to V.B. , they will know how to take this forward.
  14. Prior The Liar? Posted on June 16, 2013 by thedailyranger This week a new chapter opened in the ongoing circus that is the battle for power within Ibrox. Thursday saw the entry of city â??whizz-kidâ?? genius Kieran Prior in a series of articles from that Rangers loving publication the Daily Record. http://thedailyranger.wordpress.com/
  15. No sir. I have just read the following on the RangersMedia site - . -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- #39 54andcounting 54andcounting Then, now, forever!!! True Blue 3,890 posts Gender:Male Location:Tim free house. Posted Today, 08:34 AM POPULAR Me and another bear on hear but, I pursued it on behalf of all bears as a Vanguard Bear!!! Are you one and the same person? If so, you are the nice one. Very well done indeed. I was serious about telling us how to do this kind of thing. Too many of us, myself included, get discouraged by the frustrating non-answers we get. Again, thank you for the fine work. Now, please arrange for Chris McLaughlan to read the apology in prime time.
  16. Seems a bit soon for that level of cynicism. What drives your concerns?
  17. This is welcome news and great work by the V.B. member. The only thing better than this letter of complaint would be hundreds. Many of us have fallen at what he describes as 'complaint hurdles'. Maybe he could give us a template of how to get around these hurdles to come to a body such as the 'Editorial Standard's Committee'. I am sure there are many in the support who will take heart from this success and renew their efforts to stem the tide of slanted journalism offered by the MSM.
  18. I read that as 'Son of Man' being Peter Lawwell. I guess him and the SFA are interchangeable.
  19. Something to do with greed and corruption I think ...
  20. Another good article, D'Art. Heady and thought provoking.
  21. Why, exactly? I'm not being facetious, I just don't know the Easdales.
  22. Mather or English, who do you believe? We don't know an awful lot about Mather but so far he's done the business as asked with a proper decorum. He's got the players that Ally has asked for and he's keeping the fans informed in a timely manner. I think it's proper that he shows patience in choosing who, when and where to go after our enemies. This is pure speculation by English and is designed to undermine the season ticket drive. This guy is as bad as Jackson and Spiers. There are no more tribunals, title-stripping courts or any other faux charges that they can rail about so he speculates on Mather's motives in a deliberate attempt to hurt the club's ST drive. This really is disgusting journalism. I would like to see JT smack this cretin down.
  23. That's a bit unfair at this stage, is it not?
  24. My friend, I commend you for your unfailing ability to see the best in people. These conditions and terms you speak of will never at this time be considered by the cabal. Neither will there be an offer which will be open to discussion. If any offer is coming it will be a 'take it or leave it' proposition, too late in the year for anything else. I'm afraid that you and I will have to agree to disagree on the character of the people who make up the cabal. Their viscious actions in the past show me that they do not wish to be a partner with us, but rather they wish to dominate us. How could we possibly, in good faith, enter into a contract with these people? They will have to be prepared to admit to the fact that they need us within their ranks as an equal partner, and in my mind that will be as much of an apology or admittance of guilt from them as we are ever likely to see, before we could meet them at the table. They are not yet weak enough to concede that. They tried to kill us, and although business makes strange bedfellows there are limits to which we must be asked to endure. I repeat, until there is change at the top of the SFA, SPL and PGB I would prefer if Rangers maintain their present course. When we feel that we are stronger and of equal strength to the cabal, then maybe ...
