  1. Just got news that my ticket provider has indeed come up with the goods. That's a relief. I was going anyway but it means I can relax a lot more and go to pay my respects at Leppings Lane without that worry hanging over me.
  2. you go first, Gavin - I've still got a potential lead..... oh Ok and I don't use twitter
  3. Well if you see me on here after 8 on Wednesday, you'll know I never got in. Good luck to all others who are trying.
  4. Yes, it is worrying.
  5. I'm running the risk of being at the ground with no ticket. Got a potential source for a ticket but it won't be confirmed until late tomorrow. Tense!
  6. Not so sure about the Ministry of Defence given that John Reid was Secretary of State for Defence then Home Secretary. (Mind boggling that someone who glories in the death of British soldiers held those positions.)
  7. "An open secret" as Billy McBungle called it... But you know what you are asking for won't happen. If we push for it, all that will be reported is that "sick Rangers fans want to drag up child sex abuse scandal to score a petty point"* or words to that effect. The people who control our society and media are firmly entrenched in their view that we are bad and they are good. What either side's fans or team actually does is beside the point for them, they write the story that way as a matter of course. * and there may be a case for that, you know. Child abuse is a terrible thing, the concern should be about that, not about "stripping titles". Though the desire to fight back given the scandalous injustices we've been forced to endure is all but overwhelming, I know.....
  8. I think it ( studio 54) is ticket only pre-match but open to all afterwards. Sorry for lack of certainty am on the move c with patchy connectivity. Oooops I just saw Steve's answer. ...
  9. I'm going to Studio 54, looking forward to it already!
  10. Yep, on the official site too: http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/item/4460-mather-confirmed-ceo?
  11. FT: @ElginCityFC 0:1 @RFC_Official (@FraserAird '62) - Both #Rangers sides looking good. Aird scoring a great individual goal. #GersOnTour 'night all..........
  12. 83 mins now still 1-0
  13. damn it, I went away and we scored '65 - Great chance again for #Rangers as Hutton crossed really well for Daly, whose header just sneaked past the post. 1:0 to Rangers. Great play! 1:0 --- '62 - GOAL! @FraserAird opens the scoring at Borough Briggs! 1:0 to #Rangers Expand
  14. Rangers FC Official ‏@RFC_Official 2m HT: @ElginCityFC 0:0 @RFC_Official - At the half way point it's goalless at Borough Briggs. Some excellent passing by #Rangers. #GersOnTour
  15. official twitter is covering the game: '23 - Excellent period of neat passing from #Rangers! Lots of short, crisp passes brought to a halt as Macleod was brought down. '23 - Smith stepped up to swing in a high, looping ball to the box & it was met by the head of Mohsni, but it landed just wide of the post. Still 0-0; Jig had a fierce freekick saved earlier https://twitter.com/rfc_official
  16. I found this a very odd comment: “Motherwell is only an hour away, but you don’t want to be travelling long distances at that time on a Saturday.” He says Motherwell is only an hour away (therefore a short distance) and so why then mention "long distances" as being undesirable "at that time of night". Also, it is barely out of the afternoon - what is it about early evening on a non-work day that is so off-puttting to motor transport?
  17. I see, got 30, 000 renewals so now back to the circus.
  18. He'll have sold it this way to get future revenue paid partly or fully in advance to pay off current debts. Selling the future down the river to cover up previous mistakes. The buyers get a bundle of cheap shit to fill up schedules till 2022 and the bookies in all countries like that for in play live betting addicts. Their adverts will help the TV companies make an easy profit by the time this deal is over. The game here will get virtually no income in the deals last years. Doncaster will be long gone, caring not a jot that he will have left the game in the grubber and claiming it was not his fault anyway.
  19. Lovely stuff, D'Art. I'm a bit older than you, first game was 66, regular at home and away from 68 onwards. And I want the same as you do - I can't believe David Moyes travelled with you though:sneaky:
  20. Ooops I "agreed" to that forgetting the opening bit re Sky. F+ck them too, as they are in SeniorPartnerinFraudLiewell's corner
  21. Me too but as I am in my mid-Fifties, I'll never see it
  22. We'll never know, but it is certainly the team one would have predicted we would draw.
  23. Sounds like it is going ahead though. Just a bit of brinkmanship at the end for more dosh/less liabilities. Liewell is still going to win, just by fewer goals
  24. You are such a tease - nae wunner I thought you were a burd ;-)
