  1. Knowing our luck he'll turn out great and we'll pay a fortune for him in ten years time.
  2. https://ninetyminutesonline.com/rangers-europa-league-preparations-take-hit-latest-injury-news/ Rangers defender Danny Wilson has a knee injury that will keep him sidelined for around 10 weeks, manager Pedro Caixinha confirmed to the Glasgow Evening Times. The news means that the centre-half will miss the start of the Light Blues’ Europa League campaign, which will commence next month. Caixinha added that Wilson ‘will maybe be back by August’ but his absence will be a blow to their European ambitions, with the first qualifier slated for June 29. The 25-year-old suffered the knock in the win over Partick Thistle earlier this month, but after sitting out matches against Hearts and Aberdeen he returned to the bench for the final day victory at St. Johnstone. However, a scan earlier this week revealed damage to the knee, the latest in a string of fitness issues for Wilson, who made only 22 Scottish Premiership appearances this season. Calf and thigh problems interrupted the first half of his campaign as the Gers ultimately managed only a third-placed finish, nine points adrift of Aberdeen in second and a full 39 behind runaway champions Celtic. Rangers will be looking to close the gap to their Old Firm rivals next term but their cause will not be aided by a long and gruelling term, with the team set to return to pre-season training in less than two weeks time.
  3. In answer to the question. He plays in the SPFL and not even for the champions and only club with significant means (via larceny and false dealings). Ergo, not very good at all.
  4. And "works" is being generous in the extreme.
  5. No idea what to make of this: [tweet]866297590249385984[/tweet]
  6. Looks like officials trying to get Pedro away and that he wants to stay. Perhaps they are worried about the flags and scarves around him....or maybe they just want to get home.
  7. PC with the crowd. Getting mobbed!
  8. That looked like Halliday's goodbye
  9. He's got what it takes....but only occasionally shows it, I recall PC saying he needs people who never give less than a "7"
  10. We were playing really good stuff before their goal. Foster then beats McKay (just on) Confidence=Oxygen
  11. Goaaaaaaaaaaaaal! Well done, Kenny
  12. RTV: "We are not doing too much wrong". Worthy of North Korean news coverage.
  13. Well, yes - but that isn't what PC is saying, he's describing K. as the mainstay
  14. Ah well Rangers TV not letting me log in again. Perhaps it's for the best.............
  15. And circumstances are so important. With all this talk of unbeaten seasons I cast my mind back to a season where I was at every home game (it was another season or two before I did every away game too) and we went to the last game of the league still unbeaten. The standard was so high then that even if we had won we still would have been second in the league. Probably their best team ever and probably, despite all the international stars of later decades, one of the best Rangers' team I've seen (bizarrely I reckon the best to have been the one that somehow lost at Berwick. I mean that I saw live - which came after Baxter's first spell - not just on TV). We lost the last game as it happened which means, I am supposing, the SMSM have not referred to it much, if at all.
  16. Agreed but unfortunately the "if" is a big one. We wouldn't have had him at our club at all were there not doubts about him even before this latest setback - and it was a big one, especially at his age.
  17. From an even smaller pool, I have similar stats (4 out of 6 not renewing). Makes this good news as surprising as it is welcome.......and leaves one hoping that they've got their sums right!
  18. Either that or the statement is somewhat of an overhyped advertising piece that is not paying strict attention to accuracy.
  19. Surely if the season ticket money is going on the squad then someone is paying the bills and running costs............
  20. Agreed but overall we were so far from OK that it was frightening. The first half and the beginning of the second were pure horror. Not only no skill but no heart, no effort. A lot of cowardice and laziness was on display. It was Fod and Miller v them, basically though the youngsters were easily the best of the rest. Some of the others' individual performances were truly deplorable. To say you got a skewed view of the match is putting it very mildly. Well timed, though!
  21. Like GS, I am surprised (given what I'd heard from some pals) and delighted. Brilliant loyalty.
  22. No, we didn't do OK.
  23. Last home game of the season, though. That's usually special. And I feel sorry for Hill not getting any send off at all. I know it's not a big thing in the mountain of worries that we have but I am damn annoyed that they've ended the run of not winning at Ibrox.
