  1. I've seen some mention elsewhere that you will get the chance to renew with the seat that you take for this package. If true, and you get a seat you like, then that's another incentive to pay for this package.
  2. Of course not, I'm surprised too. I would like to see Rangers do what they can to encourage people to buy in bulk. People find excuses not to go when buying individual tickets. Definitely over a full season or, in my case, a number of seasons. Perhaps it is not so when the cost of the card is spread over a few matches. I can't wait for things to be simple again.
  3. I wonder if that costs more to produce or administer.
  4. I will pay a premium to get the same seats for four matches. I will also pay a premium to only make one transaction. I wonder if this package will involve issuing a smart card or just paper tickets.
  5. £85 for four Rangers tickets is a bargain.
  6. Does anyone know if the RST have ever met with the SFA to discuss these issues?
  7. Looks good on desktop and mobile. My only comment would be that the initial page load is very slow.
  8. The O.P. is right that we should challenge what we see to be defamatory. We are best to focus efforts on high profile cases though. It's not feasible to challenge everything. The Kenny Farquharson tweet sums it up for me. Here we have some people who are reported to misbehave in a particular way. The nature of the misbehaviour causes Farquharson to infer that the people must be Rangers fans. We have seen this before when a football manager was attacked by a Hearts supporter. Nicky Campbell wondered if the Hearts supporter may be a Rangers supporter in disguise. Nicky Campbell was challenged and forced to apologise. Presumably he did this because he aspires to better than the lazy question that he asked. He can't be the only one.
  9. Maybe best to say little about what was in it until you can have another look. Either way I don't think that this detail makes a difference to your argument.
  10. I'm not sure that's correct.
  11. Performances in the previous matches only suggest that we had some potential. Potential is useless when it comes to winning matches. If anything the fact that we have unfulfilled potential should damn us even more and prove that we are a worse team. Team sports are about being more than the sum of the parts. We have, mostly, been less than the sum of the parts. As I said before, lets go out and beat them. Winning against Hearts would be a good confidence boost and that will be helpful for the playoffs.
  12. The appropriate response is to beat them in the coming matches.
  13. This will go down well in here.
  14. A great opportunity for me to speak up in favour of zero hour contracts.
  15. What does this mean?
  16. I'm sure that there are many reasons to be sceptical about this news. My initial reaction is to wonder how often it will actually be of use. If a supporters trust is not in a position to buy a club then it is of no use. If a supporters trust is in a position to buy a club then it should/will buy it anyway. I imagine that the most likely consequence of this bill would be to distort the market and make other investors think twice. The key is for supporters to realise the importance of fan ownership. That's, apparently, a difficult lesson for people to learn and the pretence that the government is making fan ownership happen may not help.
  17. Since this is the internet I won't really take any of the rumours, about Lee McCulloch, seriously. With regard to being a negative influence on the team I do think it is plausible. Only because I can remember about how he is great mates with Barry Ferguson. Another player reported to be a negative influence towards the end. But who knows. One thing is clear, we need to move on, from McCulloch, before the start of next season. I can put up with it at the moment when options are limited but there is no possible excuse after the summer.
  18. I'd love to see us move on from McCulloch. I'm not sure that my assessment of McCall hinges on including this one player though. The alternatives, Mohsni & Zaliukas, have both shown themselves to be lacking at various points too. But then again, both were probably playing alongside McCulloch at the time. Perhaps it is time for McGregor and Zaliukas.
  19. This post is incoherent gibberish. The board will have to check any new board member's public profile regardless. That much is obvious now. Given the importance of doing this it makes no sense to relinquish control to a third party.
  20. I hope the RST get a new person on the board. I also hope that the board just appoint that person rather than, as some are calling for, put it to a vote.
  21. To be fair, a picture of the prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and Jar-Jar is somewhat different to suggesting that ethnic cleansing is a solution to anything.
  22. If you want to circulate these claims then I think it would be a good idea to actually provide links to, or screenshots of, said behaviour. I don't follow his tweets closely enough to know if any of this is true. The part highlighted in bold would certainly be the opposite of what I have noticed him say about fans who continue to attend.
  23. Kinning Park, Cessnock and Ibrox have a serious litter problem. It is not the same as the rest of the town, it is worse. It is the result of a number of factors. Firstly the council has other priorities for our money. Secondly, and I've witnessed this to my horror, when the council actually pays people to pick up rubbish those people are not quite zealots. Thirdly, many of the people in these areas don't care about their surroundings. Finally on about 25 days out of 365 a large crowd of people arrive leading to overflowing litter bins and inevitably litter. The stuff about restaurants and retail is a load of rubbish. People will not go there on non match days partly because of what I mention above. I think you had better come to terms with the fact that Ibrox plays a part in the local economy. It provides a low cost area, with good transport links, for people to live in. Instead of coming up with silly ideas about turning Ibrox into a boom town we should, perhaps, just start up a team of volunteers to pick up litter on match days . . .
  24. :hv: I want us to sign Haris Vučkić
  25. This post is a load of rubbish. Most of the fans I speak to barely know who, uh, 'you know whos' [sic] is. Let alone care about any of the associated online drama. Your point about RST memberships is very silly indeed. Why would any public limited company endanger the main source of revenue in such a way? Gibberish.
