  1. I think you'll find myself and Cooper saying the same thing many, many months ago
  2. Had we been building a young team for the past couple of years such a thing might not be necessary. I'm under no illusions that playing any old young players regularly makes them world beaters, but a club of our stature playing in the fourth tier could easily have been building a quality young team with a view to being SPFL challengers in a few years. Mixed in with some more experienced players. Playing football correctly. A Philosophy if you will. Something we have basically just never had in decades.
  3. So because others are raping the club he should do the same? My answer would be quite simple. Because he claims to be one of us. The wage he gets is not remotely correlative to the league we are in or the ability he has. He should be on about a quarter of what he is on, if he's lucky.
  4. I'm 26 and we haven't had a competent CEO in my lifetime that I can recall nor a good board in general so I only hope you are right.
  5. I have never rated McCulloch and I'm not sure what purpose there is in having a 35 year old on high wages in the third tier. he has only looked good in the lower divisions. When he used to play wide left we played the worst football I have ever seen. All we did was punt diagonal balls to him, much like now with Daly through the middle
  6. I read today that Michael Laudrup gets £500k at Swansea. Michael Laudrup of outstanding pedigree who did a good job in La Liga. That is just scary
  7. Oh don't worry, I don't trust Wallace as far as I can throw him and expect him to be dodgy but his previous employment at Man City puts him streets ahead of the dodgers we normally attract
  8. I'm surprised that our inept board attracted Wallace to be honest. It leads me to believe that there are some pretty significant people involved in us. Why they would give fraudsters like the Easdales free reign is anyones guess though. I remember a year or so ago STV found that our largest shareholder was some sort of middle east billionaire. Is he still involved? Did they not establish that he's the main guy behind one of our big nameless investors?
  9. Can't say I watch any Scottish football aside from us but have heard good things about the likes of Jack and Smith and I'd be surprised if any Rangers fans wanted the likes of Peralta instead of them?
  10. We only really have one decent player from our youth development who regularly gets a game - Macleod. Dundee Utd in particular put us to shame. In the past 15 or so years the only youth development players that have stood out for me are Ferguson, McGregor, Hutton and possible Macleod. Ross McCormack is a quality player but we got rid of him.
  11. You trust him? Woah! He might not be a stooge but I'd hold back on trusting anyone for a long time!
  12. Surely being CFO for Man City is a huge credit? I can't really recall any of our previous board members in recent years having something so impressive on their CV. In fact it's a welcome change to have someone with hands on experience of running a football club.
  13. Just wondering if you take away the main investors, what percentage of smaller shareholders eg fans voted for whom? Because surely nobody voted for Stockbridge.
  14. Wallace doesn't look like a stooge to me. Somers on the other hand...
  15. He played 41 times last year, got almost 20 assists. Lacked consistency but was only 17 for the first half of the season. That's a lot younger than the 22/23 sort of age we generally give 'youth' a chance at. This year he barely gets a look in and instead someone who doesn't even play in his position plays there poorly. It's entirely perplexing and the last 6 months of his development can essentially be written off.
  16. Have a look through my post history and you will fine plenty facts. I just refuse to get bogged down in pedantic details when we are discussing something so visibly apparent.
  17. The football we have played under Ally ever since he took control has been appalling. He should be sacked for that alone.
  18. What is your point? Neither side played long balls and neither side were playing in the third tier.
  19. Anyone defending McCoist is literally defending the indefensible. Is it so obvious how inept he is.
  20. I can't really be bothered to respond to each point in this pedantic matter. To me it is really, really simple. We are in a very poor standard, paying far greater wages and we can barely string 2 passes together.
  21. The players you mentioned might challenge for 2nd or 3rd place but they won't challenge Celtic. Most teams in the UK aren't demoted three divisions and given the ideal opportunity to give youth game time with such inferior opposition. Little is almost 25 and didn't get in the team until a year or so ago. He's a good example of why our youth development is so poor. He's only here because we went into admin. Mckay has hardly had a look in this season. Regarding Ally in the SPFL, the standard there is not great no but you seem to be forgetting the fact that we were regularly getting outplayed. The same applied under Walter. So many times in the SPFL in recent years in our games there's been one team trying to play football and it is not us. PS - The team would win nearly every game without a manager on the sidelines such is the gulf in quality. Us beating these teams is like a boxer beating someone who has their hands tied behind their back. The key factor is the standard of football, the development, the grace that we play with and it is all non existent.
  22. Passwords expire now I think
  23. I think more people are taking issue with the dire football, the complete lack of development of youth talent, the lack of any development in the team and the fact that despite spending a lot of money, we're going to have to completely rebuild the squad when we get back to the SPFL. This was the ideal opportunity to build a young exciting side with the correct football played that could hit the ground running in the SPFL. Ally gets off very easily. He is very, very highly paid and is highly incompetent.
