  1. But the 3 of them are directors of the Company? The Company that was supposed to buy the assets? That proves that they were in cahoots prior to liquidation. It would be incredibly naive of you to claim that they were not in cahoots.
  2. Defend him? He made serious cash out of the club and I'm sure he's got thick enough skin to take a few internet barbs. Also, to defend him you'd need to say think that some accusations levelled at Green we're untrue or harsh. Can't see much written on here that is untrue or harsh so why the need to defend him? It was proved that he was in cahoots with Whyte during the worst football administration in history and he oversaw the liquidation of the oldco. That in itself is a damning indictment.
  3. Can't believe STB thinks Green was 'forced' out. He was in cahoots with Whyte and oversaw the liquidation of the oldco. He is still listed as a director of Sevco5088 along with Whyte and Aidan Earley. The guy worked his ticket and earned more from Rangers in 12 months than most of us can dream to earn in 10 life times. He lied to us on multiple occasions and the fact that he is still lauded by some simply beggars belief.
  4. Sounds good, but these past few years have made me wary of getting too excited.
  5. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24204555 3 months into his 1st managerial position and sacked already. Wonder what's next for Davie? Will Moyes try and tempt him to OT in some capacity? Perhaps Ally could tempt him out of retirement, afterall, it's been a while since we were linked with another CB
  6. I wouldn't say 'downsizing' MP is a good idea. Certainly, get the place running more efficiently but downsizing would send out the wrong signals. MP has produced many good players, the problem is that 9/10, we don't benefit from the sales as either, we've let them go at a fraction of the price that their sold for a few years later or they walk out on a Bosman. Rangers have produced, Steven Dobie, Chris Burke, Allan McGregor, Gary McKenzie, Alan Hutton who are all playing at decent levels, Hutton stands out as the only one we got decent dough for. Not to mention the tens of other players all still playing in the lower echelons of the UK leagues. Nowadays, we've produced Macleod and Crawford, 2 guys who look like they've got a decent chance, we've got Storey and Hardie in the 16's who look exciting. If anything, the budget at MP should be ringfenced as it's more important than ever that we get the youth part working properly.
  7. Echo the sentiments above, good luck, Archie.
  8. Oh weel Peat, eye wiz going two opher too right the Rbroath gaym but ewe beet me two it. May bee nixt tyme
  9. I thought of Durrant too, but even he didn't have the repertoire of goals that Macleod has at is disposal.
  10. As I said on the match thread: Lewis MacLeod, this boy just gets more and more impressive every week. Tidy enough in midfield but what really excites me is his goals. When have we ever had a midfielder capable of scoring the variety of goals that Lewis is capable of?
  11. If people are still backing these guys, then God help us.
  12. Someone has obviously hacked Shaun's twitter account.
  13. Well, I've been taking my 7yo to Ibrox for the last 2 seasons and am dreading having to explain to him what half of the shit that the fans sing is actually about. I cast jealous eyes to the fans of English clubs like Newcastle, and their away days adventures and remember the excitement I experienced when I was younger about travelling to Dens or Tynecastle. I enjoyed it until the fat bastards at the back of the bus started singing shitty Irish songs. Then I look at the Geordies or Man U fans and how they go to the football and sing football songs. It's a sad reflection of our fans that in the year 2013, we are still singing about Bobby Sands, the IRA, the YCV, Derry's walls etc. It's even sadder that in times when our club has been on it's knees for 2/3 years, some fans continue to give wankers like George Galloway the ammunition to discredit our fans on Twitter and give haters the opportunity to write stuff that shifts focus from our real desire to remove the Board. As I said previously, the fans and in particular, the guys in BF1 need to box clever and outsmart the journos.
  14. Jeebus! What a pile of melodramatic crap. I certainly don't see a correlation between depression hit 1930's Germany and their desire to blame the Boogeyman for all their ills, and how singing non-football related songs about some selfish Irish terrorist starving himself to death! I don't see a connection at all. If we stop singing offensive, non-football related songs, then these headlines become a thing of the past. They can't criticise us for singing offensive songs if the songs are not offensive.
  15. Do the figures include this season's 'Season tickets'?
