  1. I'm just pissed that once again, through the singing of rubbish songs that are dire, that WE have allowed some agenda driven hack to sidetrack our fans protest against our incompetent and corrupt board. We can squeal and moan all we like, but until our fans stop singing rubbish non-Rangers songs then these hate-filled 'journalists' will always stoke the 'sectarian' flames to score virtual points on Twitter. Our fans need to up their game severely if we are to win these battles. Going to watch the Breaking Bad finale now so apologies if I don't reply tonight.
  2. Missed the game yesterday but can't say that I disagree that these songs should not be sung at our ground. Although disappointed that AGAIN we're getting a bad press, I have long argued that our fans shouldn't sing songs that are not football related or deemed to be offensive.
  3. I don't see an Irish Catholic 'community' per se, I tend to think that 95% of people in this country get on with each other regardless of their ethnicity. I've lived in and around Glasgow my whole life and can honestly say that I don't think the city is blighted by religious bigotry. Sure, there are a few idiots on both sides who want to exploit 'religion' for their own agendas, but they are few and far between, IMO. I tend not to get het up with all the religious on-line rubbish either. I tell myself (for sanity) that a good percentage of internet users are trolls/WUMs who take on 'rolls' to wind-up their polar opposites, or for self-esteem purposes. When I signed up to use the internet, I vowed to act and say the same things on the internet as I would in the real world, hence I'm also a boring bastard in the flesh...
  4. Rangers travel to Station Park today to take on Forfar Athletic in SPFL 1. Station Park was named after the Train Station that formerly served the town which was in close proximity to football field before being axed as part of the Beeching railway review in the 60's. Now, rather ironically, Station park is now one of the furthest away football grounds to be served by a railway station, beaten into 2nd place by Peterhead.
  5. No, Rangers had a 70-odd rating on my Credit rating site last week, 100 being excellent - 0 being rubbish. It doesn't actually count for anything what your Company rating is, it's just a gauge for suppliers to measure risks, but when your rating has been suspended, it's more of an indication of a failing to follow Company legislation. Again, it's easily fixed, just file a proper Return, but in the tangled web off Rangers boardroom woes, it could be an indication that someone is hiding something.
  6. Every 12 months or so, a Company needs to submit a document (Return) to Companies House outlining Directors, major stakeholder, Trading address etc. The Company failed to submit a Return which satisfied Companies House, meaning that some required information was omitted from the Return.

  8. Gutted tbh. Could've done with another defender.…
  9. Charles Green is STILL a director of Sevco 5088, along with the Shyster and Aiden Eardley.
  10. Rangers Credit Rating has been suspended according to my Credit rating provider.
  11. I assume, perhaps wrongly, that the "YCV" is one and in that particular song, there is a line about the IRA. Another unfortunate addition to the group is the presence of an Orange Order flag. As you say, completely exclusionary.
  12. This is true, I cringe when I hear some of the tunes coming from the UB/TBO, especially when, from my vantage point, most of the guys appear to be 16yo. Which is especially disappointing considering that 90% of the tunes that they've come up with are catchy and non-offensive in any way. But the other 10% of tunes, coupled with political slogans and songs glorifying terrorist organisations disappoints me.
  13. I started working AFTER 9IAR, and most non OF fans were Rangers friendly. I am based in Glasgow nowadays so can't accurately gauge the opinion of east coasters, Highlanders now so things might've changed.
  14. Are Rangers fans so unaware of their image that they allow themselves to behave in a deplorable manner within their home-towns and cities throughout Scotland? Just can't see it. What I do see is a concerted campaign by certain media pundits to paint Rangers fans in a bad light as often as possible. This has been going on for years IMO, hence why I stopped buying papers a long time ago.
  15. I just find the whole anti-Rangers thing in the media to be so bizarre. I've worked throughout Scotland, and always found that 'most' non OF fans hated both clubs equally, and if they preferred one of the sides, it was Rangers due to the Tim Irish thing. But within the media, and specifically, Spence and Cosgrove, these guys seem to hate Rangers more than they support their own sides. WTF has gone on?
  16. As I said on the match-thread, the balance of the side was all wrong, hence why we struggled for so long to break them down. My negative McCoist analysis had slipped off the radar of late with a series of convincing wins and decent performances, but yesterday was like last season all over. In saying that, McCoist won't know what his best team is until they all have a spell playing in the same side, but as other say, Faure is never a RB, Peralta doesn't look like a RW, Little isn't a LW. If McCoist can't see that then he's on a hiding to nothing I'm afraid.
  17. Wonder how much Simonsen is on? It's embarrassing seeing us operate on such a grand scale to climb out of the 3rd tier of Scottish football. Surely, if Bell got injured, then it's the IDEAL opportunity to blood a youngster, Gallacher/Smith/Kelly ? What kind of message does it send to these guys? The old line of needing experience to win titles is moot in these divisions. I honestly think we'll be in admin for Christmas, they'll sell the stadium and lease it back and sell Murray Park.
  18. Fergie had these issues when he first went to Man Utd. Guys like McGrath, Hughes, Whiteside were all flexing their diddies when Fergie first tried to control the dressing room and he had to overcome that.
  19. I'll support Scotland no matter what, same with Rangers, though the uberfans on both sides infuriate me. I just like watching the football and can't be bothered with all the political garbage which ruins the fun. It's a game of football, nothing else.
