  2. 2 excellent goals. lots of poachers goals https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1VtdATJt4Y
  3. I didn't dismiss him, just gave my memory of him. His work rate wasn't great until later in his career. He was criticized by lots of fans for work rate. The type of goals he scored is similar to Boyd/any poacher you wish to name. As a player he wasn't great. Hateley, Mols, De Boer, all better players. He did struggle at higher level ( champions league ) My memories of him are also of being our top tim slayer, record goal scorer, prolific trophy winner, a huge playing asset for over a decade, an excellent ambassador for our club, a true blue & if he had left us in his prime I would've been gutted.
  4. He was a better player than Boyd. Work rate was miles better than Boyd, types of goals they scored was similar.
  5. I'm 42 I remember him as a poacher. A bit like Boyd. Great goal scorer for us in Scotland. Struggled at a higher level. He became a better player when he turned 30.

  11. % chance of Palace hiring Ally? Zero %.
  12. Ronnie MacKay @RonnieMacKay · 5h As much as I detest abuse to fellow journalists, has to be said Roy, Phil and Angela are clearly in cahoots. Propaganda/agendas at its best. Ronnie MacKay @RonnieMacKay · 5h It is all orchestrated between the three - deliberately antagonise for their own agenda - primarily to sell a book. Not professional at all. Ronnie MacKay @RonnieMacKay · 5h You can criticise SMSM all you like but at least the majority don't deliberately antagonise to get a reaction with unprofessional behaviour. Ronnie MacKay @RonnieMacKay · 5h And the fact one holds a high position in the NUJ....he should be struck off for his antagonism and behaviour. Ronnie MacKay @RonnieMacKay · 5h I don't have a problem with others uncovering stories....it's the behaviour, the orchestrated propaganda, the antagonism to generate a story For the guys that don't have twitter, the guy writes for the Sun.
  13. Thinker I accept that threw history the parties in power have done good. It's just in my lifetime I remember the spectacularly bad, that can't be undone. I feel that threw independence we get a chance to start again. Bluedell, The level of debate from both sides has been poor. As for the book? Not for me thanks.
  14. Juancornetto I do live in hope. Hope the article interests you : http://www.scotsman.com/news/politics/top-stories/scottish-independence-no-chance-for-yes-silver-1-3042233 Maybe if England had won the World cup...
  15. Thinker, if the question of independence had never been asked in my lifetime, it wouldn't have bothered me. I'm 42, so I've seen in my opinion the tories & labour have a go & both made an arse of it. Lib dems have looked week since the coalition, so who do I vote for now? Only answer is to either abstain or vote for independence. I've chosen independence. Again only my opinion but I feel it's a moot point as I think the vote will be approximately 60-40 to maintain the union. I agree with you & American philosopher Dan Dennett point that "how religions in many cases offer a gold-plated excuse to stop thinking"
  16. I'm voting for independence. I'm not a Protestant, ( atheist ) I'm not a Loyalist. I don't care about any royal family. I just love my team. I don't connect politics and football.
  17. If this is an attempt at humour, it's failed.
  18. I am disabled and I rent a private house, I got insulation and a new boiler, give me a shout if i can help.
  19. You're right. I believe that we need to starve out the board/faceless investors asap. I accept the risks involved in this way of thinking, but to me they outweigh the status quo.
  20. Thanks for having a look, i'll try the Herald website, i'm banned fae ff so can't look there. Hut a paywall...
