  1. I am well aware of his "just raising...." excuse, but that particular poster has been pushing the pro-Ashley agenda, not that I would have expected you to notice. In light of your less than stellar performance when it comes to calling things right, I will ignore your advice on how I should post. Cheers.
  2. That's correct, I did on a specific point. If you want to discuss that, do it in the thread that I did it in instead of trying to muddy the waters here. What perspective I have on things is neither here nor there in connection to the post you have just quoted. Were you having these club v company discussions prior to administration? It's a simple question.
  3. No, no and thrice no. The insistence that they be placed on the board is where 'influencing the administration....' comes in. You were told that and you still try to deflect the heat away from Ashley's actions by introducing Laxey into the mix. If you have reservations regarding Crichton's appointment, report it to the Compliance Officer.
  4. I never hearn one mention of club v company prior to administration coming about. There was no distinction, we were The Rangers. Perhaps I didn't mix in the right circles.
  5. The honours are all intact, both in the history books and, more importantly, in all our memory banks, thanks, by all accounts, to McCoist arguing against any removal. The five way agreement was something which should never have been accepted, in any of it's forms, but Green was in such a hurry to rake in the cash that he took it on the chin.
  6. I have always considered the club/company argument to be an irrelevance which took on far greater importance due to the petty squabbling between Rangers fans and those of other clubs, mainly Celtic, and it still goes on to this day. The old company 'died' in a purely legal sense, that is a given, but I defy anyone to argue that the club today is the same one which held us all tightly in it's vice-like grip from our very first game - it is now an empty husk. Ultimately, all that time, money, energy and anguish spent arguing was for nothing other than a bit of oneupmanship for those with 'Celtic mates' as the legal toing and froing continues unabated and the Greens, Ashleys and Irvines of this world continue to use it as a sideshow to hide all their evil plans behind.
  7. Don't know the basis for the claim over the fine, but I don't think that those two areas are connected. Wasn't there a specific rule which related to prize money being withheld in order to pay debts to other clubs?
  8. You have lost me now. I was merely explaining where the phrase originated.
  9. No, bare knuckle is far more brutal.
  10. Have a word with yourself.
  11. If they are losing money hand over fist there will come a time where it just won't be worth their while.
  12. Hits coming in from all directions!
  13. Even I know that he was a centre back and I don't even play Football Manager.
  14. He doesn't need to be in control, only influence what goes on. I even provided you with, and highlighted, the relevant points. Anything or anyone which can damage the chances of that lot continuing to rape the club is OK with me, and I won't apologise for that. You are displaying the type of siege mentality that was mentioned as soon as this was announced. Jack will be over the moon.
  15. We already have an ex-player, assistant manager who didn't go out and learn his trade elsewhere. GvB is in the same boat as McCoist. Can you find anything on fixtures played by Netherlands B? Laudrup has no background in management whatsoever and I can't believe that is because the opportunity never arose. In saying all that, no appointment carries a cast-iron guarantee.
  16. I put it down to poor tactics in their battle against the board. Engaging in spin invariably leads to problems further down the track, even with the experience of Irvine behind them, the board have found that out.
