  1. Yes, he has hung up his boots.
  2. Not to me. Does Craig Houston winning an election of SoS supporters make him any more qualified to speak to members of the Board than he is at present?
  3. I don't think that anyone is under the illusion that the fan board can do that anyway. Being naive for a minute, it is there to give the support a voice on what changes will bring about a better experience when attending matches. If better football is required, the board are the ones tasked with bringing that about, by whatever means they deem correct. In reality it is a talking shop masquerading as something which carries much importance.
  4. I agree with you. Truly good players are able to play well anywhere on the pitch. The 'out of position' mantra is used by supporters in order to cover up the technical deficiencies of a favoured player.
  5. Matters involving the manager are ultimately the responsibility of the board. Getting McCoist in for a selfie session followed by tea and banter isn't what most would class as a priority. Even if it was all done professionally, he is hardly going to dramatically alter his whole footballing philosophy on the say so of a dozen supporters.
  6. I flew to Belfast recently and I didn't even need to print anything off. They simply scan your phone at the gate. I agree with Frankie's take on why this is still happening.
  7. We're singing from the same hymn sheet here, but a poor business history counts for little when put against Whyte showing, fraudulently, proof of funds for the purchase. Sir David Murray was most certainly guilty of turning a blind eye to things, which with the way things turned out, is something that his ego will have to live with.
  8. I'm well aware of what AJ & co had to say about him, I even know where I was when the news broke, but it made no difference whatsoever. I also remember the abuse they took for daring to say such a thing. There was a swell of support for 'the saviour', much like there is in certain quarters for our latest billionaire benefactor. If the SFA had blocked Whyte's purchase without providing clear proof of wrongdoing, they would have been pilloried for it.
  9. On the side of Mark Daly. Oooh! The main problem was that the SFA had a disclosure policy which was based on bad guys dropping themselves in it by telling the truth. Once Whyte was in, he fought tooth and nail to keep everything covered up. Who were the SFA taking orders from, Rab?
  10. What are you on about? My reply wasn't to you, so get back in your box.
  11. Surprisingly, he kept it quiet. The BBC uncovered the truth in the October, with Whyte putting his hands up over a month later, after threatening court action. I would put money on you being one of those who was cheering him on from the sidelines against the Bheeb(sic).
  12. David Icke called and asked if he could have his thread back.
  13. Good points.
  14. To me, Hearts have made a conscious decision to bow out early in all the cups in order to fully target their limited resources towards winning promotion at the first attempt. Of course, I wouldn't expect them to admit to such a thing publicly.
  15. Five all SPL ties.
  16. Hearts v Celtic will be the plum tie.
  17. Kilmarnock at Ibrox.
  18. When I saw the announcement, I just assumed that someone else was getting the position of CEO, but after reading what BH said, I thought that it must have been another one of these market stipulations. Now I'm confused.
  19. Is he one of the Newcastle players rumoured to be coming on loan in January?
