I think it’s far far too early to say if the Beale appointment was lazy. In fact, I’d say aside from the cup final defeat, he’s done a decent job turning round the squad. Mistakes have been made, and there is much to improve, but a lot of criticism is because Celtic have been relentless, rather than because we’ve been poor.

This one will take a little while to get over. A missed opportunity to lay down a marker for the rest of the season, put them under a little bit of pressure and see if any cracks develop. Yeah seemed like he was deliberately keeping his cards close to his chest. Still a worry though.

Raskin for me. Though could have gone for Cantwell, Tav or Kamara who I thought were all solid.

No issue with the concept, each to their own if there’s demand for it. But for me it’s not a priority till we complete the disabled facility upgrades.

It’s also encouraging to see a little bit of competition being added to the squad having a motivating impact. But most pleasing is having a manager who is clearly coaching and communicating very well, as well as adapting our system to suit the squad.

Yeah on quick reflection Kamara was the most consistent throughout the game. Getting forward and starting to show more confidence on the ball. His anticipation can be a secret weapon in our attack.

Best performance of the season. Weathered their storm second half. Reasserted our presence and rode our comfortable winners. Tonight’s MOTM award could have gone to a few.

Hearts 1 - 3 Rangers FGS Cantwell

The issue with Raskin it seems to me is that Standard Liege seem intent on getting rid of him this window... so if we want him, its a case of doing the deal now, or not at all.

Visited the downstairs bit of shop and fan zone post match… ideal for killing a bit of time instead of queuing for the subway. Decent space and will be great for taking kids pre match I reckon.
