  1. My recently-released-from-the-Championship wishlist: Sam Johnstone (GK) Alfie Mawson (CB) Yann Dhanda (#10) Izzy Brown (#10) John Swift (#8) Alen Halilovic (#10) Charlie Austin (ST) Jean Michael Seri (#6) Aapo Halme (CB)
  2. I really want to see Lewis Mayo get a shot. He played a lot of games for Partick last season.
  3. Yes, he's dependable. I agree that that's not a bad move.
  4. We'll just close this thread. We can all agree that Bassey is a beast!
  5. FFS, Hamburg... I watched the last minutes tick by. With around 6-7 bodies in the box, their wingers, rather than whipping it in, kept trying and failing to beat their man.
  6. But he'd only just come to by the Monday, so...
  7. From what I see, he's only played against Liverpool once, in the FA Cup, against their second string... He was phenomenal against Man City and Arsenal, if I recall correctly? But it was only a couple of games, through necessity. I know he's a good player - you don't need to sell him. I just don't want him on loan. I would take him on a permanent, though.
  8. I think he's been rather inconsistent at Norwich, when I would've expected him to be a regular starter. He's spent a third of the time on the bench. He might just suit a better team, though. I stand by my point: I don't want him on a loan. (I would bite your hand off for him on a permanent deal, though.)
  9. We just need @Bill to christen it with a 'bah humbug'!
  10. Aston Villa agree deal with Kamara! Boubacar Kamara from Marseille
  11. You had 2-0 initially, didn't you?
  12. In all seriousness, I would sell Bassey. We keep missing opportunities to sell.
  13. Ramsey wrote on Instagram: “To the blue sea of Ibrox- I want to thank you all for your overwhelming support through the highs and lows. You are some of the most passionate fans I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and playing for. Once a Ranger always a Ranger.” In another post, he wrote: “A nice way to finish the season especially after the big disappointment Wednesday. Thank you to everyone for making me feel so welcome. It’s been an incredible few months and I’m proud to be a small part of this clubs rich history. Thank you Rangers.”
  14. According to Transfermrkt, Simms' Everton contract expires Jun 30, 2024. I've jumped the gun, there.
  15. Oh. He's p*sh! Who's wanting him?
  16. Running onto the pitch, though? Tin pot.
  17. I can't stand Citeh, so I wanted them to lose it. It's not my team, though, so meh. Stevie has slipped up again - I take a wee bit a pleasure in that, but I don't know why... I'm pleased to see Leeds stay up. And Burnley going down pleases me. I'm quite sad, eh?
  18. I find it unlikely that we could ever get Gilmour on a permanent deal, but if so, I'm all for it. (Like I've said, though, I did think the Ramsey move was highly unlikely...) I think Simms only played in the last couple of games against us. Yes, about 1 goal in 3/4 games? He's not prolific. But he looks like a good physical presence with a bit of pace. And, he's only 21. I'm just saying, I wouldn't mind picking him up on a free. It would give us a physical presence up front.
  19. Yes, I'll concede that, but the point was that I'd rather sign a 'youngster' (actually--I do feel Simms is a more developed player, physically) permanently than get a youngster on loan. I'm not making the suggestion of signing him based on just one game: he's had a good season. Like I said, by many accounts, he's been one of the best players in the league this season. I wouldn't say no to snapping him up on a free.
  20. I'm not suggesting he'd replace Morelos, but by many accounts he's been one of the best players in the league this season. He'd be an ideal target man; he's really powerful - he won everything yesterday - for only 21 years old. It's a type of player we don't have. I'd much rather snap him up on a free than get Gilmour on loan.
