And your a little ray of sunshine Who am I knocking? If Danilo is fit, why isn't he getting minutes? If he's not fit why is he taking a place on the bench? If he needs minutes, why isn't he featuring for the B Team? Those are relevant questions, not whining. We have 1 fit striker, if he keels over tomorrow night (God forbid) we'll need to throw Danilo into the fray. Clearly unfit and not ready. Not whining, just the facts as they are.

Hypothetical but not unlikely. Also doesn't give Clement room for rotation that he likes. Criminal if we go into this season with just 1 fit striker (Dessers or otherwise), 1 who is struggling to recover from an injury and 1 that is a complete unknown (and is yet, not fit).

And if Dessers replacement (or Dessers for that matter) gets injured?

So we go into a (hopefully) 60+ game season with a player you say may never fully recover, an untried player and an unknown Dessers replacement?

£5M was the rumoured fee.

In the days of 2 subs, Ian Durrant was on the bench as a selected sub? Really? He was around the matchday squad but as far as I can remember, he wasn't on the bench (as a usable sub).

So in conclusion, another reason NOT to sell Dessers (our only fit striker).

Heard there was a few issues on Saturday with both QR codes and paper tickets. Seems to be mostly "reprints". I used a paper ticket with and know most on our bus used QR codes and only 1 had a problem.

Durrant also played in the reserves - went and seen him play at Bathgate and Ibrox. And deny us a sub? I'd rather have a fit player in bench.

Why continually pick him as an unused sub? If he isn't fit, don't pick him. If he needs match fitness play him in B Team.

Some of the stat gurus will be able to confirm but the vast majority of his goals have been "important" goals like 1st goals, equalisers and winners. He is continuing that this season; equaliser on Tuesday and 1st goal in Saturday.

Cifuentes loan with obligation to buy looks likely to be sealed soon. We are paying a % of his wages this season but worth it as we'll receive a fee for him. Cantwell is back training with the 1st squad after being relegated to B Team. Anyone's guess what that means regarding his short-term future. Hagi said himself that he is only on his 2nd week of pre-season so miles behind. Played for B Team at weekend and scored a hat-trick. Unsure if the interest in him is real or just a figment of his agents imagination. Only time will tell what will happen with Cantwell and Hagi - still leaves players like Davies, Tav, Ridvan, Lawrence, Dowell, Matondo, Wright etc that we could be doing with moving on / replacing.

They're ten-a-penny apparently.

I'm sure the manager indicated that at a recent press conference. Said targets were dependent in if we are in CL or EL (we have targets for either scenarios).

As does Mr Clement apparently - zero minutes in competitive games and not even a run out for the B Team.

I was being sarcastic. We can sign Shankland on a free in January, why spend anything close to £4M on him now? Not as if clubs are queuing up to buy him.

I think we take £4M for Dessers and buy Shankland from Hearts. Problems solved - CL qualification and SPFL title secured. 👌

Or keep him, he scores the goals that get us to CL and £4.2M is a "drop in the ocean".... "£5M down the drain, Dessers scores again".....🎶🎶🎶

Last word on Dessers - there needs to be a willingness to leave.

Your willing to take a loss on your top goalscorer with no guarantee we are going to replace him or his goals? That's utter madness. All players have a price but we can't be selling our top scorer (and our only regular scorer) for a loss.

We've apparently received a £4.2M bid for Dessers. With only a half-fit Danilo and the unknown Igamane, it would be absolute madness to accept (unless we have someone lined up 100%). Dessers already on 2 goals for the season, a brilliant finish that gor us out of jail in Tuesday and the important (earlyish) opener yesterday. He does appear to score important goals.
