Do you have stats on how many times they gave the ball away? Or misplaced passes? Or crossed the ball to no-one? Or missed challenges? I'm joking by the way 🙂 Maybe coincidence but the subs appeared to kill all our momentum. But lets focus on the positives - Cerny looked very good, Dessers with another goal and Barron was outstanding.

Take it all back, our full backs (especially Tav) are our bestest players 😉

After a decent 1st half, we ended up hanging on against a Morherwell team ravaged by injuries. 1st win of season, Barron was outstanding, Cerny looks a player, Propper had an eventful debut, Dessers scores again. Ridvan and Tav remain weak links in the team. So much breaks down with them due to their lack of final ball. Also both posted missing defensively.

We've been poor in 2nd half thus far.

As an aside my allocated seat at Hampden is decent even of it is in C3ltic end 🙂

Wright is an enigma but must have some thing, as both Gio and Clement appear to rate him (as do his team-mates). Cantwell was training with the B-Team so I was surprised to see him training with the 1st team in today's photos (Igamane was there as well). We are still short in many positions but we just have to go with what we've got until we get more bodies in.

Hagi posted a social media post saying he's completed 2nd week of pre-season. Makes him slightly ahead of Igamane 😆

Said previously, full back area (both sides) are a major concern for me. Sterling and Jefte may be the best 2 at the moment but Sterling struggling for fitness (as well as being the "utility" player in the squad) and Jefte will cover Cortes injury. That leaves us with Tav and Yilmaz. We don't have a second striker - Dessers only fit striker we have! Maybe move Cerny or Matando into that role? Cantwell has been training with 1st team squad this week - does this suggest he may be in managers thoughts?

One I'd like to see with players we currently have ; Butland Tav Propper Souttar Jefte Dio Sterling Cerny Lawrence Matondo Dessers I think PC will go with Yilmaz at LB with Jefte further forward. Also think he'll rest Barron (as I have) and start with Sterling. PC will also go with Dowell or Lawrence as the #10

It'll depend on how long we have to get a replacement. Let's not kid ourselves going with only Danilo and Igamane is far worse than going with Dessers, Danilo and Igamane.

Can't see Balogun starting as he'll be held back for Tuesday. That leaves Souttar, Davies and Propper (so perm two from three). Full backs are nailed on to be Tav and Yilmaz which is a concern as neither have started the season well. Big decisions for manager to make and he has to get the starting 11 correct. 6 wins from 17 games is a terrible record and 2 games into the season and we are almost at "must win game" territory.

To be fair, when he signed him, he was very highly thought off and a few teams were interested in him. It didn't work out, it happens. He wasn't the 1st and he won't be the last.

I would be good news of Cifuentes is returning from this loan to start his loan with obligation to buy at Aris. Everything crossed.
