Universally liked by fans - how do we gauge this? A coach that you like or respect doesn't mean the majority of fans would feel the same. Maybe Rangers should have ran a poll on their website - named 3 coaches and who ever topped the poll got the gig. Tav being our starting right back and captain is another matter of opinion. Anyway the role of Captain isn't really an issue or priority for me, we should have 11 leaders / captains on the pitch - the one wearing the armband is just the one who takes part in the coin toss. Whether PC is the man for the job won't and shouldn’t be decided in a few short weeks, we simply can't keep changing managers on an annual basis.

But you said you'd only keep 12 players. The money isn't there and you are correct, we can't replace 18 players overnight. It seems no matter what we are to do, you'll say it's the wrong thing to do.

So we have a squad of 12? How many do we replace and how do we finance it?

So we need 14 to 18 players to make a squad capable of playing and challenging in 4 compitions. Where are you suggesting we get the money to finance moving 18 players on and signing replacements? If those leaving are as bad as you say, we'll not be getting anything for them and will have to pay them off.

Brilliant pass and finish

He's been worse than Tav but very few can claim pass marks - Lundstram again the only player who looks interested. McCausland good in flashes and Sima with a good finish. Butland was a decent save.

I like him as well, but he has failed to recapture the form and consistency he showed last season. Very frustrating player so far this season. Even at the goal, he seemed unsure what to do. Thankfully Sima knew exactly what to do

It really was a well worked goal, brilliant hold up play from Dessers then a good ball into Cantwell and finished well by Sima

If Tavs been awful, how would you describe Cantwells performance in his preferred position?

That and playing Cantwell out wide are bafling decisions. Said for a while, Danilo looks like he needs support up top. Sima, Matando, Roofe or even Dessers or Lammers could partner him. However the real issue is not having natural wide players other than McCausland and Wright.
