  1. So your team wouldnt lose to St Mirren? Really? How do you know? What is your assumption based on? Maybe we should have employed you instead of Mr Clement? Did you apply? Get an interview? If we draw or lose tomorrow, our slim chances of winning the league are gone and the pressure will increase on the players, management (maybe the board as well). If we draw or lose, the crowd will be baying for blood so yes, it's a must win game. If you think otherwise, fine but no moaning/complaining if we don't win
  2. I said, if it lost to St Mirren, and there is a possibility that it might. Tomorrow is a must win, not the time to play an untried and untested starting 11.
  3. Sterling and Yilmaz are NO better than the current incumbents hence their lack of game time. Has anyone seen much of Cole McKinnon? He blew hot and cold when I watched the B Team Rice is meant to be the next big thing and spoke to someone recently who's son came through the Motherwell ranks with him and there are a lot of people within the game who speak very highly of the young lad.
  4. And if that team were to lose to St Mirren, what would your reaction be? The vast majority would be screaming for Clements head. The time for playing and bleeding in youngsters was when we were down the division, a huge opportunity missed.
  5. Our start under Clement has been OK, but with two consecutive draws which have dented our SPL and EL ambitions, the next few games are crucial for us, the players and the manager. Sundays game is now a MUST win, another draw, or God fordid a defeat and the fall-out will be unthinkable.
  6. Great Post Frankie and hard to argue / disagree with any of it. Do you know if we are any closer to appointing a DoF? Appears we are sleepwalking into another (crucial) transfer window with no DoF (hopefully I'm wrong and things are happening behind the scenes).
  7. Less than 2 years ago we destroyed Dortmund in Germany! But I get what you are saying, however we should be beating them at Ibrox. 1 point out of 6 against them isn't great.
  8. Okay, maybe very unpleasant better sums it up. The reaction to any misplaced pass, or backwards pass, missed / lost tackle etc being met with howls of disapproval and the booing at half / full time told its own story. However, the most unpleasant aspect was the reaction to the substitutions. I thought the atmosphere was very flat at the start a d got worse as the game went on (5mins after our goal apart).
  9. An ex-workmate of mine who I keep in touch with said the very same. He is a Leeds fan but rated both players but said Dowell, when fit was a fantastic player.
  10. It's a major problem - the atmosphere last night for a must win Europa League game was toxic.
  11. Cantwell has shown quality but we can't ignore the fact that he is miles off where he can be. Be continually lost possession last night and on one occasion it led to their goal (it should have been defended better. Thats nothing to do with what position he is playing. Also his reaction to being substituted wasn't the best. Last night, and that's what we are discussing, nobody apart from Lundstram showed up in the 1st half. Has Cantwell shown more in his short Rangers career than Lammers? Off course he has, but he hasn't shown much recently.
  12. Lundstram
  13. But Cantwell has been dreadful all season and last night he could have taken of Lammers, Cantwell or Cifuentes- they were all equally as bad during the opening half
  14. The Cantwell/ McCausland sub was one of the few decisions PC got right tonight IMO.
  15. Another great TIFO from Broomie Collective and UBs
  16. Well, the honeymoon period is well and truly over after the new manager "bounce", in the space of 5 days, contrived to put a dent in our already slim title hopes and put ourselves in a precarious position in the EL. As others have said, it's concerning that PC appears to be replicating MB in some of his decisions After them dropping points on Saturday and then exiting Europe, we had a chance to peg them back in the league and secure a EL spot into January, we've achieved neither Sundays game takes on huge significance, anything other than 3 points would be disastrous. Surely we'll see some changes to the starting line-up / formation? We need a partner for Danilo, Cantwell needs to be moved away from right wing (in saying that, his performances and petulance may deserve being benched), and we need to find some creativity. Tonight, only Lundstram and McCausland deserve pass marks, the others were terrible.
  17. Don't think they are necessarily better, but they are fitter and faster.
  18. I'd bring Dessers on to play alongside Danilo - need someone who can hold the ball and a bit of physicality
  19. Horrible 45mims, horrible/toxic atmosphere, it's as if Beale hasn't left the building. Players look clueless and Cantwell, Lammers and Cifuentes really struggled / struggling This team is fitter and faster than we are and 1st to everyhing
  20. Rangers 3 v 1 Aris Tav FGS
  21. Arsenal struggling a bit tonight.....
  22. Whilst I agree with you and it's a very sensible and positive post / attitude, I do think we need a Barry Ferguson (or Nathan Patterson / Calvin Bassey) every few years to help the player trading model. However it's not fair to expect every player from the academy to be "super-stars".
  23. Only when it suits them....😀
