I suppose it would depend on what you wanted to use them for......😀

I lifted it directly from Daily Express 😀

Now being reported that they are very close to acquiring their 1st batch of shares from a major shareholder (believed to be King).

Exactly how I feel. We are heading slowly into oblivion under the current regime if nothing changes. 1 title in 14 years is as big an indicator as any as to how far we have fallen (some mitigating circumstances in a few of those seasons). I said when King et al saved us from the clutches of the Spivs that I'd be ever grateful (and I am) but also said they weren't what we needed medium to long-term. Whilst all investments / take overs come with a risk, is it any riskier than letting the status quo continue?

Would be better if it was The Bears or The Patriots right enough. Anyway, if Chris Jack is running with this, must be something in it.

INTERVIEW | Patrick Stewart | Rangers CEO | 19 Feb 2025
CammyF replied to Rousseau's topic in Rangers Chat
I don't think it is to be fair. We've shown in 1 off games we can compete with Celtic (league Cup final, last seasons SCF and the 3-0 win at Ibrox). This season its been our inability to win away from home that's killed us (and not just against Celtic). If our away form matched our home form in the SPL, we'd be sitting top of the league. This was also our downfall last season where we threw away a lead in the title race. With a coach who could get us winning (home and away) on a consistent basis, which given our limited budget, shouldnt be difficult to achieve, we would be competing for the title. -

For your next challenge...... 😀 Thanks for creating that, brilliant work. Shows that both Beale and Clement started well, then form fell away. -
They'll demand a "nearly won in Germany" award.

Oh dear, what a shame.....

Other than Motherwell at home, it was away form that killed our league challenge last season. It's now obvious Clement hasn't learned a single lesson from last season as once again, it's our away form thats killed us this season. The Queens Park result was the last straw in my opinion. There should have been no return from that. If Patrick Stewart is telling us the truth, we have the finance to sack Clement, so one wonders why he's still in place. -

I think Clement is to blame. Around this time last year we were flying. We then lost to Motherwell at home (he changed the way Tav and BB/ Ridvan played - I said inverted, @Rousseau told me off! 😉), then our away form fell away (Ross County and Dundee). He also started making some really strange team selections and subs which had an impact on our form. Those decisions have been mirrored this season and @Rousseau XG and XGA tell a sorry story. We should have won the league last season but capitulated and ended up a poor second (sounds all to familiar). -

Thanks @Rousseau - shows how bad we are away from home. Be interesting to see if last Feb-May tells a similar story. -

How many games did they play together? I think its just a trend that's happened to a few players who play well, then their form falls off a cliff (Dessers, Barron, Tav, Butland, Igamane.........). -

I don't think its the "dry spell" that's concerning, it's the complete loss of form. This ould be down to him being moved to accommodate Dessers, or the fact he isn't a number 9 and we are missing numbers in the box when he leads the line. -

They aren't irrelevant to prospective managerial replacements though are they? We're talking replacement managers, here not Tav. -

Off course you can. It's simply a list of coaches with the profile that matches the clubs structure, transfer trading model and playing style. Ah, I see where the problem lies. -

He's getting paid £2M per year- I'm sure that will help attract a replacement. -

Watched a few Rangers games in the bottom floor of a Masonic Lodge in Ottawa. Also, the manager of an Irish Pub in Orleans, Ottawa would stream our games onto the TVs for me (us). Strangest experience was going to watch Leeds v Man U in Malta with a Leeds fans I had met. Didn't tell me it was in the Valetta Man U supporters pub until we got there. Didn't help they all had a Leeds top on.......

Only Butland & Nsiala got pass marks for me, went for Butland.
