They may have done FA and its arguable so did ours. The simple fact is their squad has better quality in it than ours - that's something we all agreed on prior to the game and remains true after the game.

I would have preferred us to go for jugular - but we were limited to who we could introduce and when. Just compare our subs to theirs.

It would have allowed us to have made changes earlier. Our intensity dropped after third goal and there were more goals there if we wanted them.

Given the limited options we had on the bench, the answer is yes. However, same could said for the likes of Lawrence, Roofe etc.

Tav was sound defensively today and curtailed his time in opposition final 3rd. However, noticed at opening goal, he was on 6 yard line awaiting a cutback from Cantwell 😀

I don't think anyone should underestimate the importance of Lundstram, Jack and Raskins parts in allowing Cantwell to have the free role that he was superb in today. Also, the pace of Matondo and Sakala dragged their defence all over the place which again opened up space and gaps for Cantwell to exploit. Cantwell isn't the player I though he'd be, but he looks the part. We need more of similar or superior quality in the summer.

Overall a great team performance and everyone played their part. MCcrorie was excellent, back 4 solid, 3 midfielders controlled game and front 3 caused them problems all day. A little late in the season but that's the type of performance that we require week in and week out. Cantwell, Lundstrum and Raskin top 3 performers for me but rest not far behind.

He's had injuybissues since Beale took over. Would still like to see us sign another keeper.

Decent 1st half and I think Matondo and Sakala are doing fine. Their job is to stretch their back 4 and its working. Lundstram and Raskin playing well but Cantwell the standout 1st half More of same in 2nd half please

As a former centre-half (or clugger) at a very low footballing level, I would agree! Although I was never quick enough to "leave a mark" on some forwards (well that's what I told the refs) 😃

Can't see there being much change from Sunday. Maybe Wright gets a start. Personally I'd play Arfield but can't see him starting.

Didn't say it would. We have players who need moved on, nobody is denying that. We can't move them all on in the next window given the manager has stated at the weekend that there will only be 3 or 4 new faces. That means the majority of the squad we have will remain Given that, Tav is most likely to be in the "remain" bracket as there are others who need moved on before he does.
