Rangers 1 v 1 Dortmund Tav FGS -
Another club / fan base who have changed dramatically over the years. In the early days of attending football (Rangers at age of 13) the group of us used to go and watch other teams if Rangers weren't playing. Remember going to see Dundee v Aberdeen semi-final at Tynecastle and a big Dundee support was supplemented by some fans recognised from Ibrox, as well as a large contingent of Hearts skins who gave Aberdeen a warm welcome into the Gorgie end before being escorted by Police into the Dundee end! Oh, and we were made more than welcome when it was discovered we were Rangers fans.

Stewart Robertson Says There Will Be Away Fans Against Separate Entity FC
CammyF replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Allocating them a dug-out is about as far as I'd go 🙂 -
Might not get the whole truth but with the spiralling cost to the taxpayer and now mainstream media taking an interest, we may get some insight to the failed prosecution and as stated in Daily Mail, the sinister abuse of state power.

I wish we could find away to stick them in either West Enclosure or Club Deck. -
There is a very good article in today's Daily Mail confirming that the cost of the failed prosecution of Rangers will cost the tax payer over £100M. The "sub-headline" is even more interesting. Never thought I'd see this printed ; "A sinister abuse of state power"

If true or chances of progression have gone from 10% to about 3%. Not to fussed, these are "free hit games" as Dortmund are vastly superior to us and my only concern (after we qualified from the group stages) is to win the League.

Scottish Cup: Dundee v Rangers (Sunday 13th March 4pm)
CammyF replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Decent draw but have some bad experiences at Dens and not all involving Dundee. Being taken to pens by Forfar in a midweek semi-final mid 80s wasn't a pleasant experience. I'm sure Forfar had a pen to win the tie, Nicky Walker saved it! Edit - wasn't a semi-final but was a midweek game (freezing cold) and we won on pens after drawing 2-2 1985/86 season. One and only time I've been in Dens Park Main Stand. Good job internet forums weren't a thing back then 🙂 -
Having been one of the few fans who seen right through SDM, it was a time / day that knew was coming. The aftermath was as vile as it was predictable from Scottish Football and authority. Still angry as it was avoidable and still angry at the reaction which is as vile today as it was then. However, we took our medicine, the journey back had some highlights but was mostly horrid, which all made 55 more enjoyable than any other title. We missed opportunities along the way, it took us longer than it should have but we are getting - still someway to go IMO. A message for lurkers, you thought we'd die, but after a bumpy ride, we stopped the tainted 10 and are back where we belong.

Oh I hope so, would secure their relegation and he'd have a great time with the Aberdeen support!

Lost 2-1 to Celtic in Scottish Cup. Sufficient chances to win game but lost two avoidable goal (2nd looked like a foul on keeper).

Poorest I've seen Villa in a while - Newcastle deservedly in lead
-
3-1 Hibs which is an unfair reflection on the game.
-
Good finish from Nisbett puts Hibs in lead.
-
1-1 It's been all Hibs since Arbroath scored.
-
Arbroath 1-0 in 5mins 🙂

Great chance for Arbroath to showcase their potential today against Hibs in the Scottish Cup. Playing in maroon, they must be faves to beat Hibs? 🙂
