One thing that really annoyed me at the game was the actions of the Leicester players after their goals,running to the corners as if they were celebrating a world cup win and the blatant cheating firstly of their number7,stopping to tie his laces before getting back to his own half, then the number10 who had to be warned several times by the referee for slowly getting back. Obviously not well drilled by their coach as there was no support to show off to.

Would "very,very good managers" be willing to take on the "poison chalice" that we are just now with of field problems still bubbling in the background I doubt it. Pedro must be given at least a season/season and a half to get thing right. IMHO we have the makings of a decent team/squad.

Might have been the reason as this was my first viewing of the developement squad and not knowing ages I might have been a bit harsh.

Just back in from the game saw nothing to fill me with any hope just a few fleeting glimpses here and there.

Not saying Alves was at fault for goals just that he seems not to be what we expected.

We have improved but need to bolster in next transfer window and also offload,even if it means ditching signings like Dalcio and current squad players like Wilson and dare I say injury prone players like Rossiter.

He looks as if he wants to stroll through games,which is not a bad thing,but IMO is playing to the crowd,and is not a team player,again I will will re-reiterate it is my opinion in answer to your question.I have no doubt that he is a good player but has come to the wrong league. Also a player with a high reputation can unsettle others who may look up to him.In this instance it has been noticed that Cardoso has performed better when Alves was off the pitch.

As many have given their thoughts on our players I will throw mine into the mix. Goalkeeper Fod definitely first choice with a more than able deputy in Alnyck. Full backs Tav obviously first choice although I see him like many others do as a right sided mid fielder.Wallace more than capable of holding his place in team.Hodson a journeyman IMO but capable of holding a right back place.John on loan but has impressed in his two cameos and worth a punt if he keeps up his showing. Centre backs the problem area,Alves came with glorious praises but seems to have an elitist attitude.Cardoso performs better without Alves on park,similar to Kiernan last season when Tav was out . Midfield Jack has settled in nicely and is,again IMO,an outstanding player.Dorrans again came with big reputation but has still to shine.Windas has blown hot & cold.Pena might still be a lot to come,but how long do you wait.Krancjar best years are behind him but still class although injury prone now.Candeias has proved to be reliable with good pace and control. Forwards Morelos,the find of the transfer window,exciting to watch and knows way to goal.Herrera same situ as Pena.Miller deserved his year's extension but is starting to struggle. Reserves and "bubbling" under.Wilson,should never have come back.Bates time will tell.Hardie,when will he get a chance?.Barjonas a good prospect.Dalcio - who the hell.are you?.Nemane on loan so will obviously get games.Holt more than capable of helping team. Probably haven't covered everything/everybody but have not forgotten McCrorie,outstanding in his two games and definitely a future prospect with hopefully more like him coming from the developement squad.

I used "pathetic" as we could have easily chanted Rangers,Rangers as we had the numbers to drown the out.

Have read most of the posts(just back in from game),and find it hard to disagree with most. A decent first half filled me with some hope but the slow start to the second done us again. I thought we had started to come together but the display in the second 45 was depressing,only three came through with pass marks,IMO,Jack,Morelos and head and shoulders above the rest young McCrorie. Still a long way to go and again,IMO, Miller needs to hang up his boots,Pena looks a bit of a dud,Dorrans has failed to sparkle and Windass,Hodson are not Rangers quality,whatever that is nowadays.

Would like to meet Hibs in final to gain revenge.

Thomson should be studying Tom Daly for Saturday as he is an expert in diving,then applying what he learns to the Mhanky mob.

Not a bad deal IMO he is improving all the time and if this continues a decent sell on fee might be future reward to the club.

Good win at the end but should have been over long before the end if a bit more composure shown by Morelos and Candeias,Windass too let us down. Liked young McCrorie's debut.
