  1. Warburton has said players should be flexible so there is really no reason he should not be played in other positions.
  2. Forrester is an absolute steal. I remember people were cracking him off in the start but I said from the beginning that he looks a good player and will be good when he gets fit. I just hope he stays fit as he takes a fair amount of bad tackles.
  3. Just seen there is an interview with him on Sky 5 for anyone interested.
  4. I think he is also pals with ill Phill is he not? They both come from the same sewer in any case
  5. He is the owner of the highly neutral Scotzone website who asked us all on here to join his highly neutral for all Scottish supporters website. Take the highly neutral with a pinch of salt it is a rat pack site of Rangers haters.
  6. They won't be doing hee haw they will be filming our supporters.
  7. It comes automatic when you start a thread mate. Just kidding!
  8. Is the game on your season ticket? If so then there cannot be another ticket with your seat No. on it. If it is not on the season ticket then there must be a number on your ticket but you will have no right to your season ticket seat I would think. With only about 28.000(estimated) going there will be plenty of seats to chose from.
  9. I doubt Rangers 1872 is a registered trademark although Rangers could still take him to court as it is based on Rangers history and you just cannot use anything which is obvious related to a company . We would probably win but it will mean another court case. I think the cnut is just indeed trying to annoy King.I am sure Apple won a court case against Samsung for something similar. Raymond v Barnaveld was also stopped from wearing a drawing of Barney on his shirt.

    Welcome Thread

    Hi mate Welcome.
  11. The reason I thought they would play is they either didn't play or only had a half-hour. I am curious if he will give Thompson a place. Did he mention anything about that?
  12. Enjoy yourself mate. I can go to the caravan but it is only in my back garden.
  13. If Waghorn does play then he will be in the centre I think instead of Hardie. I think O’Halloran is a certainty for the wide position. Midfield is difficult to pick as they are not all fit yet. One question. I don't see Fraser Aird on the pool number thread but he is in the player list on the Rangers website which has been updated to Clint Hill. Is he still with us or not?
  14. Tomorrow Tuesday the 19th of July Annan Athletic make there way up North to Ibrox to face Rangers in the new look Scottish League cup. Annan were one of the teams who we met on our climb back through the divisions and in fact the last time we played them they beat us 2-1 with Love and Hopkirk scoring overturning a goal by Andy Little. That was then and this is now as they say and Rangers are a far cry from the Ally McCoist team that faced Annan then. Mark Warburton who stepped into the Rangers managers seat at the beginning of last season has structured a total new type of attacking football that we could only have dreamed about back then. At this moment Annan sit on the top league division 2 just 3 letters in front of Arbroath. On Saturday they lost 2-1 to Stranraer while Rangers topped the mini-league on goal-difference, by beating fellow premier league team Motherwell 2-0 at Fir Park. East Stirling who make up the 5 team mini-league have yet to play a game. The Rangers defense looked shaky for the first 15 minutes and looked to have all the same flaws as last season. Rangers were in fact lucky not to be a couple of goals down after that period with Andy Halliday even clearing a Motherwell chance off the goal-line. Rangers took control after that though and got their passing game in motion, looking far the better team for the rest of the game. Just after the break Martin Waghorn cut the ball back to Tavernier who hit a stunning shot into the top right hand corner of the net to give Rangers the lead. Just before the end Tavernier returned the compliment, with an almost identical goal, cutting the ball back to Waghorns who curled the ball into the bottom corner of the same post. Mark Warburton has stated that he will make 6 or 7 changes for the Annan Game with Joey Barton due to make his début coming on for the last half-hour. Barton, when up to full fitness will almost definitely fit into the defensive mid-field role which should help out to steady the defence. Matt Gilks will also make his début in goal and Lee Hodson is probably a certainty for the right-back spot. Clint Hill will be another making his first appearance for the club and hopefully the 37 year old's experience will learn Danny Wilson and Rob Kiernan the finer arts of defending so as they can defend better in the future. Josh Windass will probably be on from the start with the possibility that Joe Dodoo may also get some playing time if his transfer is finalised. There may also possibly be a place for Ryan Hardie up front. I think the starting Line-up will be: Matt Gilks Lee Hodson Rob Kiernan Clint Hill Lee Wallace Josh Windass Jordan Thompson Niko Kranjcar Michael O’Halloran Ryan Hardie Harry Forrester. Jordan Thompson may be more hope as he will probably keep Halliday in there for his experience until Barton comes on after 60 minutes.
  15. As I was arguing that we should self police I will explain why the pictures were removed from the site. As I said in a post I hope it is the guy who threw the bomb as he will be slaughtered. There is in fact no evidence in the photo's that the boy in the picture actually let off the bomb. We all have the right to be innocent until proven guilty. The photo's showed no proof of that. If I was a police officer i would certainly want to talk to him but we cannot play judge and jury and hang the guy on the circumstantial evidence that only proves he was in the vicinity of the smoke. Does wearing a Hood prove anything? Does people looking at him prove anything? Does him taking a picture of it prove anything? My answer to these photo's is No they prove totally nothing. If there is a photo with him holding the bomb then that would be a different matter. If anyone wants to pass them on to the authorities then that is their good right but it is not our job to judge him guilty.
  16. Yes if I was critical if what my brother did and it was 10 years ago so I doubt it would even enter my head.
  17. I am not with you on this one mate. I am not responsible for what my brother does.(If I had one). He may have given his brother a good talking to for all we know. In saying that I am sure he has said enough himself in the past but being honest, Barton has been mouthie on social media. I hope he shows as much skills on the park as well.
  18. I hope he plays a part in keeping Hibs down.
  19. Man of the match was Harreee Forrester.
  20. Agree and we seem to have found a weak link in the system in getting out of contract u21's for 250.000. Ajax have been raiding teams for years buying their best youth players for the development fee. People were thinking their academy is great but it was their scouting system that was good.
  21. I agree but there are good Scottish players out there and we have to know that market as well.
  22. Kiernan seems to have no idea on how to angle himself to cut an opponents route to goal off. There was almost a repeat of the stokes goal as kiernan again seemed happy just to run alongside(parallel) the guy and not cutting the angle to goal off. The marking in the box is also terrible. Ball watching seems to be the order of the day by everyone. We will not win the league with the defence that played today. Defence apart the football is at times stunning.
  23. Welcome back Brahim. Have you been in Peru(?) all this time?
  24. I was talking about the first goal which was terrible defending by Kiernan.
  25. I doubt Hill will make a mistake like kiernan did against Hibs anyway.
