  1. It will be interesting to see just how far we have come. Although we beat them even with Ally at the helm.
  2. OOh Goody that means he will be the one.
  3. A bit of defensive mix up I think. defenders lost their bearingsand panic set in. Luckily we had a sweeper to take control and get us going forward again.
  4. That is what iI mean as well. We shouldn't lose the cross header option.
  5. I was watching ManU v PSV during the week and it was 2-1 for PSV with a couple of minutes left. Manu got a corner and instead of firing it in to the the danger zone they took a short corner lost the ball and let PSV off the hook. I was calling them idiots and van Gaal was furious. There are times for short corners and times to throw it in and hope. A wing back throwing an early cross in to a in storming striker is one of the most dangerous moves in football and it would be a big pity for us to lose that in our armoury.
  6. I have also just read Zappa's post and he is now back in charge. Sorry BH I made my decision after your post and I never seen any predictions. It would have been unfair on many if they missed out because the could not predict through our fault. Zappa has now answered and as I say he is now back in charge.
  7. Sorry mate I never seen the 20 predictions where are they? That obviously makes a big difference.
  8. I think we should all just miss out this week as Zappa may also not be able to take part and many may miss out who are away for the weekend. We can do it for fun and if everybody did put in an entry then we could still enter it. The winner can win the prize of writing the first free match preview. I think Rangers will win 4-1 fgs Waghorn RBR said 4-0 rangers fgs Holt
  9. Certainly no where near the best talents I have seen. Out of Scotland he was a pretty mediocre player to be honest. I suppose it is a generation thing as well. I will also admit to not seeing a lot of Rangers in that era though, as I did not have the medium that I have now. I probably saw far more of him playing in Germany and Holland.

    Taxi!!!

It has been a few years since I wrote a taxi as there has not really been much to laugh about. For newbies that was a piece where I try and bring a piece of humour to the forum. Since things are on the up I will try and go back in time and at least try to bring a small smirk to some faces.. The week started with Liegh Griffiths and Andy Murray changing roles. Andy Murray appeared at Porkhead to face a bar in a bar shooting event and Leigh Griffiths entered a court to face the bar after a bar singing event. Seemingly both were guilty of missers but neither took a penalty. Leigh had of course appeared in court before on assault charges, but was released when the crown witnesses failed to turn up. That seems to be the story of his life. He plays football at Porkhead every second weekend and very few witnesses turn up. Leigh and the Celtic support have also been shouting how Aberdeen are getting so many penalties. Maybe he should get a few judges to referee the Aberdeen games then they won't get any penalties. What a pity for all those few Celtic supporters that travelled up to Aberdeen waiting for the Ronny roar at the end of the game. Instead they had to listen to the McInnes bleat. OOOOOOOBaaaah. it has been well documented(outside porkhead anyway) the crowds are getting smaller and smaller at the Girodome. It is rumoured that Celtic have applied to the BBC to appear on the TV show Escape to the country, as they want to downsize. The problem was they didn't know what country they belong to. The crowds are getting so bad that they are thinking of charging Scott Allen for a season ticket for sitting on the bench. Scott has not travelled to Holland as he is carrying an injury. Leather burns on the Botty one would think. No can't be. Artificial leather burns to the Botty more likely. The cracker of the week was the Celtic directors sending a letter out asking their supporters not to stink. Well i guess there is more chance of stopping asylum seekers reaching Europe. Even green soap doesn't seem to work anymore. Don't worry Mr Lawell help is on the way! TAXI!!!
  16. Well Barry is certainly following in Ally's footsteps by signing overaged Journeymen.
  17. It would certainly make it feel like the new dawn is complete. That is the last thing in our way of moving forward.
  18. Should it not be that our young players are brought up to the level of the EPL players. That is the goal of the academy, but it has obviously not set it's heights high enough in the past.
  19. The statement from King over Oldco may also be a pointer.
  20. I am sure Mark Daly and Chris McLaughlin will be pulling each others hair out to make a BBC production of this positive Rangers event.
  21. Zelalam's deal ends in January if it is not extended.
  22. I would go even further than that. More people in Holland have followed Rangers journey than know the scores in the SPFL. I would imagine getting back into the SPFL will be a great chance to pull a fantastic massive publicity stunt. It will be world news so we really should be planning to milk it.
  23. nothing has been said to stop DD getting a chance. On the contrary Warburton has stated regularly that he will have no problem in using the academy.
  24. Read and watch the youth threads instead of just the HMRC\LBG ones.
