Gael Bigirimana: I knew I was sick BEFORE I left Newcastle for Ibrox
pete replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Craig don't waste your time and energy. He started all this before Vuckic kicked a ball for Rangers. He is just trolling with his one line answers without substance. -

Mine is in! -
If we are still paying him then I don't see why we should not bring him in as a striker coach at least for the youth teams.

I don't think I said we would be paying high transfers for premiership players but not having the resources to beat Motherwell Falkirk and other such teams to get us locked in the Scottish Championship is just looking at the underside of the glass and certainly not a certain reality. There really are quiet a lot of positive things about supporting Rangers it is not all doom and gloom. You just have to be open to positivity it makes you see the whole world in a better light. It is better to be nearer Lalaland than Nanaland. Maybe you could change your poster name to the Undertaker.

I remember thinking that before Butcher and Co, all signed all those years ago. Many players will see the adventure in coming.

Good to see you back Gazza. I would even say wanker is too good a for him as wanking can sometimes be enjoying. I can't think of anything that could be enjoyable about Collymore.

Do you think about committing suicide every day when you wake up? You certainly Don't have your glass half full.

This was from 2013 but they owed almost 10mill and Rugby park was estimated to be worth 11mill. They do seem to have their wages at an accepted limit but still quite high. Slim profit for Kilmarnock Submitted by WG on Tue, 08/01/2013 - 08:37 Kilmarnock made a trading profit of £11,384 for the year ended 31 May 2012, down £186,597 from the previous year. In the present state of Scottish football, any surplus reflects credit on the club concerned. Kilmarnock's net debt rose by £83,000 to £9.84m. This is less than the value of Rugby Park at £11.3m. Turnover went up by £300,000 to £7.4m. Player and staff costs were just over £3.5m, a figure that has been stable for four years. This is less than 50 per cent of turnover, a recommended target that few clubs achieve.

I think you will find it is not the words that are the problem but using them in a derogatory way. You can use the word ****** in normal talk but not use it in a derogatory way.

No thank you. Walsh looks better in his 2 games than Lafferty ever did.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst named Feynoord manager for next season
pete replied to pete's topic in Rangers Chat
I don't know what you mean by scummy but I can't find any religious ties to Feynoord. They started in a pub which can't be a bad thing. They do have a Hooligan element to their support but the club itself is a fine club with the best Youth set up in Holland. They are also now working with the police to find the culprits who rioted in Rome so as they can ban them from the stadium. They let virtually their whole first team squad go a few years ago and played mostly their youth team and finished 2nd in the league and should have won it. That also Qualified them for the CL. Nothing wrong with the club and most of the support. -

Giovanni van Bronckhorst named Feynoord manager for next season
pete replied to pete's topic in Rangers Chat
Former Glasgow Rangers and Arsenal star moving into management J Giovanni van Bronckhorst played for Glasgow Rangers, Arsenal and Barcelona during a playing career that included over 105 caps for Holland. A favourite among Glasgow Rangers fans during his three-year stay at Ibrox, Giovanni van Bronckhorst is set to take his first tentative steps into football management from next season. It follows the official announcement that the former Arsenal and Barcelona full-back is set to become the manager of Feyenoord from the start of next season. Signed by then-manager Dick Advocaat back in 1998, Van Bronckhorst played 117 games for Rangers over three seasons at the club, scoring 22 goals along the way. During that time he helped the Gers capture back-to-back doubles of the Scottish Premier League and Scottish Cup as well as a League Cup during his debut season in Glasgow. Sold on to Arsenal for £8.5 million in the summer of 2001, as reported by the Guardian, a cruciate knee ligament injury prevented the Dutchman from making more of an impact in north London. Though he played 21 league games during the Gunners' Premier League title success of 2002, he ultimately opted to move to Barcelona where he linked up with compatriot Frank Rijkaard. While in Spain he won two La Liga titles as well as the Champions League before finishing his career with Feyenoord. His final game was the 2010 World Cup final, with the full-back captaining the Holland team beaten 1-0 by Spain after extra time. View image | gettyimages.com Assistant manager for the Oranje at under-21 level and most recently second-in-command at Feyenoord, Van Bronckhorst will step into the top job in the summer. Impress in Holland and who knows, a return to Rangers or perhaps even Arsenal could yet be on the cards. -
What is good for the goose is good for the gander I suppose.

i would expect Saturday to be an improvement now that the football is also getting better.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst named Feynoord manager for next season. That rules him out of any Rangers scenario. Feynoord are looking for an experienced No.2 to sit next to him. I wonder how friendly he is with Ally.

This was the original deal as far as the record reported it.

Sorry I gave wrong info I think. The Record has this: The move also means Ashley will now not be able to appoint anyone on to the new board that swept into power during the egm earlier this month.
