They still have to meet in the last game of the season in Dortmund I believe but by then it will be a nothing to gain game.

We have not won 55 land titles. If we are going to call everything we win a title then the count is far higher than 55.

I actually watched a small part of it and thought Hamburg were 0-2 in front. I was telling everyone Hamburg were in front. It was only when my son looked at the results at night that I realised that no glasses and believing what I wanted to believe meant I got it completely wrong.

Reading this it would seem that even at u16 level we struggle in the second half. Is there a "the game is won" or a stamina problem at Rangers.

Jon Daly reveals talks with Ally McCoist over potential Rangers move

That is my big worry about Daly, that we go the route one high ball punt up the field to a lone striker. -
Advertising Standards Authority step into Scottish football

You do have to admit they are hardy obsessive little blood suckers that just keep nibbling away trying to find a soft spot. Just like blood suckers though they are totally blind. In this case to the truth. -
We were playing good football until Ferguson returned from injury it was only then that the wheels started coming off the wagon. Personally I hope Ferguson and Boyd never ever return to Ibrox in any working capacity.

I will put your name in for that one. Thanks

Exactly, GS's statement was just stupid, like hanging someone because they may or may not kill someone

The cold weather and being televised would also make a difference. I doubt if there will 20.000 less season tickets sold. i would guess some fans are having a silent protest as well.
-
I think that has been discussed enough. Clubs count the amount seats where a ticket has been sold. They don't check whether anyone is actually sitting there. nothing embarrassing about it. 46.000 seats were covered by a ticket. Green will know exactly how many seats were actually filled and will be starting to worry about selling season tickets next season.

What PapaBear said I couldn't put it better. I will admit I cried my eyes out when we lost to England with the Gascoigne goal and the moving ball penalty miss.

If he had had a better first touch he would have been a fantastic player but probably never have played for Rangers.

Just pressing the thanks button is not enough. I really want to thank you for keeping us up to date with what is happening in the youth system.

It is also now on the DR website.

I don't think the SFL web space is big enough for that.

You mean you don't know wee Tommy. Everyone knows Tommy.

I am not an expert in Daly as I never watch DU but does this not mean that Ally is setting up for a long ball game.

By Dailyrecord.co.uk 'Confidential leaks' relating to Rangers tax case being probed by police 19 Mar 2013 19:10 OFFICERS are looking into suspicions that private details surrounding the Ibrox club's case were released in breach of the law. Ibrox stadium Ibrox stadium Getty Images POLICE are investigating the alleged leaking of confidential information relating to the Rangers tax case. Strathclyde Police said officers had been instructed to look into suspicions that private details were released in breach of the law. The former Rangers club known as "Oldco" was investigated last year over its use of Employee Benefit Trusts (EBTs). The side effectively won the case after a tribunal ruled that some payments made to players through EBTs were taxable but that many of them could be described as loans, as the club had argued. An appeal has been lodged by Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC). The probe centred on the period 2000-2011, during Sir David Murray's stewardship of the club. The former chairman said in November he had instructed legal advisors to submit a complaint to the Crown Office regarding the publication of information relating to his tax affairs. The firm Levy & McRae said in a statement: "He has asked that this matter is investigated and that anyone found guilty of breaching the law is the subject of prosecution." A police spokeswoman said today: "Following instructions from the Crown Office, an investigation is ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the alleged leaking of confidential information relating to the Rangers tax case. "It would be inappropriate to comment further at this time."

CHARLES GREEN has called for Rangers to be promoted to the middle tier of Scottish football should reconstruction plans be rushed through for the new season. Under proposals from the SPL that would see a 12-12-18 setup come into force this summer, Rangers would find themselves playing in the bottom division. If Ally McCoist's side are deprived of promotion, it would render this season virtually meaningless and the Ibrox chief executive insists the Light Blues deserve to move up the league ladder to preserve 'sporting integrity'. He said: "All things being well, Rangers should win the Third Division title and, that being the case, we should be promoted. "That should happen regardless of what league structure the powers that be put in place. "It would be manifestly wrong to deny any team promotion having won the competition they have entered into at the start of the season. "The principle of promotion and relegation for the clubs which fall into these categories at the end of this season should be enshrined in any new league set up. "So, if, as widely predicted we end up with a 12-12-18 set up, Rangers should be promoted and this promotion should be to the middle tier. "There has been no shortage of voices banging on about sporting integrity over the last year but sporting integrity must cut both ways. "Should that be observed during reconstruction discussions then significant benefits would delivered, particularly to clubs in the middle tier who have yet to reap any financial benefit from us playing in lower divisions."

By CHRIS JACK BARRIE McKAY has emerged as one of the most promising talents at Rangers after turning on the style this term. Now the Gers kid hopes he can further enhance his reputation, this time on the world stage, as he looks to star in the dark blue of Scotland. McKay will line up for Ricky Sbragia's Under-19 side against Sweden tonight as he bids to take his impressive domestic showings into the international arena. The winger's cap call is a deserved recognition for his form with Ally McCoist's side this season. He has been joined in the squad by Murray Park peer Charlie Telfer for the Scandanavian clash and is keen to showcase his talents for his country. He said: "I joined up with the squad on Sunday night. I was back down the road from Elgin and then met everyone so it was a good weekend. "It is great that I have been called up to the squad again and I am looking forward to the game with Sweden. "It is another opportunity for me to play and show what I can do. It proves that I am doing well with Rangers and it is good that the manager is noticing what I have been doing. "I think I have done well when I have come on or started recently, I just want to keep playing games. "I am sure it will be a good game against Sweden and it is one I am looking forward to. "Charlie is in the squad with me as well. It is good that a few of us from Rangers are getting international recognition. There are a few of us coming through." With Ibrox midfielder Lewis Macleod still sidelined through injury, McKay and Telfer are the only Rangers representatives in Sbragia's 28-man squad, with seven Celtic youngsters earning call-ups. The U19s have Euro Championship clashes with Belgium, Georgia and England to look forward to in May and McKay is relishing the chance to impress boss Sbragia once more. The Murray Park graduate said: "He is great to work under, I enjoy coming to join the squad. The training is good. "I hope I am good enough to keep getting in the squad. "It is excellent to come away and meet up with the boys and play for your country. "I prefer it when I can get on the ball and attack teams. We need to do what we are good at rather than worrying about what the other team can do and playing to try and stop them. "Hopefully I can keep progressing and keep making my way up the levels. I am still young and I know I need to keep working hard. "I will just keep taking it one step at a time and try to not look too far ahead of myself."
