Totally agree with your last sentence and is something I was afraid of from the very beginning. I was, as most, willing to give him the benefit of the doubt but I am afraid that benefit is hanging by a thread.

I may get arrested for it but that does not mean I will change my mind or be a racist. I will obviously think twice about using it in Britain but I still feel that things are going over the top there.

You are talking 15-16 million people against 5-6 million people so I think the Dutch can offer up larger supported clubs. Even larger towns in Scotland lose far more supporters to Rangers and Celtic than Dutch towns do to the bigger teams in Holland. Even at the bottom of the Dutch league there are teams who yo-yo between the eredivise and 1st league. While the smaller teams can sometimes put up a surprise now and again they mostly are on to a thrashing from the top teams. Many teams in Holland are also balancing on bankruptcy as well. The amateur and youth setup in Holland is also of a far better in quality to allow smaller clubs to have better coached players. Can Scotland really have 18 reasonable teams? I haven't got time to check now but would be interested in a list of possibles if someone has time.

I don't really see what is wrong with calling someone a Paki to be honest. They do come from Pakistan. It is just an abbreviation. I get called Scotty here a lot but it doesn't really bother me to be honest.

I follow Dutch football and there is just as many injuries to top players. Ajax had a lot of players injured this season.

Irritating a Hamstring is common for people coming back from a long injury time. If it is a torn Hamstring then that is 6 weeks out and his season will be over anyway.
