  1. There is no way there was 15000 empty seats that is almost 1 full stand. as I said I think about 40.000+ will be about right.
  2. My first thought on Saturday was that there was an awful lot of empty seats but if I imagine what 6.000 empty seats would look like then I think 44.000 may be about right.
  3. I agree with you and to be honest someone needs to give Templeton a kick on the backside to get him playing for the team and not as he is now playing. He is starting to disappoint.
  4. The fact he walked away earlier answers that question,I would imagine.

    Welcome Thread

Welcome mate. This thread used to be in the lounge but we moved it in to the Rangers chat because it is far busier in here and will be noticed quicker.
  6. Not another Boyd thread!!!
  7. If you don't know what he is saying then how can you criticise what he says?
  8. Rangers manager Ally McCoist told fans who indulged in inappropriate chanting at the game at Berwick that they have let the club and themselves down. Unsavoury songs were heard from a section of the travelling support during the Irn-Bru Third Division clash at Shielfield Park. Rangers responded during the match, which was broadcast live on ESPN, by releasing a statement condemning the actions of some supporters. And, speaking after his side's 3-1 win, McCoist said he hoped the incident was a one-off, with the club having worked hard in the past to eradicate sectarian chanting at their games. He said: "If there was some unsavoury chanting, they've probably let themselves down - and they've let us all down a little bit." He added: "I would be very hopeful it's an isolated incident and we can move on. Our fans have been fantastic home and away this season. I came off the park to be told the club have issued a statement. I back the club's statement 100 per cent." Fans have largely been well behaved this season, after Rangers were demoted to the bottom tier of Scottish football, and McCoist added: "I think we've all come a long way in recent years. There's no doubt about that. We have to continue the good work that's been done before. "You will get one or two setbacks, steps back to move forward again, but I'm hopeful it's no more than that." It is understood the Ibrox club will assist any police inquiry into criminal acts and the club will ban those responsible from all Rangers matches. A Rangers spokesman said: "The club is disappointed by certain outbursts of inappropriate singing by a section of the support at Berwick. Our fans have been excellent this season both home and away and we do not want to see this tarnished." Superintendent Tim Smith, of Northumbria Police, said: "By and large, the fans were very well behaved, but there was a short outburst involving some sectarian chanting towards the start of the game. At the beginning of the game, we identified that some chanting had taken place and we have taken video evidence of that to do follow-up inquiries. "In addition, two people have been arrested for that offence and are in custody. We have video evidence that will be investigated by officers from the FOCUS (Football Co-ordination Unit for Scotland) team from Strathclyde Police."
  9. Rangers tickets Posted on February 24th, 2013 at 17:47 A limited number of remaining home stand tickets for Tuesday’s game against Rangers will be on sale at the club office from 10am on Monday, priced £13 for adults, £10 for seniors and £7 for U17s.
  10. As I was brought up in the Haugh the ferry was my first choice of transport to Ibrox. It made going to Ibrox even more exciting for a young guy.
  11. Watching Messi yesterday was most disappointing. Walked about as a spoiled brat. lost the ball almost every time he got it and did F-all to chase it back when he did lose it. It is time there is a wage cap on all players with wages being brought back in relation with normal jobs. Charging a working man 40 pound for a ticket to watch these prim a-dona's is criminal.
  12. Truly! D'Artagnan puts many a professional Journalist to shame.
  13. Charlie has saved a fair bit of money in the old transfer deals. I suppose that will pay his Glasgow flat.
  14. Yeh Funny I always thought Hearts were friends and would also have helped them if I could have. I guess they didn't want our friendship.
  15. They would have to change the administration and liquidation laws to get anything and even then it would probably only affect future cases.
  16. Yes good economics. We should have started years ago and maybe we would not be in the position we are in.

    Ticket online

Doesn't seem to be anything in there so I suppose it did not work. Can I order by telephone and pay on pick-up?
  18. Just spent time trying to buy a ticket online. After getting through everything it said after processing you will be redirected to the checkout confirmation page. I waited about 15 minutes and nothing happened so I have no idea if I have bought a ticket or not.
  19. That will be a real collectors piece. It is a pity it is not the East Stirling game as I hope to be at that game and could have bought one.
  20. oooooooowwwww Now there is some real name dropping.
  21. He never said a controlling interest in the article above. He said a place on the board.
  22. I would imagine he would have to be invited.
  23. It is of course possible that King is behind the whole Green pincer movement. After all, not a lot is known about all these investors that we have. Maybe he is waiting to things are clear in SA before coming out the cupboard.
  24. Unfortunately one of the things we have learned is that what people say and do are not always the same thing. He was always thought to have wanted Rangers then it is surprising why he never made a bid at 5.5 million. I am sure his money was released in SA before that time.
  25. Totally agree. The BBC know, or could find out in minutes, the top voices within the Rangers Support. Where you are not willing to look means you will never find. Cosgrove,McConville, Muirhead giving a neutral point of view on Rangers. Aye right.
