You are forgetting there are rules and I am pretty sure media rights is well covered in them. I can feel how you feel but if we want to play football in Scotland then we will have to agree with the rules we probably helped form.

I guess we will be open to charges of bringing the game into disrepute and they may be able to take away our licence. I don't know this for certain but I would pretty much think we are tied up to doing things their way. If the shoe was on the other foot we would also be shouting to have another teams licence taken away.

Three names are missing for me if we could pay big money for a Director of football. Louis van Gaal transformed Bayern Munich from youth to the top and created the foundation for their present team. As he is coach of Holland he may be able to combine the two roles at a cheaper rate. He is an assehole of a man and difficult to work with but is one of the best coaches in the world. Wim Jansen who is the main pin of the Feynoord youth setup, although with his Celtic past and his love of Feynoord I doubt he would be interested. He is also getting on age wise. Henk ten Cate now at Sparta Rotterdam would be another good shout. In fact ten Cate and Rijkard worked together at Barcelona so maybe they would be both interested. Ronald de Boer may also be another although I don't know if he would leave Ajax and his brother.

I doubt if most Junior teams would want to come up to the prof leagues as there is a completely different price tag on playing in the prof leagues. they have been talking about doing that in Holland again but the financial implications mean that most of the top amateur\junior teams are not interested.

To be honest I also think that ticketus own us. Not based on fact but just a gut feeling that could be a million miles from the truth.
