Totally agree about the policing. I was thinking that when I saw the photo of the Lee Rigby flag being held up. If the Police had went in and tried to confiscate it, as would probably happen in Scotland, it could have all turned nasty. I do think you also have to be honest though a lot of the times the Police do go with the atmosphere and how the fans are behaving.

The problem is there is no other team who are as constant as Celtic and they all end up taking points off each other making it simple for the tims to be chumpions.

I hated that I had to pay with a credit card as I don't have or want one. In these modern times paypal or Ideal is a far better option.

I just can't imagine employing someone to read newspapers looking for naughty digs at us and sit and type letters about it. The journalists in question would love that giving them a platform for tit for tat rants. I would imagine his job is sorting out communications with our own support in such things as The Rangers News, Rangers TV and all other communication sources. I know I would not be very happy at us paying a salary just to answer all the Muppets that write crap about us. Paying such a salary must have a reason of bringing more funds into the club by improving the Rangers product surely. I would imagine that is his job. I may be wrong.

To be honest I think JT has not been brought in as a fighting cock but as someone to bring Rangers up to date with media entertainment. Wifi and the link to you tube could be things he is in control of developing. I don't think we should be paying anyone to just react to stupid newspaper articles. We have a board and lawyers for so sort of things.

Agreed. Head up Chris the most of Scotland is behind you, Unfortunately there are some idiots.

In the old days we would have said he is not Rangers class for doing what he done. I for one am glad he will never be allowed to pull on a Rangers shirt again. Green may have got it technically got it wrong in sacking him but it was morally totally correct in my eyes. I am happy I will never see him in a Rangers shirt again. -
The jury is still out on that one for me. The posts about our pre-season when we were in Europe I offer as evidence.
-
All the Dutch teams playing in Europe started training 2 weeks earlier. Ally was still sitting in the Algarve soaking up the sun when we should have been training. Sorry 54 I can't forget that, for me it was not only bad management but foreseeable stupidity.
-
Unbelievable that it is only 12-07-2013 and we have played 3 games yet when we played in Europe in Ally's first season we had just started training around this time. Who knows if we had won those Euro ties, we may have not went into liquidation and CW may still have been in charge. You never know.

Can we please stay on the topic guy's without bitching at each other. Thanks. Now back to the Easdale's.

Firefox Loyal!!!! I dumped IE more than 10 years ago now I believe, and have no intention of going back any time soon. Try running Superantispyware free edition and see if that helps.

As Green brought in most of the investors and spread new cheap shares around his cronies, I would imagine he still has a lot of power to climb back into the driving seat if he wants to.

Ajax and PSV are actually turning the boat round and only using ex-players on their coaching teams. Ajax started the ball rolling after Johan Cruiff said it should be the way forward. Manager: Frank de Boer Assistant manager: Dennis Bergkamp Defensive trainer: Jaap Stam Marketing director: Edwin van der Sar Technical director: Marc Overmars Most of their youth coaches are also ex-players. PSV Headcoach Phillip Cocu Assistant-coach Chris van der Weerden Ernest Faber All ex-PSV players

Richard Gough is also not Christophe Berra for that fact.

Thanks mate I enjoyed reading that, although the thought of that smug-assed smile of Regan had me heading the wall.

Should the Rangers manager's salary be performance related ?
pete replied to RANGERRAB's topic in Rangers Chat
Wages in football are ludicrously high. The whole of Europe is virtually bankrupt and players are walking away with millions for kicking a ball about. It is totally scandalous. -

Disagree, clubs seem to be more and more listening to or reading what the fans are saying. Now that the TV money has been slashed the fans are the biggest income to the club again. Plus the fact forums are for discussion and debate and many good and bad idea's flow from that. -
Because he would die without it. I would prefer to see him hurting watching our 141 year old club hit the heights of of European football again. Then again I am a bit of a sadist.

For anyone going over to Germany my brother-in law has a flat for rent which is roughly about halfway between the two games.(Guterloh= 130km and Emmen 81 It sleeps 6 comfortably with 8 at a push. It is near Bad Bentheim which is a picturesque town and Schuttorf which has a discothèque where even the Dutch cross the border to go to. Both are about 2.5km away. Excuse the advert but it may help some bears. It is also great for anyone wanting a mountain-bike, walking or just a relaxation holiday. http://www.micazu.com/vacation-rentals/germany/niedersachsen/bad-bentheim-/waldruh-bad-bentheim-11782/ http://www.bad-bentheim.com/vakantiehuisje/waldruh.htm
