    Surely there are plenty of bears at top management and other levels that would be willing to to work for expenses or a small wage.They couldn't do any worse than the clowns we have had over the last few years.

    I hate translation engines they are normally pretty crap. I have seen work done by professional translation agencies where I cringe at the English. They obviously also use these engines with a little bit of know how. I have told my boss's often enough that they would be better asking me to write reports than employ some agency. At last they have listened and I have now moved from the shop floor to an office job for a 6 month period.

    Totally agree with you Andy and to add the timing is very strange all in defence of Spence it would seem. I suppose this group think if we tell the story often enough it will become a matter of fact.

    Agree fully but it is a bit strange unless he thought we paid the wages of yesteryear.

    That is of course possible but as far as rangers were concerned he was on trial for a contract. That would make him pretty dishonest if it was only to get fit.

    I have filled my name in for the Brechin game. Hopefully I will be in a better position as now to write one. I am moving house at the moment and just don't have the time to do one. Hopefully I can get rid of my old house at the end of the month putting me in less stormy waters.

    I tried to sign in to vote but I can never get passed those stupid security checks. After trying about 15 times I gave up I am afraid. It is not just yesterday I never seem to get it right.

    If Adidas or Nike wanted to sponsor us and offered us more money they would have got the deal. Puma offered us more seemingly. Job done!

    Yes but it is not the Ajax system that makes these players great it is the full Dutch footballing system. These guy's are being well coached from 4-5 years old. I have said it before Ajax were so good in the 80's 90's because they were the first Dutch team to start Scouting the whole of Holland and indeed only picking players who fitted in their system. They had a jump on everybody else who only scouted in their own region. They had the pick of the whole of Holland. The Ajax youth system of the past few years that you guy's think was so good is a fable. Thy buy far more than they produce from the youth.

    Sorry Anchorman but it was not all roses in those days. I remember going to matches where there were only 15.000 supporters. There were no computers so communication between supporters was only on match day. Of course there were no feuds between FF and RM they didn't exist. I remember regularly gang fights at the Haugh Ferry with the Drummy Derry the Maryhill Fleet and the Haugh Chunky. That was Rangers fans trying to knife each other I actually take my hat off to the present day supporters I think they are doing a fantastic job. Even on bad days the crowds have never fell anywhere near 15.000.

    Not so sure. The famous Ajax youth system has only been revamped this year for years they were not near the best in Holland. 2 or 3 seasons ago they had 70 players for 2 selection teams They had something like 28 players bought for the first team sitting in the stands every week. Ajax youth may have been fantastic in the 80's -90's but it is certainly no where near that now. Feynoord is known to have the best youth system around for the last 5+ years. At the last count Ajax was as low as the 7th best in Holland but they may have improved on that. They have also been busy in the last window buying new players in.

    They covered Jimmy Saville up for about 20+ years what chance is there of worrying about Spence calling Rangers a new club.

    Sorry mate Ajax are the wrong example the dust is just settling after they had feuding board room battles for the last few years. Most of their board had to resign when the club was split into 2 camps. The Johan Cruiff supporters and the members and supporters of the last board. Johan Cruiff was also brought in a few years ago but Marco van Basten told him you can watch but I make the decisions at all levels. Cruiff resigned. There are nearly always boardroom fights at Ajax.

    Thanks Cammy great to read one of your rants again. My son was also in hospital for months after his birth so i know how taxing that is. While I did not disbelieve you about SDM I admit I was a fence sitter. I agreeit is a pity we were not more vocal against SDM but I think we were blinded by success and a belief SDM was putting his own money into the club. Now I see how naive I was. As you say age and experiences change yor view on life. Great to see you back.
