I clicked on Murray before I realised I could have clicked on both. The fact is as someone said above we may not have been in administration If Muir was still running the show so I definitely think it is both of their faults.

You never do!

Yes good luck to the big guy. All the best Davy!

Once Craig Whyte had paid his pound and the deal was signed he was given a free hand to do what he wanted with the club. During the due diligence it would have been obvious to him that a deal could be done with Ticketus. Ticketus would have been foaming at the mouth to get such a long term deal. I doubt if Muir would know or really care where the 18 mill was coming from as long as he was on his bonus for retrieving the money. Cal I don't believe that any deal had to be done before he bought the club all that came after he owned it. The only thing that is not clear to me is that did anyone ever see the 30 million he was supposed to have given proof of having. If not then David Murray must be guilty of something here. If it was available to see then Whyte either forged papers or he could put that amount of money somewhere on an account. Probably a temporary moving of money or Guarantees from somewhere to be moved as soon as he had signed the papers. He certainly worked on a robbing Peter to pay Paul basis. I am no expert and these are just my thoughts and open to being totally crap.

Oh and yes a conman always tells you what you want to hear. Hence the I will give my shares to the fans. Give us a break Craig and slide back into the hole you appeared from. Hopefully the Police are rowing over the moat as I speak.
-
That is the thing with conmen they never think they will get caught and are the smartest people in the world. They also never give a shit about their victims which kicks his I am a Rangers supporter bullshit. CW only loves and cares about Chris Whyte. I think you only have to take the roofing deal as well to see he goes through life fucking people. Another trait of conmen is that they believe in their own lies and are compulsary liars. I think we have seen enough of them now not to believe in corporite manoevering bullshit anymore.

I remember thinking at that time he was a step ahead of other players in thinking, and some of his passes were brilliant but just not understood. He did go downhill quickly though so no other teams seemed to fancy him.
-
Just to bring a bit of football in at least for the oldies, I always thought that Graham Fyfe was a yard quicker in thinking than his team-mates at that time but he was never a popular player with most of the Ibrox crowd. I know there were religious issues with him and his wife but I am interested what other people thought of him as a player. I thought he was a good player to be honest but he did seem to disappear after Rangers.

I am afraid that 4 years is a lot of time and money. We would need to get a cash injection from somewhere. Even Whytes 5mill per year wouldn't cover our running costs so there would need to come a cash injection from somewhere.

Please don't anyone mention Ajax they are well down the list of good academy's in Holland. Feynoord are probably the best at the moment which is why Man city are using them. The whole of Ajax are in a power battle at the moment because Johan Cruyff wants to restructure the youth set up.

I am afraid I have had that for years and unless someone can come up with an answer you will have to get used to it. You have to open and close it twice for it to be classed as read.

Answers on a postcard to Gersnetonline.co.uk:) Just kidding

If it is true that the 24 mill will be used to pay the tax bill then where do we get the running costs from for the next 3 years. Seems like a borrow borrow borrow scenario to me and not a healthy way to get the club back on it's feet.

No idea what you are reacting to Dutchy?

Just wondering what our thoughts are now on what to expect in the oncoming week\weeks. I very much doubt if Whyte can return. Are there still people who think he will? Did he pay the 18 mill with our borrowed money? All other thoughts. Was this Whyte alone or a criminal sort Mafia with more people involved. I am certainly swaying towards a criminal scenario. Are there still people who think he is just a patsy? I thought this in the beginning but don't now, I think he was a chancer who bluffed his way all along. Some will say he must have been a great actor but conmen often are. I am now off the fence and down on the conman side. I think he was more a dreamer than Patsy but I won't rule patsy out totally.

I am not backing Murray or Johnston but it would seem they were totally correct in not backing Whyte. Just a pity they never spoke out during the Murray saga.

As said above not many or none of the lower league teams will have a support like we will. I am not stupid in thinking we will keep 50.000 in the first years that will probably be more between 10 and 15.000 but it should be enough to get us through the early years. The higher we get the fans will reappear. I know the popular saying is we don't do walking but I certainly don't think we will fill 50.000 seats against Hereford.
-
In saying that obviously having a far bigger budget within our means should see us walk through at least the first few leagues. After that it will be difficult.
-
If we did start in the lowest league though we would have to cut our cloth to suit. You cannot go into the lowest league with million pound players. We would have to have players always just good enough to win the league and with that also comes the danger they may not win it.

I was also born into a Rangers family. At birthday parties the sash and all other songs were belted out. I think I can remember my first game and funnily enough it was against Kilmarnock. We won 2-0 that day. I was still young enough to spend a lot of the Match up on my fathers shoulders. We were in the covered terracing where all the singing was done. I think it was also known as the jungle in those days although I may be wrong on that. My first old firm game was the disaster game and I only was allowed to go because I could use my uncles season ticket as he could not attend. It was for the main stand. We(my older cousin) also left with seconds to go and were on the stairs when Rangers equalised. We also ran back up to the seating so I can imagine many done that on stairway 13. My best mate at that time who I normally went to the games with was caught up on the stairway but was lucky enough only to lose his shoe as his foot got caught. He told me later that he knew he was walking over bodies but you just had to try and stay on your feet yourself. I went down that stairway many times as a young kid and it really was a nightmare. My father always told me to keep my arms over my chest to give me enough room to breath. That is how bad it was. I also remember when I was a little bit older going to the games alone. I would walk down to the Haugh Ferry and get the boat across the Clyde. Past Kai Johansen's bar and up the Copeland road. Then I would stand at the turnstiles and ask everyone: Hey mister Gonny gie me a lift over. There was always someone who would give you a lift in. I always stood behind the Goal Rangers were shooting into to as you could walk around to the other end in those days. I used to talk to the opposing supporters there was absolutely no ill feeling in those days, well at least not in my eyes. I also had a couple of bad memories I remember I went to a game with my big sister and we had to leave because she was complaining that some supporters kept sticking their hands up her skirt. She vowed the never to go back and she never did. Not many females went at that time. Another was when I was older I was walking down the Copeland road towards the Ferry and normally I always walked down the left hand (Subway) side. Probably because it was more crowded I switched over to the right hand side one time. There was a bit where the houses go inwards in a sort half circle with a grass field in front of them. I saw a group of guy's standing there but never thought anything of it. As I walked past I got a terrific clatter on my head from a length of wood. I turned round and looked the guy in the eye that was holding the plank and smiled at him as if it didn't hurt. Once I was out of their sight I had a good old rub of my head as it really did hurt me. Two games really stand out in my head though and that was the 2-0 win against the mighty Bayern Munich and the 4-1 drubbing we got from Ajax with Johan Cruiff. Even although we got drubbed it was a joy to watch such players.

Do you really believe that because I don't to be honest. It is just a Bravado call. The same as virtually all men say if anyone touches any of my family I will kill them. How often do you hear of kids being misused? On a regular basis unfortunately. How often have you heard of a father taking revenge. I can only ever remember one German woman doing it. I know that it might not be a great comparison but while CW may have his tyres slashed or his car trashed I honestly doubt anyone would liquidate him. Just my opinion.

My company has plenty of them. I asked my boss the other day if he was doing anything. He answered " no nothing" So I asked if I could help him.

Until now nobody has been laid off so he is indeed still on the payroll.

Don't worry next month we may have Parks coaches.
