  1. Bartley picked off some excellent defence cutting passes as well. One swallow does not make a summer but hopefully we saw a ray of sunshine on Saturday.
  2. Whyte and King teaming up would be a nice prospect although probably one cook too many in the kitchen.
  3. If kids don't need stretching then you are wasting their time and energy. You don't need to learn kids unneeded exercises that they need 10 years on. I am not sure on this one but if I was you I would ask for advice on whether stretching is needed at such a young age.
  4. I was\am an ardent Scotland supporter but as long as that person is in the Scotland team I will not even watch.
  5. When I first started training the youth here I did as I had learned and started running round the park. I was pulled aside by the other club coaches and told all youth training is done with a ball at their feet. Youth players have a natural stamina and therefore don't need stamina training. Working with the ball also builds stamina. Two birds with one stone.
  6. Don't worry craig that was just the answer I was looking for.
  7. Jelly is on his tail.
  8. Possibly Craig but the fact still remains that he was not helping Rangers win leagues and that is what it is all about at Rangers.
  9. I thought McGeough had went back to Irony dome.
  10. Plenty of Courver on you tube.
  11. The woodwork does not prevent goals Craig. Players miss the goal and hit the woodwork.
  12. I am also a big supporter of him at the Brum. Done nothing positive for Rangers so I am happy he left. His own attitude was his worst enemy for us.
  13. The whole Dutch youth training system uses the Coerver coaching method. I downloaded the dvd's on a torrent on my old computer so they are available on torrent sites and really worth looking at if you are interested in youth training. http://dictionary.sensagent.com/coerver+method/en-en/ One training i did when i was training the youth was having 4 attackers go on 2 defenders. I released the attackers from the half way line The defenders had to try and hold up the attackers until they got help from another 2 players which i released from the half way line 10 seconds after the attackers had reached the defenders who were just in front of the box. It taught the defenders to position themselves to hold up and not to dive in. The attackers also knew they only had a number of seconds before help arrived.
  14. New boys Healy and Bartley showed they are settling in well at Rangers, says Walter Smith Feb 13 2011 Sunday Mail RANGERS boss Walter Smith heaped praise on debut boys Kyle Bartley and David Healy after they caught the eye in the rout of Motherwell. Youngster Bartley impressed in the centre of midfield while Healy came off the bench to seal the 6-0 win with his first Gers goal. And boss Smith was thrilled by their instant impact at Ibrox. He said: "Bartley has played in the centre of defence all season at Sheffield United so it was new for him to play as a midfielder. He handled it well and also showed a capability to get forward. "Healy looked quite pleased with his goal. He managed to fulfil one of his ambitions by scoring for Rangers. I hope he continues to do so. "The new signings are integrating well and it was great to see Nikica Jelavic get a hat-trick." Well boss Stuart McCall was less happy after his Ibrox return turned into a nightmare. The former Gers star said: "We knew it would be tough and spoke about keeping it tight in the early stages. But we didn't manage that. "I'll speak to my lads individually, go over a few things with them. "It was a painful lesson for some of my youngsters but they won't come up against players such as Weiss and Jelavic every week. "A lot of Rangers' players were on top of their game and we weren't."
  15. Who gives a shit now. It is over let us get on with our lives and put it down to an expensive lesson.
  16. I hope he goes to Sky I am dreading him as the manager of Rangers. I hope I am wrong.
  17. Maybe that is the problem. A manager should not only have to pick the team but also have to balance the books. Scatter gun? No! just a knowledge of that money hungry little runt.

    Kyle Bartley

Agree he would be first pick for me next week. To be honest it is Davis who I have doubts about. I think I would drop him for Edu. Edu is far more mobile than Davis.
  19. Bartley was MOM in the first half in my view. Looks like a great prospect.
  20. Dick Advocaat is a money spinning little shite mercenary baskit for every club he has ever managed. I hope his next shite is a hedgehog walking backwards. He is like a prostitute. No money no Dick. Agree with the rest though Murray gave him the opportunity and signed the cheques.
  21. Really hard to distinguish if this was a really good performance from us or a very poor performance from Motherwell or a bit of both.
  22. Possibly also to do with the circumstances. The McGrains were totally pissed off that Rangers would not sign Danny for what they believed was to do with his name.
  23. As my late father often said "Give Rangers a decent player and we will soon ruin him" Funny how nothing has seemed to change over the years. Believed by many supporters of all generations maybe worth a True or false thread on it's own.
  24. Such a big thing made of his Rangers supporting family but he was on trial at Celtic first. Supporting a team goes out of the window when it comes to your child turning professional. Danny McGrains family went from the most bitter Rangers supporters to the most bitter Celtic supporters with one signature.
  25. Yes cracking post but I have to say that in any walk of industrial life the social aspects are dead and buried. Mr Kobayashi and his Lean manufacturing has turned modern day managers into heartless robots.
