I have no problem with the Friday Monday scenario at Easter as 2 days of rest must be enough for prof players. In the EPL they hold shorter breaks at xmas.

No tin hat needed he is a great ambassador for our club and I think everyone respects that. I don't think we can kid ourselves on though that players are starting to walk past him at a trot. I hope he finishes this season but I would start resting him at times and let Bartley play in there for some games.

I have added my name for the St Mirren game as I have back shift next week. The 4.30 awakening for morning shift just wrecks me for doing anything creative.

Whether Souness was a great manager is open to debate. he was able to buy players at that time that no one thought possible because he was given the cash and English teams were banned from Europe. He got the jump on Celtic and Scottish football taking everyone by surprise.. He certainly never done much after he left being a disaster at most clubs he managed.. Walter Smith had years working under Jim McLean and Fergie not a bad learning curve. Klinsmann never really managed long enough anywhere to be named successful.

That is the trouble with me with mcCoist in that he hasn't started anywhere. I would have proffered he managed a smaller club first.

Personally I am dreading McCoist I just do not see him as manager material. I hope he proves me wrong when he takes over but I am afraid I see him more of a clown than a serious Rangers manager.

Maybe if his first touch was better he wouldn't have to work half as hard. Sorry I just don't see a good football player in him and other players playing worse doesn't make him a good player. Ian surely that is why we come on here to discuss the positive and negative things about Rangers. You may want to bury your head in the positive sand pit and there are a few who are far too negative but if we all just think positive then it will be a pretty boring forum.
