Caldwell and McManus? Just kidding.

Agree about this season but i have images in my head of Mohammed Ali going on for too long. Weir should bow out on a high imo. One more season may be a possibility but i would like to see him passing the reigns over to hopefully Boogie and Wilson.

I almost had tears running down my face reading that. Not laughed so much since a thread on Kerrydale street taking the piss about Mcgeady playing for Ireland. I think the user name was Dr Ralgh. The guy acted as if he couldn't understand that Mcgeady was Scottish but could play for oirland. It was about 7 pages before they realised he was taking the piss.

Beasley defends far better than Lafferty as well, so imo he is far better on two fronts. It is just a pity he is always injured.

He didn't have the money to buy QPR so unless he has made his fortune recently or the second person is loaded then it looks like they do not have much financial clout. The question is could DK be using a broker to disguise a move for the club?

I managed to see the game live on Hungarian tv and my thoughts are: For the St Mirren goal McGregor got it totally wrong. If you set up a wall to cover one post then you have to cover the other. McGregor was never guarding that corner of the goal and even although it may have taken a slight deflection McGregor should have had it covered. A definate keepers fault for me. Thank god we got the quick reply as i was imagining St Mirren digging themselves in. Gus McPherson said Weir should have walked after 4 minutes after pulling back a St Mirren player. total crap if we are going to send people off for such minor offences then we will end up with 5-a-side football. Having Beasley out wide created a lot of natural width. Beasley wasn't great but the fact that he stayed wide streched the St Mirren defence. I don't think i have seen a worse player at controlling a ball than Kenny Miller. He really needs about 20 yards of space to control the ball. He was very poor today imo. MOTM. Davis i think although McCulloch with two goals must also be in with a shout

Join our club. Not a biscuit but remembered me of: Just one corneto. Give it to me, Italian ice cream, from Italee.

Agree totally he just puts the same words in a different order, The theme is always the same. How his editor puts up with him printing the same crap time and again is beyond belief. It is like a painter turning up for work and painting the same wall every day. I doubt if a painter would get away with it but Spiers seems to.

Did anyone see Davy Weir having a boot at Fortune as he ran to the Laf-Brown ruck. He was lucky the ref never seen it.
-
I don't normally go onto tim sites but i just had to feel the pain. I was reading Kerrydale street. Some absolute disillusioned people on there. 496 guests at one point i don't think i was the only blue-nose.

I was actually cheering McGeady today, i thought he was great.
-
There are some extremely bitter people out there. I think he meant the best team in Scotland.
-
He threw his head into the chest of Lafferty which the Ref saw as a Zidane sort of thing. it was harsh but Brown put himself in the position to give the Ref a choice. Brown only has himself to thank.

Yes that was the topper. The beeb had to apologise for a mope calling his own chairman a war criminal.
-
I agree with all above. Yellow for both and Boogie should have gone. To be honest though i don't really give a shit Celtic drowned in their own cesspit of venom. They never turned up particularly in the second half. Was McGeady playing? :rfc:

No i was actually talking about scouting young players for us. Sorry i wasn't clear on that. As for Wilkins not scouting for us, well Chelsea have many players loaned out who are just under the first team. Surely we could be looking to loan some young or just not making the first team players from them.

ARthur Numan has been employed by Holland to Scout their opponents in the World cup. He will also be involved in the youth setup. He will shortly be rehousing to Holland. Surely Rangers should approach him to work for them on a freelance bases?
-
That would make them smell better than normal.
-
He certainly hasn't done anything near making him a full international. I can only imagine his lack of games or there are simply other choices who are considered better at u21 level. Let's not forget he is only still 18.

Douglas Park - Your Mission, Should You Choose To Accept It
pete replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Anyone putting their own money into a football club will lose it quickly. I think i read recently a lottery winner lost all his money buying into Livingstone. I would say a good sponsor to pay off our debt and then run the club in a profitable way is the best we can hope for.- 49 replies

To be honest and it is only my opinion as i am no financial expert, Lloyds would be easier to deal with than Murray wanting top price for his shares.- 49 replies

I just don't understand why it is not known exactly what the asking price is to take over at Rangers. Is it buying out the debt or is it buying the debt + Murray's shares. Surely this information should be available somewhere if the club is really up for sale.- 49 replies

Douglas Park - Your Mission, Should You Choose To Accept It

If David Murray is still in a position to syphon off any funds that come into the club then there are simply few who will be putting their money in. If Rangers were Murray free then it is crazy for the current board not to consider supporters buying into the club. That is the question that needs to be answered foremost in my eyes.- 49 replies
