Once the debt has been cleared we could start rebuilding. I would imagine that we could keep a lot of the low earners. We would lose McGregor Boyd, Miller and Boogy but could possibly hang on to the rest. For all players out of Contract give them a take it or leave it option to get the wages down. Obviously getting Fleck and Wilson to sign would then be paramount. Unless a buyer comes in i see it as the only option.

Not really to do with Rangers but Mario Been said on Dutch TV tonight that Feynoord will probably be releasing most first team players next season and continuing with players from the youth set up. We are not the only club in this situation. Players wages have to be brought down.Would we be willing to accept a few years of defeat and accept we have young players playing, to secure the Health of the club? We may not have a choice.

I'll start with a draw and hope for better. There is so much mud on the Fir park pitch they should call themselves the Motherwell Hippo's.

The transfer window has come and gone and was a big disappointment for the Rangers fans and Management. The bhoys from the dark side used to taunt us as the Loan Rangers. It would seem we cant even hit that standard anymore we have become the Whos gon Rangers It was over at the Torbet towers where they had a clear out though. Their whole defence was sent packing. No change there then most of the SPL has been sending them packing all season. They brought in the Dutch wonder, Jos Hooiveld. Hooiveld translated into English means Hay field. The Parkhead turf will suit him to a tee then. It is a great name for a Celtic player as the only cups he will have a chance of gathering will be buttercups. With all the Chinese Celtic have been signing, a Paddy field may have been a better option, that would really have been a winner with the fans. Rumours are going round that if Tony Mowbray doesnt win any silverware at the end of the season, Ann Robinson will take over. She will be looking to find the weakest chink. The signing of the pitbull, Keano and the Great Dane, Rassa has got the tims in a frenzy. The only person not so happy with their signings, is big bammy Sammy the Greek geek as he will probably now become a .Deputy Dawg. Doctors at the Western Infirmary tried to cross Artur Boruc with Neil Lennon They produced a rolly polly holy goalie with a ginger minger. Demarcus Beasleys car was blown up after he was reported to have had an affair with a gangsters chick. A case of starting with a hotrod and ending with a firebird it would seem. Taxi!!!

We always seem to struggle at fir park over the last few years so let's hope we do get that easy ride this time.

I wonder if it was Vanessa Perroncel seemingly she fancies anyone in a blue top. I remember Mark Hately was reputed to be in a similar situation although i think it was a gangsters daughter he had screwed. It was said he had to leave Glasgow very quickly.

Walter Smith has been dropping hints all the time. Ask him to lead it.

Take the train and follow the crowd if all else fails. That is what i used to do.

Just as a matter of interest i take it if we are put into administration, Ibrox and Murray park could be sold off. If we start up again losing 10 points we would have to rent Ibrox back or look for a new stadium. Is that right?

Rangers 2 - 0 St Johnstone: Player Ratings and MoM Poll
pete replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Agree with that for me Naismith and Little should both be higher in the pecking order than Lafferty on last nights performance. Little looked very sharp and Naismith wins more balls in the air than Lafferty could dream of. -

Well that was the end of the transfer window. It is funny how they call it the transfer window when so many Celtic players were shown the door. All of a sudden the Celtic supporters are having a whale of a time. Big Mowby Dick has caught them hook line and sinker. Just two days ago they were all at sea, Floundering in second place 10 points behind the Rangers. Big Sinbad was Sobad they wanted him to walk the plank. All of a sudden big Mowby Dick has become a fisher of Men. All the pieces have fallen into Plaice in one quick cast. The great white Shark in Robbie Keane, has been reeled in. This deadly predator that has failed on the Mersey and on the Thames is going to find easy prey, in the SPL gold fish bowl. The big fish who has not been that great at finding the net in other waters. The Celtic shoals are already singing weve won the league. Well I suppose with 20.000 leagues under the sea they may win one. The problem is, these mighty fish sometimes turn out to be a red herring and you get a haddock that starts to smell after a few weeks. I am sure even the fish sized brains of the Green and grey Guppys will remember Thomas Graveson and Bobo Balde. The old C-dogs certainly took the bait there. They got more like Cods Roe than nine in a row with them. So what if King Nep-tuna does not find Atlantis but sinks like the Poseidon? What if this great white shark, turns out to be a damp squid? Well I suppose Sharky will be thrown back to terrorise in the murky waters of the EPL reserve league. The Parkhead piranhas will be going on a feeding frenzy on big Mowby, as he is mussled out the door. Come May, Walter Smith and his mighty minnows will be Perched at the top of the SPL, and go on to feed on the not so rich Parkhead plankton for years to come. Oh to see the green and grey guppys Clam up as they will be totally gutted as their team are skinned. Whale. Whale.

I wish they were given out in February.

Don't underestimate Braafheid guy's he is a really good player believe me. He just did not get much chance with Bayern and when he did he was unlucky the whole team were crap. He will be in the Dutch WC squad.
-
He was excellent with FC Twente and playing for Celtic he will be going forward more than defending.
-
I must admit Braafheid and Keane are good signings. I would be quite pleased with that if they came to Rangers.
-
That is true i was reading one post where the guy says i love when Poulsen plays you can scream at him and get rid of your aggression.

I have been reading further back and there are very few positive posts over him. I have to agree that it is more his speed in thinking and picking the good options that they all talk about and not so much running speed. He rarely reaches the bye-line and has little technical control. The biggest waste of money ever, is mentioned a lot. The most positive posts have been of his last few games at left-back. Here is the thread for those with a translate engine. He is also named The porcelain man in a few threads. http://www.azfanpage.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3865&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=140

In his first game at LB against Heracles he seemed to do quite well and surprised a few. A severe lack of speed seems to be the biggest issue. Nearly everyone refers to that. To answer your question No not a lot they will be happy to see him go.

Does not get a game very often and recently has been moved back to LB. He does have Marten Martins(sp) in front of him who i rate very highly. The fact that three different managers have not fancied him maybe says a lot. I have been checking the AZ websites and Came across: The guy is just a Laugh. A waste of space. Couldn't pass a lamp pole. The corner flag moves quicker. No football intelligence. On the news that Rangers want to loan him got this answer. Of course this is from faceless people behind a keyboard.
