Agree totally about Fleck, he will have bad times as well as good. We really have to be patient with him.

As far as i can remember there have been two longish term tim posters. As i said i believe the one that was on when i started was the first person to 4000 posts. He was really a decent guy and was actually as much a part of the boards as anyone. Cammy or Jon will know better than me. He keft on his own will. The second was a calscot type who thought he could baffle everyone with long(what he thought intelligent) posts. He was eventually banned as he did what mainflier said, his true colours came steadily dripping out. Others have come and gone. For a while we did have trouble with idiots filling the boards with IRA bullshit in the middle of the night but since we are virtually moderated 24 hours a day with Gribz,Jon,Craig and myself often on at night that doesn't happen much, if at all, any more. Bantering with one now and again is okay but i agree i come on for Rangers discussion and i am not interested at all in what is happening at the piggery.

I will go for an attacking 4-3-3\4-5-1 i prefer movement rather than sticking to a rigid system. I am not a great Miller fan but i do think we need movement up front and Miller offers that. I have not really seen lafferty play so i can't judge him yet. Miller Fleck and Neighsmith for me.

I can't accept that i am never wrong. Seriously Boyd has an excellent scoring record and nobody can deny that. It does not make him the best choice for every game though. In some games you need different types of players. An Eskimo has an ice house but it won't help him if he flits to the Bahamas though.
-
I think if you divide minutes played by goals scored then lafferty will in fact top Boyd.
-
He is the inform striker. He actually scored 2 except for a bad ref decision.
-
And i keep picking donkey's in the grand national.:fish:
-
Webster was just never fit. A peice of terrible business from the man who received a giant bonus for mismanagement,
-
And Lafferty of course.
-
Most recent Fleck and Novo.
-
I never mentioned any logic. You asked me who has scored against celtic and i gave you a general answer. In many of the games we never scored at all so using your logic we shouldn't then play any goal scorer.
-
You have finacial Lawyers. Criminal Lawyers. Real estate lawyers. You have race horces, work horses and show jumping horses I suppose you can say the same for Boyd he is just not an old firm goal scorer.
-
I rest my case.
-
that is possibly true but it would read: Hemdani 1 Ehiougo(sp)1 Thomson 1 Weir 1 No midfielder has scored more than Nacho. who has 3 or 4
-
Gribz has the most posts on the Gersnet does it make him the best poster.
-
I had a quick gander through the stats and Novo would be top scorer If you are going to add up all the other goals against Novo then yes midfielders and defenders would win. sorry i can't be bothered putting it all down in print at this time.
-
Yes he would score a few but i am afraid his other skills will let him down. if he does not score he has no worth to the team and that is not permissible in the EPL.
-
Novo would take the biscuits.
-
Yep that is what i got.
-
I think you have to be realistic Jon, Boyd is not that good a player. He is not going to score that many in the EPL. They don't pay 5 mill for Championship players.
-
I have never hidden the fact i am not a great Boyd fan. I am different to gribz though in that i do think he does have a value at the club. I would certainly play him in games where Rangers are certain to dominate but not in games where you need 11 guy's fighting for every ball.
-
Yes but you can also see in other games that he is just not suited to these games. imo.
-
I got to 4 starts. 1-2005 2-2006 and the last one.
