  1. To be honest i would prefer him to be replaced by a technical manager who has an understanding of football and a commercial insight. For a lot less money of course.
  2. Lafferty and Miller were put in for speed and to run the channels. Hamilton were stretched time and time again by the two of them although Lafferty was caught offside quite a lot. Hamilton losing their main defenders to injury didn't help their cause. I really feel that the biggest difference to the team though was Pedro Mendez. He just totally ran the show and was hitting KM and KL with pin point passing. I don't really know if Ally made many tactical moves as Rangers went 4-4-2.There was certainly more movement as when Boyd is in. To be honest i am still not sold on Lafferty, he still looks clumsy to me. Mendes was switched for McCulloch to rest him, but due to the injury of Madjid big Lee was moved back to CH almost immediately and with Hamilton down to ten men he did not have much to do. Our defending of corners and free-kicks leaves one hell of a lot to be desired and almost every one Hamilton got led to a chance and indeed the goal was also from a high ball into the area. Shagger made a poor attempt to come for the ball and ran into Madjid. The fact that Hamilton capitulated and lost 4 players didn't really make it a game for many tactical changes. The last 30mins was a training practice with us just tapping the ball around and Hamilton happy to keep the score down. Aaron looked reasonable and can only grow with experience, I hope he doesn't take many penalties though as he was lucky to get a second chance after missing the first.
  3. I am afraid most threads will have some discussion on Walter Jon as he makes the decisions.I think you are the boy with his finger in the dike on this one.
  4. It is a case of you believe what you believe of course.
  5. Totally agree and i said that at the time this managerial team was a superb piece of management by Murray. Not by giving rangers a great manager and future. But by naming Ally McCoist a club hero as part of the team. That deflected all the criticism from Murray.

    Tonights game

John Barnes sacked after losing to Inverness Caley. Paul Le Guen left on mutual agreement after losing to caley twice. Any suggestions welcome.
  9. I think Walter must see psychedelic colours in his head.
  10. Good work 26of good to read such a report.
  11. Cammy i don't know what you thought at the time but i remember the general concencis on here was that we needed a CH. The names you mentioned above are all too weak in the air to do the job.
  12. To be honest in Webster's case we did need a CH and Webster was a reasonably good one at one point. I think he gambled we were getting a million pound player on the cheap. If it had worked out Smith or Bain would have got compliments for shrewd business, unfortunately it didn't work out but on Webster's case i feel it was more unlucky other than bad judgement.
  13. Thanks for that guy's i am away to swallow some jaggy glass to cheer me up,
  14. Well that looks positive we already have a replacement for Beasley on the left. Well done guy's i hope it works out for you and Rangers financial sake.
  15. Whooooh, We were only kidding.
  16. Don't worry Cammy Walter will bring in a centre-half to fill the position.
  17. I'll do one as well Frankie if you have any over. I am still trying to find the time to finish the other piece i am working on though.
  18. Just back from Dortmund v Hoffenheim The game was absolutely crap. All the pleasure for me is the patter on the bus and getting through as many crates of beer as we can. Again, as i do with many Rangers supporters,I have to ask" do these people support their club or hate another club more." Most of their songs texts are about their hate of Schalke 04 and not about their love of Dortmund. As we drove down the motorway the floodlights of Schalke stood out. The swearing cursing, singing and middle finger pointing was amazing We get slammed for being up to the knees in Feni@n blood but the Dortmund supporters have a song that when translated into English states. There lies a man in Gelsenkirchen with his stumoch ripped wide open, If you open him up you will see the words B V B were here. BVB, BVB etc. I also have to say that many of the BVB supporters walk around in celtic shirts that it is easy to see this club has an affinity with the tims, One tit was even stupid enough to have McGeady on his back. The guy's on this bus are brilliant and go out of their way to accommodate the infiltration of 20 neutral supporters. the back of the bus is set off so we can all sit together.(We do participate in the general atmosphere though) Even the singing of Twente Enschede is accepted even although Twente and Schalke are blood brothers. When i walked into the supporters den they have, a Celtic scarf stood out for me amongst the other scarfs they had hanging. I have now promised my Rangers scarf so hopefully i have evened up things visually in their Den. As i said this club has an affinity with the dark side so i can only say. SCHALKE!!! SCHALKE!!!! I hope they don't read this.
  19. Before i scrolled down to your post mainflyer i was ready to type the exact same message. Why with such an important game did Smith play Russian roulette. Crazy and so expensive.
  20. I am totally flabbergasted at the JJB link. In fact at this moment my blood is reaching boiling point. Firstly i want to say i scrolled down and saw three pages and thought god three pages."" It was an excellent read and held my interest to the end.Well written:thup:. Looking at the problem of merchandising, i am sorry but i do not believe the right way is to go is through RSC's or the organisation they are part of. Personally i think that is small minded and selling the bible to the converted. In my eyes the answer has to be with the big manufacturers like Nike Adidas, Umbro etc. They have to be seen to get our merchandise into sport shops over the whole world.Where the RSC's could come in is, monitoring the availability of our merchandise and be in contact with someone at Rangers marketing who can give the manufacturer feedback on availability. Rangers shops have to reappear certainly in Glasgow and other cities with a large support. JJB are obviously not fulfilling their part of the bargain at least in promotion of our merchandise, so we really have to look at what it will cost us to quit the deal. Our product seems to have died in the JJB storeroom. JJB going bust would be a nightmare for it's staff but a Godsend for Rangers in my opinion.
  21. Got to agree i have only seen the crap football. The winning on a long term basis as in winning leagues has eluded me.
  22. Graham Spiers Will probably be slating us tomorrow for being sextarian. And the fans are racist for singing the Feminine song.
  23. Is that the one did the chicken come before the egg or vice versa. Oh no it's humpty Dumtpy! Just like the tims he fell fom a height.
