Aaron has had 10 minutes playing time in a half season in a position we are crying out for someone to show at least a bit of talent. The 10 minutes he had he looked promising. Fleck played in 2007 +- 20mins in a friendly in Germany + in the Scottish cup final and again he looked promising. Fleck played in the pre-season friendlies in Germany this season and also scored i believe,he has not been seen since. Yes he has been injured for a while but there were plenty of chances to break him in. That is Walter Smiths decision. Walter preferred to pay Burnley 3million of our much needed cash, on a player who doesn't seem to be able to get his feet to work together,and another 2.5 mill for an untried player from Canada. Please don't give Dotty Wotty another penny to spend except his pension money.

With the piggy-bank empty we are now told the only money has to come from selling off players. Another good bit of business, telling clubs we are desperate for money. I think they will feel sorry for us and offer us millions for our rejects. Unless of course we are going to sell off the few jewels we have left. So at the end of the season with a team filled with players more familiar with a relegation battle than an SPL trophy, all on long contracts, Where do we go from there. I dread to even try to contemplate where we are going. 30mill in debt and a team of lower standard SPL players. The only two real assets we have Murray park and Ibrox start to look to be balancing on a tight-rope. Happy new year.

Personally i think there are a few jewels in the SPL waiting to be plucked but Lee Wilkie is too much of a gamble i am afraid. It would seem we can only afford to gamble on players with dodgy knees.

I have had a look and it can be retrieved as far as i can see but that would have to be with the permission of Yieldshields. Strange one poster can delete posts from another poster.

I actually didn't realise that a poster could delete a whole thread without the help of Admin. It would have been better just to edit the title or posts that he felt were delete worthy. I certainly never felt anything so bad as to warrant a delete and as i said i could feel with his and everyone's emotion as i also felt the frustration. Wrong wording possibly, but the thread was certainly worthwhile.

Filling the forum with swear words and personal attacks is not what i want to see happening. Calling someone an F'n twat or wanker or whatever does not really imply his football skills are wanting. That is the problem with watty he sticks to things that have worked for him in the past. How many on here said Adam would play on the left? If we can foresee it then it won't be rocket science for Strachan to work out. He cost us 10 in a row through loyalty to players who were slipping down the ropes and now with Weir, Fergie and players out of position he is falling into the same trap.

Funny enough i was looking back on that period as well in the last few days for a piece i am working on and had the exact same thoughts. Even Nacho Novo's wage seems to be a hurdle these days. Arveladze Mols Arteta de Boer oh how i wish we had them today.

The unfortunate truth is he is one of the few, who we can miss, who will bring any money in. Adam, Burke etc will bring in peanuts.

Personally i think that is why Nacho is being offered up, so we can bring in a central defender. Sheils if true will not cost as much and he will be on a lesser wage.
